Its our second time at the Spoon Restaurant, and our 3rd time in Oradea. We really like the ambiance and the food they serve here. Also, the view is quite beautiful over the river. This restaurant doubles as a bar which is also very nice. The prices are also as expected. Be ready to wait a while for the food.

Spoon is a very nice place to have a sit and enjoy the river view and their great foods. It is nicely decorated and pretty spacious. The terrace can be closed and even has heating.The staff was friendly and helpful.The food was great. I had heard many great things about the place, and it was actually up to par. Be warned: the food portion are rather large. We enjoyed some nice and proper Fish and Chips, a great Double Cheeseburger, some Mozarella Sticks (the cheese pull was very satisfying), Lava Cake and Mousse. All tied together by some nice Lemonades (they only serve small ones here, 280 ml).The prices are not that expensive and the food and view are totally worth it.

Good food, atmosphere and views. Many options in the menu. We missed some local dishes from the area and some more drafted beers but anyway, a good spot to have a good time.

We stopped twice for a quick coffee and bite. The location is exquisite, on the river bank, beautiful view. The coffee, cake and food were delicious. The service was good. The toilet spotless.

Excellent view - if you get the right table. I specifically asked for a table on the edge with a view in my reservation and they assured me, but upon arrival they only allowed us to sit at a center table despite 5 or 6 tables on the edge being available. However, after a little while, they allowed us to move. Besides this, service is terrific and they are very polite. Food is nice.

Great food, its definitely worth its price

Great food, friendly staff and its also pet friendly. Ive been here with my dog and get her a kids menu, they got her the food in plastic box so she could easily eat. At the entrance is also two large bowls of water for the dogs.Totally recommend it especially of you have a dog 🐶

Very good place, on the bank of river Cris. Good food, good music, good service. Air conditioned interior, places on the terrace too. Recommend!

Great place on the river with nice view. Went on a Thursday, not too crowded. The food was excellent. They have craft beer.

One star is only for location. They should do something with the staff, it is so unprofessional and reluctant to make your evening nice.We booked a table on a terrace in advance to celebrate birthday, and they ensured us of the availability of a table with the view. When we came they wanted to put us somewhere in the back, even though the table with the view was empty. They tried to persuade us that it is booked and not by us but they couldn’t find out on what name. We were watching, and no one showed up there for one hour and a half.If you want to to be served by gloomy and arrogant staff, this is the best place to go.Food and drinks were ok.

The food was good, service was timely even though we came here for lunch and the terrace was almost full. The food was tasty, nicely seasoned and very big portions. The staff was very nice and the prices fair. Very good value.

The reason we came the first time was the great location by the river, but we returned a second time for the delicious food and drinks.

Need to be patient, it takes a lot to get the food and after we ask for the receipt we decided to go inside to get the rest.The menu is ok but you dont have so many choices.

Very nice place with a great view over the river. I enjoyed their food, the service, I definitely recommend it. I was also impressed with the interior design and the atmosphere: modern, but cozy, large spaces, large and clean bathrooms, interesting sinks, nice music and not very loud.

Although we were a bit on a hurry, the service was very good and so was the food. Weve tried 5 different dishes and enjoyed every one of them. They have a good food variety of food and drinks. Theres also a separate baby changing room in the bathroom :)

Very nice and cosy place, perfect to spend a lovely evening with friends. We visited the restaurant in october and it was cold outside, but the terrace is covered and very warm. The food is amazing and the waitress are very friendly and helpful.

Nice location, cheap prices and very good vegetarian burger. Recommend.

The place is nicely located on the river bank, so it has a view. We were actually seated in an enclosed terrace, those type of things that arguably are treated as terrace because instead of walls there is a plastic foil. The menu is quite interesting, raging from American to Italian to Romanian dishes. We had a flatbread, bacon and cheese, and the t bone. The flatbread was very tasty, had some mixed cheese types that went well with bacon and onion. The t bone was one of the expensive dishes, so expectations were higher. The meat was not consistently medium as I asked for it. Some salt flakes for more flavour, some herbs would have helped. The quality of the meat was otherwise ok and it was served at medium temperature. It was a dry dish with the wedges on the side, no sauce and the vegetables which could have helped were not done well enough (acceptable for zucchini, not acceptable for the eggplant). So not worth the choice for 76 ron. Portions are mid to large, prices a bit above mid. All personnel should properly wear masks during pandemic. Also, big table with over 10 people, obviously not relatives, so all in all not aligned to the current state of things for safety.

