Great selection of Filipino goods. They have fresh island style longaniza. Made it for breakfast this morning nice grind and good solid chunks of meat and fat like a traditional sausage should have. The people working their were very friendly and helped in whatever way possible.
I like to shop in this store, but what irritates me is this aging lady cashier, I have been very patient and considerate with her knowing that she is an elderly but this behavior of hers been repetitive and abusive to the customers . She shows no manners, rude and very sarcastic to her customers. I dont care if shes the mother of the owner but she should learn how to talk nicely to her customers when being ask for help or ask about the product we are buying. I hope she just stay home and watch TFC / GMA to relax herself not work too hard and being grumpy all day . She has to move out of being a cashier so she would not create negativity in the environment and not to put negative feelings to the customers as well.
Ive been buying these packs of spicy noodles from them for $6 and some change and it went up to over $10. Ridiculous...
The prices here are phenomenal. We get a lot of our food from here and save a ton on monthly grocery expenses
They have a good product selection but they are quite expensive.
Manila Minimart is an amazingly tiny Filipino grocery store that sells low end Filipino products in downtown Houston. Whats more amazing was how one of the aging cashiers ridiculed the kind of fish that I was buying as reject and would rather not consume it. She added that only poor folks would consume this kind of fish in her province Capiz. Why would the store sell rejects in the first place? I hope that entrepreneurs and managers of these kind of stores would provide sensitivity training to their staff before releasing them into the frontline. The incident happened on October 12, 2018.
Great market with tons of snacks and ingredients! Went in looking for ube products and was not disappointed
I buy a sack of rice and it’s full of ant 🐜 inside the bag
For a box 12 pieces of San Miguel it is 27 dollars (expensive) then the lady at checkout was rude no good the customer service
They sell a small amount of unique Filipino products.Example: Ketchup Pik Nik or popping seaweed.Small store has tons of snacks. I wouldnt come here to do daily groceries but for missing seasonings. Nice place to stop in after Pugon De Manila, Jollibee, and Red Ribbon.I was happy there was Filpino Grocery store because I wanted to understand the culture and food of my boyfriends heritage.Prices are reasonable because of the lack of competition and rarity of some products. (Soon to be change because of the Cherry Foodrama Grocery)Dont come here if you expect to be greeted or come out feeling like youve made well-done purchase. The entire atmosphere and check-out process was quiet and cold. Probably good for those that dont enjoy talking to other people.
Ever time in Houston a 100%%% must stop shop, well stocked ////super helpfully staff plus next to Jollibee and Red Ribbon......yes Please......
It’s a small Filipino grocery store, but you’ll find a variety of items for cooking or snacking. Workers are friendly, helpful, and work conscientiously (Oscar packed our bottled sauces so well). They scan your purchases and give you an itemized receipt printed out from their computerized cash register. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a trip to see what they have. They are located in a strip mall where Jollibee, Red Ribbon, and Pugon de Manila are so you can enjoy some Filipino food after shopping.
Great Philippino food in the little cafeteria.
They change their name to Cherry Foodrama and its next door
Nice place to get all filipino ingredients
Excellent selection and service. 3 types of longanissa sausage!!!
This place stinks a tiny bit but has great filipino content
Small store where you can find common Asian goods especially Filipino goods.
Its a tiny shop with a lot of imported items. They dont really have a useful variety of produce, but if youre looking for Filipino treats or items, this is where you go.
Plenty selection of Filipino grocers. Wish they have Magnolia ice cream though.
They had what I wanted.
Little expensive, however their items in the store are hard or even impossible to find else where.
Man, the lady up front was dang ornery.
The phone number is incorrect.
Hard to find items
Clean store
