I can not give enough praise, for the incredible work St. Marks Restoration did on my damaged art work. I realized months after Hurricane Harvey that one of my original paintings on paper had mold damage due to roof damage our home sustained. The mold had rapidly spread through the paper and the mat and I had little hope that it could be saved.I did not think it was possible to restore the piece to such perfection, as the paper is so thin and the mold was all around the image (painted in water color). When I picked my piece up after completion, the restoration exceeded every expectation.Mercede is a joy to work with; and I am so thankful for the artistry and precision she and her team offer.

Took my grandfather to get a few pieces he had checked out .. the owner was so personable ... she treated us like family ... not only did she help tremendously she was very hospitable and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Saint Mark!

St. Mark’s is the place where arts and sciences come together to restore past artistic expressions to their near original appearance. Many of their restorations are breathtaking and similar to the work on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel where hundreds of years of candle smoke deposit was carefully removed so that the viewer can see what the artist saw when the work was first created. Whether oil, stone, bronze or other formats these folks are experts and their work is scientifically based and bent toward preserving art for the enrichment of the generations to come.

My grandmothers early 19th century rococo painting was torn, and Mercedes lovingly restored the piece to perfection. You cant tell that there was ever a rip. I had her do some gold leaf touches on the frame that she recommended, and it looks better than ever. Price very reasonable...this is now my go to place for art restoration!!
