Fantastic magic/witch shop in the Montrose area! Everything from crystals to hand-bound books to witch brooms to cauldrons to melee weapons of both the real and fantasy variety. Dogs are large, cute, friendly, and wander the shop sometimes. Cauldrons, magic-related books, essential oils, deity statuettes, crystal jewelry and more!

A very calm and inviting store selling crystals, herbs, books on religion and spirituality, and statues featuring dragons, gods and goddesses, and mythological figures. Theres an entire wall of swords behind the counter, take that for what you will.

Staff is polite friendly but not too much. They let you browse uninterrupted unless you look like you need something. There are A LOT of cool and fascinating items in the store from candles, herbs, stones, crystals, books and so much more. Prices are a little steep on some items though for my budget. However, I will definitely go back

This is the first time Ive ever been to a store like this and it was the most fun thing Ive done in awhile! Everyone there was so friendly and sweet, not just the employees but I even had a great time talking to the other customers. So much positive energy there!Brian answered my incessant questions patiently, educated me on anything I was interested in, and showed me a couple books that Im really enjoying. Im definitely supporting this place exclusively from now on and you should too!

Very helpful and friendly staff. A homeless man had come in the shop and was serenading the customers and staff when I was there. They treated him as well as they did the other customers. Ok first, the dogs....love! The store was great. A lot of variety for purchases. Everyone was really helpful especially the owner. He took time with customers providing information about different items. He told customers that if an oil wasnt available to let him know because they were pouring. Most business owners tell you if its not there, we dont have it. I was really impressed and felt that customers were valued here. I would recommend!

Went to buy some new crystals, let with nothing!!! Let me tell you why... disrespectful and rude. Huge negative energy. We walked in and they did not speak to us. They spoke to everyone else, with a warm welcome. When we were walking around the store they were just staring us. The guy behind the counter with the black hair was looking dead at me and I felt him looking at me, I looked up and said “hello, how are you?” - he still didn’t speak. Let me just add Matt, who is the store manager is very helpful and nice. A new cashier with better energy would help this store a lot. The only person that spoke when we walked in was the women behind the jewelry counter and I had to speak first. When I walked up to the counter, she said, “I’ll take something out if you want” I refuse to buy new crystals from such a negative environment. Never going back, I’ve been there 5 times and that has never happened before. The times I’ve gone I did purchase items. Stay away!!

I was so nervous, but Dina made me feel very comfortable. She help me find all that I needed and explained significance of all I was obtaining. Im probably not hippy enough to give a informative review but from a common peasant that checked this out for the first time this place is amazing. Assortment of incense (whole reason we went there) jewelry is amazing and didnt feel over priced. Plenty of cool collectibles, i felt like i was in an episode of supernatural and Babys trunk was on display. Great staff, helpful and friendly. Even have more pop culture things like thors hammer and the infinity gauntlet. Will be back.

Cool little metaphysical store in the heart of Montrose. Came here to get Sage to smudge my living quarters . Lots of books and crystals as well, including many other magical pieces of items .

Ive come seeking Hermetic Wisdom. That was the first and only thing I needed to say for Luke to bring me around the store and show me exactly what I was looking for. I stayed for more than a couple hours talking to him and Matt about the history of magick 🧙‍♂️ and the context of modern movements in esoteric thought ⚕️ as informed by ancient tradition📜. Theyve read so many of the texts in the shop that they knew exactly where I was coming from and where I needed to go 📑. I HIGHLY recommend a visit to this shop for serious practitioners, and yet they offered respectful, well informed advice to several other customers on tarot, resins, blades, candle work, with happy customers buying what they needed at the end of each exchange. I walked away with a number of incredibly high quality texts. 10/10!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have been many times over the years including always stopping by their ren fair shop. Im always recommending them to my own customers as well. Please dont pay attention to negative reviews. People always have their own agenda behind being negative and it shouldnt reflect the overall experience. I find it funny that some are complaining about employees not wearing masks. First of all now that there is no mandate a private business is allowed to make the decisions for themselves and sorry they shouldnt have to pander to fear mongering leftists who want to control others. They are inclusive to every demographic sorry to burst the bubble to the people who constantly want to be victims. Go support this awesome shop.

I like this place...it needs more ethnic statues of people of color. But I enjoyed my shopping experience there. I purchased an hematite ring attracted me to it because it was so full of energy, amethyst stone, sage stick, and more.

It was my first going there and I had a great experience there, and although it can get busy the employees still take time out to help you and answer questions. Thats quality customer service. The store is pretty cool too. I look forward to shopping there again!

Definitely a good spot to grab essentials for your practice. Seems they have a new crew working and it was a pleasant and friendly experience. The dogs they have inside seem to know something we dont. They are very chill and add to the experience. The employees are knowledgeable and you can tell they actually use the things they sell. This is my go to spot.

Matt the store manager is very helpful but they need to find a new cashier. His energy is way off. I recommend asking for Matt if you visit this store.

They sell the herbs lavender mullein etc their in jars. Self serve. You weigh them on the scale. Some of the herbs are molded though. I spent about 7$.

I have NEVER been greeted while walking in, & today was no exception. The owner/manager just looked at me as I entered, didn’t say a word, but they greeted every person that walked in after me. I spent around 30 mins looking around, & noticed everyone was greeted except me. Mmk weird, but whatever. Maybe I’m just not their targeted demographic? But every time I’ve gone, I spent money with them so they should really learn to be more open/friendly.I’ve been to other shops, & honestly the Magick Cauldron is more expensive (maybe $5-$10 more on their selection, not a big deal if you live near by, but I don’t). Their tumbled crystals are extremely small, & they don’t have that great or big of a selection vs other shops.They do have a huge selection on herbs if you’re into that kind of stuff as well as books on various subject matters. So props to them on that. I also enjoyed the 2 dogs laying around the shop.Overall, it’s not the best shop. If you live near by, cool. But I’m no longer driving out of my way to shop here. Staff is extremely unwelcoming, unfriendly, & they talk poorly about previous customers that were just in the store which I don’t care to listen to when I’m trying to shop. Have that conversation/vent in private.

A good experience but not amazing. Everyone is relatively quiet and you can shop in peace. Meta items but not very spiritual. Lots of cool books, figurines, herbs, oils, incense, and candles. Two cute dogs to pet as well! However! Despite it saying masks required, the owner is there with no mask, which is pretty much my only complaint. Makes me not want to return for that reason alone, otherwise a cool place.

Great selection of Natural and polished crystals. Excellent book selection and essential oils. Love the many rings they have and wide variety of tarot and oracle xards.

Really, really bad energy. Not friendly staff. Nothing for the most part that you couldnt buy from an independent practitioner on etsy, etc. Im usually one to be hands on for these purchases but Id never recommend this place. Crystals are cleary cheap and questionable.

The store is as i remember from when I was in high school and i used to go with my high school friends on the weekends. We would spend hours in the store reading the different spell books and looking at all the unique items. Well, it hasnt changed much and that is a good thing. My wife and I stopped in on Saturday to pick up some dragons. And I ended up spending the better portion of the day just browsing and talking to the owners. They are very friendly and customer oriented; NOT in a big rush to get you out and i didnt feel like a bother with all my questions. The owners and employees are all more than helpful with a warm smile. Ill be taking my own college daughter in soon. Thanks so much for still being around 25yrs later

Its an okay place. They do have a large selection of books, but most of their crystals and stones are sooo over priced. They have a large selection of herbs but you can find many of those at an herbal shop for half the price. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful and can definitely answer any questions a person may ask about the craft.
