Not your big huge super size grocery stores. In North Louisiana areas, Save A Lot stores carry selections different than the Save A Lot here in Houma, such as pork maw, chicken feet, beef tripe, etc. Know your prices as compared with other grocery stores. I like their store brand saltine crackers and salad dressing. Sometimes, they have good T-bone steaks on sale. Smaller store, less walk, in and out.

I have shopped at Save a lot many times but tonight was a unique experience...The cashier was super kind and outgoing enough to engage in conversation, and real polite. Something about when you speak about Jesus just seems to bring so much peace to such a simple moment in time. Thank you for being so nice and kind as you checked us out tonight Neeka. This Save-A-Lot is convenient for me. The prices are reasonable and the products are generally easy to find. The staff is friendly. Theres usually no clutter in the aisles. The bathroom is clean.

Save A Lot use to be a nice place to shop for your Groceries. They use to have 3 Mobility Carts available for customers who needed them to do there shopping. Now its been several months that they Removed the Mobility Carts which is very Sad. The employees are rude to the customers and the store has went down tremendously! This is the one located on Grand Calliou Road in Houma,La. We use to love shopping there but not anymore!

Better experience this time. Store was clean, fast checkout, & great product. Pricing is decent. $30 for a $50 dinner. Not bad at all.

The cashiers always have an attitude, I used to like shopping here but the new staff makes it very unwelcoming.

As the title implies you will save a lot of money shopping here. They have great deals on items that you can find at other places for double the price. However I do not recommend buying raw meat from here because the price is outrageous. I spent $6 for one pound of ground beef here when I could have gotten two lb of ground beef at Walmart for the same price

They have good sells on meat if you get there before its all gone.

I love shopping here. Prices are great and a fairly big selection. While they dont have everything I need, it is worth the trip to save.

Great value for money. Everything you can practically get from Walmart, but cheaper. Was a little tricky to find what we needed at first but soon found our way around. Staff that are stocking are helpful and friendly. Although, both cashiers on the two times weve been here have been very moody and kind of rude. It seems to be because we had so many items. We would still come back, though.

Doesnt always have what is on the sale ad or they receive very limited quantities of the product.Prices are not bad but sometimes higher on certain items.I like I can run in run out.

Very friendly people. One of the cashiers ran out in the parking lot to bring a lady her food she had forgotten. The only down side is the lines to check out are way too long. They did open up 2 more registers after the checkout line was around the block lol .
