This Walmart is usually good at stocking up and checking out, however since Hurricane Ida, two months out, stock is still low and very long lines at the check out. They also would not accept any returns without a receipt if you paid cash. Also would not allow an even exchange which I was very disappointed with...

From what I experienced with the staffing and the customers at this WAL-MART regardless of all the catastrophe they have endurance their hospitality remains the same with strong ambition to see to it that their visitors receives the best proficiency while continue shopping with ease thats the quality every ones looks for when facing difficulties are just serenity for peace ✌️🕊️

Walmart on Grand Caillou Road has been closed for weeks it is September 23,2021 and they are still closed for cleaning up after Ida or whatever theyre doing but its closed. They should be professional about this and add that to their Walmart page instead of saying that its open till 10:00 misleading people thinking that theyre open.

My complaint is about Walmart pick up. There are so many times where I have missing items or wrong items or items that are spoiled, rotten. This time I ordered garlic and all the garlic were dried out and rotten and black inside. I threw them away! It’s a hassle driving back to Walmart with a baby to do a whole return then repurchase. I wish they’d be more thoughtful and caring when shopping for customers.

What Walmart has going for it is its prices, location, and the fact that this location has curbside grocery pickup. The main problem I have with Walmart (and not just this location) is that they always seem to be understaffed. And very frequently I see employees lingering in the aisles talking or playing on their cell phones. I have MS and sometimes have difficulty with walking and standing for long periods of time. There are rarely any working motorized shopping carts available, and when there are, a lot of times they are broken or the battery is dead or very low. So the fact that there are times that I am waiting 20-30 minutes in line to check out is a big let down. There have been times that I have had to leave without completing my purchase because I had been standing in a checkout line for so long that I physically could not do it any longer. This wouldnt be as much of an issue if we were able to purchase everything that is in store through the curbside pickup, but a lot of items are listed as in store purchases only. Ive also had the issue of picking up my items at curbside and being told that an item was out of stock, but then I go park my car and walk into the store to find an alternative, and the item I was told was out of stock is still stocked on the shelf. This mainly happens when I am ordering from both the grocery side and the general merchandise side.

The line was to the back of store..one register open and she was there just to tell everyone to go to self service..well that what many people was saying..I felt lucky when many people in front of me decided it wasnt worth it and left the store.. but a very long wait..

This place will never get 5 stars from me. Its real lsdies-be leary of your surroundings. I was being followed by some guy and I went stand by two of the workers and he finally went on his way when he realized I figured out what he was up to.

Tried to EXCHANGE a pair of $12 pants I brought for my auntie didnt have the receipt and the store manager refused to let me exchange without a receipt even though its not posted anywhere in the store that they dont do exchanges or refunds without a receipt. Told me I can go to another Walmart.

I was in the store looking through the underwear and I seen a Walmart employee belittle and shame an elderly employee. The elderly employer was on the verge of tears. I felt so bad for the elderly employee. I was so angry to see such hostile treatment to a human being. This is against the law and should be taken care of immediately. I am so disappointed that Walmart had such rude and unprofessional employees.

The customer service desk close 2 hours before the store does. Not very good customer service

Since Ive discovered and started using the Pick-Up option, Im once again a repetual Walmart customer! My order has ALWAYS been correct, even sometimes they substitute a larger quantity or better item if my original choice was out of stock. Service was fast and friendly. A+++

I dont know how well known this Walmart is in the local communities, but I promise you everyone that is in the know, shops this Walmart!! The store is organized, shelves and floors are clean and clutter free, bathrooms actually have toilet paper and paper towels, soap and sanitizer is available, the entire store is well maintained!!! This Walmart will be my go to from now on!! Good Job Walmart peeps!! I know they dont pay you near enough, but I appreciate you!!

People complain about the lines but the workers have families as well. I found everything where you would expect it to be. Thank you again

Today was proof as to why I hate shopping at the East side Walmart. Out of everything. Then, I had to wait 30 mins (pressing the button 5 times) for someone who was doing pick up orders to open the formula case for her to throw a fit cause she couldnt walk to the front with me. So she had to grab someone else so I could get my formula. Its sad.

I find great cat toys and food here.The organic and gluten-free sections are growing, YAY!Walmart Supercenters outdoor section has a wide variety of soil amendments, plants and furniture, too.

Not much selection. Out of alot of veggies and things Im having to find alternatives. Dont carry Texas Pete Hot Sauce apparently.. Smh. Lol.

Need more employees!!!! Or need to fix the large check out section. Checking out a fill basket in the short check out section is a pain and makes the line for people with less stuff long. The employees they do have are running around trying to help

Store was clean and organized. I bought groceries and wanted to buy 3 packs of George t- shirts for my husband only to find them behind a locked case. Wouldnt have been a problem if someone would have been able to wait on me. I waited well over 30 minutes I even phoned the store to speak with a manager or supervisor only to find out their wasnt one on duty. At least thats what I was told. A very nice pharmacist walked past me. I asked her what was the name of the store manager, she replied Zenia. Hopefully soon she will be able to unlock her t-shirts and sell them to paying customers!!! Needles to say in seeking to find out who her district manager is. So maybe no one else will have to be so aggravated at least be able to make a purchase!!!

They smashed my bread, spilled groceries in my trunk, smashed my instant mashed potatoes to where they busted open and spilled, smashed my zebra cakes. Very disappointed because service is usually much better. Disappointed in Walmart pickup service.

Good luck getting in touch with anyone here no one knows how to answer a phone and when they do they place you on hold for about 15min and if you dont hang up by then they hang up for you

Had to wait 15 minutes to have someone to unlock the soap so I could buy a few bars of Dove.

There was was time when you could buy ammo off the shelves,, now you cant even buy soap or underwear without having to get someone to unlock it for you.

Had to get a prescription they didnt have. They alway have thats why Im mad.I dont get why nation wide every Walmart got 20 registers only 3 open?

Just hate the service, or the no service. Only 2 registers open for people who have more than 20 items. Plus maybe 2 for people with full baskets. I hate that self checkout, feel like they pay cashiers for that. Unless they want to give all self serve people 5% off for doing there job.

Unless one knows right where the items one wants, one does not get help, employees are rude, act as if customers are major problems, not like when they first opened up, when ask where a certain item is, they were cheerful an would show you where to go, would ask if there was anything else they needed their help.Now the point and act like the customer is the problem.

I no longer shop at Walmart. Worst customer experience. 50 people with full buggies checking out at the only 2 lines open. Left my buggy fill of groceries and havent bought anything from the since. I now show at Target and Rouses.

They always do an excellent job with my grocery pickup orders, even when there are substitutions. I like that they give out the little sample bags every once in a while, too. I havent shopped inside too often, but when I have, it was a good experience.

Well it is on the property side of town and it does not have a great selection like the upper class side of town also it is no longer 24 hours which is the biggest downfall of all. Well this is the second time I had to come to this Walmart today because I dont have a vehicle and this is the closest one to me and if you dont have a credit card or exact change you cant make a purchase at Walmart so whoever gave him a 3.9 rating really does not shop at this Walmart

Everything in this store is under lock and key. Wait 15 minutes for an associate to unlock a case. Ended up leaving without the product because no one ever showed up.
