This business deserves 5 stars. Dropped off my cracked car interior wood trim for repair and they did a fantastic job. The trim came out like brand new. Even the dealership was amazed by how well it turned out. The factory replacement was $1800 for this piece and I was able to get it repaired for a very reasonable price. Thank you AHM!

After a stressful move immediately after the winter storm, my dining room chair was broken by movers! AHM furniture gave me a quote, repaired the chair on time, and it looks GREAT!!!

This company was sent out by Ashley furniture store to see if our table could be repaired. The tech said it could not be repaired and he would be recommending replacement. When the email I received indicated that Ashley would be doing nothing. I called amh and told them that the tech said he’s seen many tables just like this and he would recommend replacing it and he would suggest that we ask for an in store credit and get a different table as this same thing will happen again. The lady at ahm said they’ve had issues with this tech and he shouldn’t talk to the customer and he would be reprimanded again.So basically ahm goes against the techs advice to save Ashley from having to replace inferior furniture. Do not use ahm or Ashley!

AHM Furniture is so professional and does excellent work! They repaired a desk and credenza which were damaged in a move, then recovered our dining room parsons chairs. They communicated throughout the process and provided highly qualified pick up and delivery service at a reasonable cost. We are very pleased with the excellent work they have done for us.

They were prompt about sending a technician out to look at repair for power recliner and sofa. However they have not provided follow up. At two weeks, I called and they had no update on parts, cost, anything. Its been another week and no follow up. Sadly disappointed.

I took seat cushion in for repair, the material is no longer in production, they were able to loosen material from sides of cushion and sew in a repair, these folks are top notch, and if they read this thanks again for the help.

Had a chaise lounge repaired with them via The Dump(who was NOT the easiest to work with) but AHM came through and got it repaired like new!!

One leg of our mid-century pedestal table (a wedding gift) had developed a catastrophic crack, to the point where it was about to break off completely. In fact, it had broken and been reattached previously by another shop.AHM did a fantastic job repairing and reinforcing the crack. A tech from AHM was sent out by Star furniture to repair a very fine line at the bottom near the leg, tech came and not only ruined the entire piece, but also ruined my carpet. Never told me he was going to spray the entire side of the sofa, ruining the entire piece which is now being replaced by star furniture due to color mismatch. The entire house was full of chemical smell due to the spray and I have a new born who is very sensitive to such smells. So not professional.

We had purchased a leather looking (aka vinyl) recliner from Ashley Furniture 5 years ago. The vinyl held up well for the first 3 years and then began to peel. I looked online for a furniture repair shop and AHM had a super easy process to get a free online quote. Within 24 hours of submitting my pictures and a description of my request, we had a very reasonable quote (which was much cheaper than buying an entire new chair). We opted to save our ourselves the delivery fee and dropped the chair off at their shop. The customer rep was able to show us a ton of durable material options and show us actual examples on their shop floor. Ill be picking up my chair in the next week or so and will post the after picture. But until then...below is my before picture.

Had a service scheduled to fix a piece of furniture. The worker instead decided on his own to just realign a piece instead of replacing my scratched furniture and now I have to wait even longer to get my furniture fixed!! He was in and out 5 mins and I called immediately so he could turn around and apparently he was too busy now.. wow horrible!!Edit: He came back. Unfortunately the furniture was unable to be repaired but that’s not his fault.

They did such great work! I brought in two suede couch cushions that were chewed on by puppies and they fixed them so well that I could barely notice they were damaged before. They were also done in two days which was way faster than expected!

Accidentally bought a couch that was too big to fit into my apartment entryway. I called around 2 pm asking if they would help me take it apart and put it back together. Wow! AHM furniture did a remarkable job on our bedroom suit. My husband’s grandfather bought it at the 1913 Texas State Fair. They made it look like new again. The color was perfect and all the repairs were exceptional. We are going to have them do our dining room table next. Just picked up my table from AHM and wow, I’ve never seen such a perfect repair in my life. The leg of the table was snapped off when I moved and and AHM crafted a brand new leg that matches perfectly (can’t even tell which leg is the new one). Not only that, the employees were so kind and so excited for me to pick up my table. It’s wonderful to see people that take such pride in their work! I will absolutely bring any other furniture that I need repaired here; I was just thoroughly impressed all around!

