We stopped in there today after viewing what the two big box stores had to offer. We were pleasantly surprised at the selection, quality, and prices of The Floor Store. We met with Chea shortly before the store closes- I work all day so this was the only time I could come in. She was the most committed sales person I have met in years! She lined up the tiles on the floor for us. That was very nice. The prices were so good that I went ahead and bought two sets of tiles. One is for our kitchen and the other is for the bathroom that we wont even touch for probably 6-12 months but you cant pass up deals like this! We bought the grout from here too. It was a couple of dollars more than box stores but you get to choose a wide variety of colors and its the same quality that the contractors use. Our dream of a tiled kitchen and bathroom floor is much closer now!EDIT: Today, they delivered the tile after we drove there to pick it up. We assured them they didnt have to unload the heavy items but the guy helped out anyway. Wow!

I have to say that in all its half and half how I feel about the floor store probably because of the experience I had to go through being the first job not done correctly and then waiting on the second job to finally come and get done my floor cost too much and my time cost too much

We had the floor store install a door for us 2 months ago. They removed a window and then cut out the opening for the door. The door was extremely difficult to open, and they tried to say it would “work it’s way” into opening better. We called them to come fix it, and the person that came out worked on it for a few minutes and said it was the best he could do. The door didn’t open any better.We recently hired someone to frame the door. He wasn’t able to frame it in because the Floor Store did such a sloppy job cutting the brick around the door. It’s all jagged and uneven. He also informed us the our door won’t open correctly because it’s not plumb.I called the Floor Store again this week and requested that they come fix the door and cut our brick better. I have yet to hear back from them. I’ve sent the salesperson several text messages that have been completely ignored.I paid way too much for the problems we are having. I’m not impressed with the job that was done or the communication. I will never use this business again.

They installed new quartz counter tops for us and did a beautiful job. But I would not recommend based on their communication style. I was quoted 3-4 weeks and it was 7 weeks before installation. I had to call twice to get a status on the job. We originally went with The Floor Store out of the Hot Springs Village location because they do remodel work as well. We bought a new home and thought it would be convenient to find someone to do a few jobs for us. We had them come out to measure for the new counter tops and a new porch. We never got a quote in writing for the porch. I was quoted over the phone a price for the porch of my dreams but never got any more information on what that entailed, despite asking to receive it.UPDATE: We discovered a leak under our new kitchen sink a few months after install. I had to CALL FOUR TIMES over the course of two weeks before their plumber came out. He was here for a few minutes and tightened a bolt. The leak continued. I didnt want to deal with The Floor Store again, so I had someone else fix the leak. They had to take sections of the pipe apart and re-do it. Its been a few weeks and the leak hasnt come back.

We had the Floor Store remodel our lakefront condo....And we absolutely love the way the condo looks. The shower.. the granite.. the floors.. the cabinets.. the doors .. the walls and trim all so beautiful and professional. Great job guys!

I wish our experience at this store had turned out better than it did. We thought we were going to get something great.After not getting the granite we picked out, after seeing that it wasnt cut right, after bringing the wrong tile for the backsplash, after being lied to, after Carlton wont talk to us, after not completing the job, now, we have a big long crack in the grout. There is a crack about nine feet long from one corner of the kitchen that runs up behind the sink.REALLY LOOKS BAD !!

Chae and the entire staff are friendly & helpful. Great selection of flooring and granite. They were on time for the appointments they made to measure my home and did the work very quickly. The installers were TRUE professionals! They moved our furniture, installed carpet, replaced the furniture...even the piano. Great job!

The Floor Store had the best pricing. Along with that was good news/bad news. The grout in my floor would not adhere; although, the flooring itself looked beautiful. Not to worry, though. The store manager/owner volunteered to replace the entire floor!UPDATE: 07/26/2018 They sent out a new crew. The entire floor has been removed, replaced, and cleaned. So far all is well!

