I was very happy with the professional care I received from Dr. Heltsley and his staff.

Dr. Heltsley and staff were very helpful and patient with my questions. Every one was professional yet friendly and courteous.Ive been wearing glasses for over 25 years.I am bit disappointed the lenses are plastic. The last pair I purchased from Dr. Heltsley were heavy and made of glass. These plastic lenses seem to scratch easily. They are very difficult to clean.

The staff was extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I was visiting from out of town, and Dr. Heltsley made time to see me. He clearly explained my problem, and quickly assessed and planned appropriate treatment. I was much better within 48 hours. Highly recommend!

Very helpful team. Ready to solve issues when they arise. Extremely friendly. I particularly like the evening office hours so appointments are convenient to schedule.

I was a patient of Dr Heltsley’s father until his retirement several years ago. I’ve been seeing Dr John Heltsley (the son) ever since. Obviously I’m satisfied or I wouldn’t still be seeing him these many years later.I just had my annual eye exam but didn’t get my glasses changed even though I’ve been having some vision problems. Dr Heltsley said I have no eye disease of any kind and my vision has had very little change since last year.Since I’ve suffered from dry eye for years, Dr Heltsley recommended I use my recommended eye drops daily rather than intermittently. He said irregular use of the drops is the cause of my vision problems.Dr Heltsley could have bumped up my prescription a little plus sold me new frames, but he proved his honesty by recommending no change and just over-the-counter dry eye drops.Yeah, I recommend Dr Heltsley at Heltsley Eye Clinic.

I’m loyal to Dr. Heltsley. I don’t like the current situation though. Take a number and wait in your car. It’s not personable for buying glasses at a certain price. I’m not even sure what I was charged. But I’m not a one star guy. They did what I asked, and they fit. I don’t like the process enough to take one away though!

I ordered my glasses from them. I paid extra $300 to have transition lenses and the lenses thinned down because I have a strong prescription. The lady that took my order never once told me because I had Well are insurance my glasses would turn out horrible because they had to go to a different lab than they use. When they came in I was so upset! She was so rude about it. Never did she even offer to help make my purchase satisfactory. I took them back and they said they would send them back. But they didnt. Because I called the lab! No one called me to tell me they were there. So I called and the lady was even ruder than before! I explained that I paid them the extra money, then she interrupted me and stated we didnt make any money off of you the lab did! Do not support people that are that rude. Just because I had a different insurance. Or you didnt make as much money off me as other people. I will never recommend this place to anyone. They should have told me about the lab. I wouldnt have wasted my time and money on them! 😠