I honestly don’t know how they do it! I have used other furniture repair companies in the past and no one comes close to AHM Furniture Service. When they say they make your furniture look new again, it is not just a empty promise, they really do deliver! I have had them work on my dining chairs, a scratched dresser and a leather sofa that I thought was destined for the curb. The final results blew me away and saved me tons from having to buy new furniture. They were even able to a floor scratch on my wood floors. This is a great company! My wife and I have used their services for the rebuilding of some furniture and seriously have been amazed with their work. My appointment was scheduled from 4 to 6 and the moment he knew he would be running late, he called me to keep me updated and informed on progress so I could know when to expect him. AHM refinished the top of a partners desk for me and did an outstanding job. I was concerned that it would be difficult to match the stain to the rest of the office credenza furniture but AHM matched the stain perfectly. A great job all-around. I will definitely use them again!

My entire experience was pleasant. The customer service representative handled my request in a professional manner. The service technician was pleasant and dressed appropriately. The service technician showed me the problem and explain to me how he planned to resolve the issue. My only complaint is the service technician was an hour late, but he did call to let me know that he was behind schedule. I do appreciate the fact that customer service squeezed me in the same day I made the phone call.

The repair was efficient and affordable. Our second time using AHM and the quality of their workmanship is excellent. My only reason for a four instead of a five is the scheduling. The first date was a window of the only time when I might not be home and I was told that I would have to go through the automatic scheduler one more time before they cold manually schedule. Added a week to getting the repair done.

Juan came to my house on time and did an excellent job on all the pieces of furniture I pointed out to him. We had damage ranging from movers, dogs and from the warehouse. He made them look like brand new again. Thank you Ahm for an awesome job at an awesome price!

My 50 year old walnut table had a stain on it. When AHM refinished the top, it looked beautiful, BUT I can no longer put placemats, table runner, tablecloths, or even candle sticks on it without it leaving a ghosting image on the table. While the image will rub away with Pledge, this NEVER occurred before their work. A tech came out resealed but no difference. A manager promised to come out, but has not followed up. I hope that I can find someone to undo their mess!

This is the second time I have used AHM Furniture Service. They provided professional and reliable service each time. The service provider, who was prompt and personable, came to my home and fixed the spring that was causing the problem on the recliner. He also checked all other mechanisms. The folks at AHM made the refurbishing process nice and easy. My old green queen anne chair (with broken springs) has been transformed into an amazing extremely comfortably leather chair. After the devastating floods of hurricane Harvey we entrusted AHM Furniture with restoring all of our furniture downstairs. Like most people, we have spent our adult life accumulating nice things that were intended to last a lifetime and be passed on to our children after we were gone.Adam and the team at AHM immediately came across as trustworthy and assured us that everything would be fine. I could tell they were dedicated craftsman and not salesmen.Needless to say, when we received our furniture we were stunned. It did not just look like new, some of it actually looked better than new! We were even able to vary some of the stain colors to adapt to our new remodeled house.Thank you AHM, you really helped make this disaster appear to be a blessing in disguise in some respects!!!

Excellent refinish of a table that belonged to my grandmother. The table was in pretty bad shape when I took it to Ahm Refinish Service. Now, it is so beautiful and sitting in our living room.

Extremely difficult to work with, to the point where I had to directly contact the company from which I purchased my furniture and have them do the repair. They claim they have “no control” over their scheduling system, which is just plum ridiculous.I tried for over a month to schedule a repair service with AHM after very clearly conveying my availability during their business hours. Twice the repair crew showed up when I explicitly said I would be at work, and on at least 4 occasions I was assured a note was made on my account and that someone would follow up via phone. Never happened, and it has now been almost 3 months.When I finally got a manager on the phone he blamed me for not having better availability and (again) blamed their lack of control over the scheduling system. For a business claiming to be all about customer service, I have been severely unimpressed.

Unfortunately I didn’t get exactly what I expected. The initial upholsterey work on my sofa and loveseat was very good. However, since one end of the sofa was sagging, they retied the springs and even added webbing. But I really cannot tell the difference. The front of the sofa still has a noticeable bulge just as before. However, thankfully they were thoughtful enough to offer a solution and the situation has now been corrected to my satisfaction.Update 1/20/19Unfortunately they have yet to follow up with the solution which they offered me several weeks ago. Numerous attempts to contact them have been unsuccessful. Maybe they just forgot.