DONT GET RIPPED OFF BY THE FLOOR STORE!!Do your math! Dont be a dumb customer. Check it out! Its your money.I have signed documents for this RIDICULOUS QUOTE (10/30/2018):177 sq.ft bedroom carpet = $958. Actual quote from the Floor Store.Now DO THE MATH!The carpet is $2.78 per square foot. Multiply by 177 sq.ft. = $492. Add 9.5% tax = $539DO THE MATH! $958 - $539 = $419! Thats 85% EXTRA!!Yes, I know there is always some overage because of dimensions and sizes, I get it. But 85%???!!!Thats a RIP-OFF of a dumb customer who doesnt DO THE MATH!IT GETS WORSE! Their TV ad says, ...100% financing @ 0% for a year. Maybe youve seen it?But I was TOLD TO PAY $479 UP FRONT before they will order carpet. So THE AD IS FALSE!AND EVEN WORSE! I was then told I was lucky - they didnt charge me the EXTRA $150 FEE for a small job (under $1000).SERIOUSLY??? Anybody see price gouging here? False advertising? Trying to take advantage of a dumb customer??DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THE FLOOR STORE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Being new to the area, I was confused whether to find a contractor or go with an established vendor. After trying to get estimates, all appointment were no shows, which is common in Hot Springs. I decided to try `The Floor Store` that advertise on local t.v. My first contact was with a sales manager Chea Ledbetter who was very accommodating in the tile flooring for our outside patio and plywood overlay in our attic. The owner and Chea were at our home within 2 days. They priced the job to our satisfaction. They do not hire contractors, all work is performed by full time staff. I would highly recommend them.

I had great service there. They helped me compare different colors and got me squared away real fast.

Hired Floor Store for a complete remodel of my master bath, the project got off to a decent start but soon turned into an unorganized mess. Price was on the high side, definitely didnt get customer service or finished product to justify the cost. Make sure you get the owner to write out EVERY LITTLE detail on the bid. They paraded several different workers through our house, each one didnt know where the last crew left off and with no supervision from the owner, (he only showed up on the very first day, didnt even show up at the end to inspect his guys work) there was a lot of wasted time. Original time frame for job was 10-14 days, Actual construction time was almost a month. The crew broke our shower door during installation and when I called I to inform the owner about this He was rude and told me theyd replace it and hung up on me. Bottom line is I will not be using this company for anything in the future, nor would I recommend them to anyone else.

TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Ordered a counter top for our bathroom 7 weeks ago and still nothing. They give us a different excuse every time. They were going to come install on this date, but said because of the rain they were running late. They advised they would be there be 8-9am which would mean we were the first appointment. Well as of 11am no one showed up. I called and they said some confusion happened and they will be there around noon now. This was not good, we have waitied 7 weeks and now you mix us up with another client. Talked to the owner, Jill (I think) and she was not a very good owner. No sorry, or that was our fault. Just very akward silence and never apologized for any of the inconvience of this all. I would suggest a new owner who knows how to talk to customers. My husband went there to speak to them, and still no apologies. The male manager put it on us like it was our fault and was very rude. I mean very rude!! Take your money somewhere else!!!!!!! Save yourself now.

My husband and I decided to hire The Floor Store in Hot Springs not because of their reasonable prices because from several estimates we got around town they were the highest priced, but when we went into their showroom the owner and other sales guy seemed pretty friendly, it was a company versus other self contractors we got estimates from we assumed since The Floor Store is a licensed company, family owned and local we would get the quality job we wanted and the best service. Didnt work quite like we thought it would, first of all they gave us a time frame of 2 weeks max before they could start our job, it took about 1 month, I had to call their office to get an update because I didnt get a call from anyone, Just like in the previous review didnt get the customer service or finished product to justify the high cost. They had 2 different crews come in, the first crew I want to say was a little more professional and friendly but yet wouldnt show up til 9-10 am, alot of wasted time they could of finished 3-4 days before but last crew was just lazy (we have video cameras inside our house) and would watch throughout the day the type of work they did. The salesman initially said they were going to replace the entire baseboard at the end they only replaced the quarter round. Considering this is not the only house we have put tile too, we have seen different crews and different ways of working. They did not mention all the options we had, for example I asked on the last day if they were going to put a sealer they said oh you never mentioned that well shouldnt you explain all the different options we have??I had another project to do at our house after The Floor Store would finish installing our tile, the contractors I have now had to remove part of the baseboards to do part of the project and they pointed out what a lack of work the floor store did, when removing the baseboard theirs a big gap between the tile and the wall, which it could of been prevented if they would of taken the baseboards out like they said to begin with and install the tile against the wall correctly, now we will run thru a problem of getting bugs, or water thru that gap, with time it will become a problem. Not happy!!I could of use them to put backsplash in my kitchen and changing the carpet in bedrooms but definitely will not use them again nor do I recommend them. I feel they have alot of improving to do when it comes to quality work and customer service, they are no better than any self contractor or joe in a chuck truck.