Food is absolutely great, I liked everything, it was perfectly balanced, not too big, not to small - size of the meal which is perfect for ordering a dessert. The service was very pleasant, friendly, quite attentive, theyve also tried speaking English with us.Prices are reasonable (around 35-70 LEI for the main dish), they have English menu.The interior of the restaurant has a nice design, music is not too loud, sound of the river is very soothing. Whole place is very clean.Cards are accepted.Unfortunately this restaurant does not recognize the concept of a non-smoking zone. Smoking is allowed outside, but even taking a table inside of the restaurant will not guarantee nice clean air as all windows are opened. Unfortunately the whole experience was spoiled by arrival of a group of heavily smoking people to the next table, which destroyed my meal - theres no pleasure from eating nice food in a very stinking area.

Food was tasty, prices are not very low but they are offering great food and good service. They have a nice view of the river, especially on the deck.

Their menu is one of the worst Ive ever seen.One of the only reasons why I liked that place is the fact that they had the best lava cake in town. Now they dont have lava cake anymore.I hope that theyll fix this. Until then, I give them 2 stars, with indulgence.

Great location either in summer or winter. Great food with great service. In the summer I would recommend to choose the open terrace to hear the river flowing bellow.I would recommend the Antipasti if you have a little hunger, or anything else you find in the menu. Check my photos.

The restaurant is placed above the river and the view is spectacular, especially at sunset. The staff is very polite and kind. It has a great variety of food, from sushi to pasta and from burgers to salads. I strongly recommend the flatbread. Here is a photo with chicken breast and a salad filled with interesting spices.

The atmosphere is amazing, the food is okish. Although the restaurant looks stunning, the prices aren’t so high.

The duck breast was amazing, the dessert was very nice. The staff were very accommodating with me needing to work remotely from the restaurant. The only piece of constructive criticism that I would like to point out, is the fact that the hummus was way to dry. Other than that, keep up with the good work.

I love this place, I visit it everytime when I come to Oradea!

The place looks nice for the design point of view. 3 stars because we have to wait for 1 hour for serving us.....very very slow. And the food looks nice but is not so good.

If you want to serv your meal in a quality place you could choose to enjoy the atmosphere of this restaurant.The restaurant is situated on the left side of Crisu Repede river and has the terace above the water.Reccomanded for: breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner or only for a caffe in the morning or a wine in the sun set on the river.The terasse is open but has automate systems to be closed depends on the weather.

The food was absolutely amazing, the prices lower than expected, the venue was really nice and the staff very nice and accomodating. We loved it so much that we went back for lunch the next day ;)) And were definitely going back as soon as we get the chance (when we visit Oradea again).

Location and the view are great. Cosy place, friendly, receptive staff. Prices are decent.If you order pizza do not expect the dough to be thin. A 500g pizza out of which 350g is dough, imho is unacceptable :(Penne with blue cheese & chicken were ok except that the penne were slightly undercooked and dry.As for the desert - the cheesecake was good.If the chance to visit again, I would order pork ribs or the double beef burger.When ordering make sure to ask how the meal is served to avoid any surprises.

The restaurant is outstanding. We had a terrific dinner with delicious dishes, great view over the Criș river and friendly staff. The medium rare steak was perfectly served just like anything else we had including the drinks. I tottaly recommend this place for a high class experience at very decent prices!

We spent exactly 5 minutes there, waiting for someone to notice us. Eventually we stopped a waiter who said we can sit somewhere.We wanted to sit outside, but we soon discovered “outside” meant a terrace which was completely closed and people were smoking there. Thought that’s still prohibited, but seems rules don’t apply here.We got up and left, as the smoke was making it impossible to breath there.Waiter wasn’t sad.

Food was ok but very understaffed

Very disappointed to have come back to this beloved restaurant and see a very big decrease in food quality. The flat bread was very dry, a very unfortunate pairing of crispy bacon and salad with a very bad tasting sauce. The side potatoes on the chicken with brie were not properly cooked, paired with the same sauce.

A great place with a great view! You get a great taste of nature and urban view blended together, being placed over Crișul Repede river and right next to the park and the city street and bridges. We wanted to grab some quick bites before going on with the city exploration, but our dishes were really tasty: Mangalița Sandwich and Brooklyn Rolls. Hope to visit you soon, guys!