AHM did such a wonderful job repairing and refinishing my grandmother’s wardrobe. It was literally in pieces when they picked it up.In total they had the piece about 2 months.The only issue I encountered at all was that no one contacted me to get my approval for the quote and I did not realize I needed to approve the quote before they could start work on the piece. It was a small miscommunication that was worked through and handled professionally.They made it easy for me to pick out the stain color and scheduling the pick up and delivery was a breeze.When the finished wardrobe was delivered to my house the delivery guys took extra care to not harm my floors and they even helped me move some furniture so that the placement of the wardrobe would be perfect.We will use them again!

AHM killed it! The technician that came was on time and was able to replace the chair piston in Little to no time. So pleased with the work. $85 to save a $1000 chair. Muy bueno!

On June 26, 2018, my sofa was picked up by AHM furniture for redying of seat cushions. I was promised 7-10 business days for the repair to be complete and was promised that I would receive photographic evidence via email of the repairs being done to ensure that the dye job was acceptable. I did not hear from the company so on July 5, I called to check on the status of my sofa. I was reassured that everything was going fine and that my sofa would be returned on July 12. On July 12, I called to check on the delivery time and was told that my couch was not ready and would be delivered on July 13. On July 13, I was told that no work had been started on my sofa prior to July 12 and that it was not ready. I was told that it might be dry enough to deliver on July 14 and that they would call to let me know. I did not receive a call on the 14th but received a call on the 16th stating that my sofa was ready for delivery. When the sofa was delivered, it was not the correct color and not at all the quality of work that I was assured would be done on my sofa. I was told there would be no problem matching the existing chairs since this was a matching set (of a sofa and 2 chairs) but the sofa was not the correct color - in fact, it was 3 shades darker and felt very grainy. I expressed my displeasure with the delivery drivers. I also expressed my disappointment in the workmanship of the office manager whom I had to call to receive an updated invoice. I paid the repair fee even though I was not satisfied with the work that was done. I was told the sofa was safe to sit on right away however I did not sit on the sofa until the next day, July 17. After sitting on the sofa, there were immediate cracks in the dye on the cushions as well as chunks of dye that flaked off of the sofa. On July 18, I called and spoke with the owner of the company who agreed to give a refund after seeing pictures of the damage. He called the repair strange and said that he thought it was best that we part ways. The sofa continued to deteriorate and the refund had not been issued so I called to speak with the owner again on July 25. He stated that he had no control over when the refund was going to be issued and hung up the phone on me. I called again on July 27 to ask for the name of his insurance company to file a claim because the sofa has continued to decline in appearance and the refund still had not been issued. The owner again hung up the phone on me.

I sent my wife baby chair to get refinished it was in very bad shape for my wifes baby shower i didnt think it can be done when i went to get the chair i was amazed at how it looked it was a brand new chair i definitely recommend anyone trying to get furniture restored to give them a call thank you very much my wife is so happy

This experience has been a horrible one. Not organized at all. I have been trying to get fruniture repairs since before the new year. They straight up did a No Call No show on me. After waiting 2 hours for them. When i called to ask what happened, they tried to blame it on a Glitch and said i was not on the schedule. But I had confirmed a time with the automated mesaage the night before. And they tried to make me wait a whole nother week! After talking to the manager he said they could pick up fruniture the following morning at 8am. Well, they were late for that too .About 2 hours late to pick it up. So now that they finally have the fruniture I called for an estimated time to finish. The lady said she was not sure and would call me back. I did not get the call back. I waited ONE week to call them and they said they would deliver it the following week. Here we are again, waiting for someone .Drop off time was from 12:30-2:30 so I called them at 2pm because no one had shown up yet .Then they tell me, the guys are running behind .They wont shop till 3:20!! A whole nother hour! So here i am, waiting again and the click hits 3:30 and still no one has shown up. So i call again, now they are telling me that the guys are still30 minutes away!!!! So a 12:30-2:30 window has turned into a after 4:00 delivery .And mind you, I am the ones calling them .Not the other way around . if I would have not called, they would have been a No Call No Show again .Just plain HORRIBLE! No respect for the time of others, and not even have common courtesy to say they are running behind .I will NEVERRRR use them again .The best part about this is that i will never have to deal with this company again .

Company put me through the ringer for months claiming that they couldnt repair my couch that was within warranty because they dont repair that part of the couch. I was sent to two other companies who all pointed me back to AHM, and they refused to do their jobs until I spoke to the district manager to force them to actually do their job. Their customer service reps never pick up the phone, and they never return voicemails. If by some miracle they do return voicemails, they will be sure to return them only within the specific hours that you instruct them that you cannot pick up the phone.If I could rate this company 0 stars, I would. Avoid at all costs, if possible.

Adam & MacKenzie Osborn did a fabulous job of transforming our two sofas (very nice leather) by repairing the seat support, re-padding the back and seat cushions, cleaning and conditioning, and spray painting scratches to exactly match the leather! We look forward to many years of comfort and beauty with our sofas.

Not sure how this company got such good reviews online, but it certainly cant be for their customer service! I had a horrible experience just trying to get them to work on my leather couch after my house flooded, and at the end of the day, we didnt even use them.I wasted several weeks waiting on them to fit me into their busy schedule, and even when they did come out, they didnt do the work because their head supervisor said that what they told him to do, was not sufficient to take care of the problem. They messed up the scheduling more than once, and after he said it needed to be picked up (not repaired at my home), they called back with an estimate 5X what they quoted me over the phone. Plus, they tried to charge me over $150 just for looking at the couch, which I was later told was a mistake, as that is what they charge people for whole home estimates, not single pieces of furniture.I cant speak to the quality of their work, but after speaking on the phone with multiple employees/owners of AHM, I can confidently say, I have never felt so insulted and disrespected by a company before, and would hope that this is not common practice for them. Im sorry if my one piece of furniture is not profitable enough for you to respectfully handle me as a customer, but if that was the case, I wouldve appreciated you saying, sorry, were too busy! right away, and saved me the hassle/irritation. Couldnt be more disappointed in my experience with this company!

AHM has a Wonderful team which helped us in putting our home back in order after Horrible Harvey hit. They did a wide variety of jobs, restained whitewatch distressed Kincaid wooden chairs, repaired Drexel Heritage dining room table leaves, stripped down living room chairs and then rebuilt and restained them. Lastly they reworked the design of a king size bed footboard to better suit our needs. Overall they were professional and extremely fair priced. The jobs were done in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend AHM should you have a precious piece needing repaired.

I have had multiple visit for the same issue multiple times now. Today they told me that a tech will be over from 8 to 10, at 10:30 when I called, I was told that it will 11:30 now. At 12:30, after I reached out, I was told that tech will no longer be coming over. This is ridiculous! I wish I can do -ve stars.

We had nearly given up hope for our unique Bernhardt sectional found on craigslist, and then ruined by our rowdy kids. One quick call to AHS and the sun came out! AHS makes the process very easy: Take a picture of the damage, and send it to them in an email with a description of what you want fixed. Within 24 hours you will have an estimate, including pick up and delivery if you so desire. We found the estimate to be very fair, and in a couple of weeks we had our sofa back in like new condition. AHS went above and beyond for our business, and they will for you too.

I am not easily pleased especially by technicians who claim to be professional tradesmen and then deliver lackluster results. Okay -- so I am a stark, raving-mad perfectionist! When I learned that the Gallery Furniture outlets availed themselves to the wooden furniture repair services offered by AHM -- I knew I was on the right track! A Timberlake coffee table that we had purchased at Gallery Furniture over a decade ago had been recently damaged by a contractor who was nothing less than a bull in a china shop. AHMs Juan was dispatched to my home to repair the coffee table and he forewarned me that once the coffee table was repaired, I would still be able to see where the damage had been done. JUAN LIED!! After Juan performed his magic -- I could not tell where the damaged had been done and again -- I am a perfectionist! Juan is great and so is the AHM back-office (Jeanette and Rebecca)!

My experience until now is very bad, after a month nobody give a solution to repair a drawer, I did all the steps, picture, explanation, etc after that I received the amount that i need to pay and i say yes, the guy who coming here ( after other week) said he doesnt have any information, he need to buy the piece and he never know when he or other person can to be here, finally no fix any, When I call nobody give any solution, looking for a serious place to fix our drawer.Really ridiculous and disappointing with.Not start.
