I recently visited smart motors to purchase a car (keep in mind I was not sure what make and mdoel). I was attended to by the son of the owner. He was very good and his customer service is awesome, he helped me make a choice based on my budget. He then took us to his dad (the owner) who took us through the unsure place and helped us further confident in the car we choose. Mr Tarif said something very profound the next day when we wanted to balance he said and I quote I sell cars but satisfaction and confident in your transaction with smart motors is key to him. He helped me save a lot of money on body works and repair. A very nice man to the core. Hes a man who values customer satisfaction and relationship. He also gave my husband pointers on other passion they both share. I call him dad now and Im very proud of smart motors and will recommend his service to all asunder.

Bought a car a few months ago, and so far minor issues. You need to know up front that when you buy a car here, youre usually gonna need to do some work on it. I would HIGHLY recommend you get a mechanic to look at the car before you purchase.My car, for instance, was in a major accident where the air bags deployed. Getting air bags reinstalled is a huge cost, but he was up front about that. The body damage was also told to us (it was plainly visible) and he also stated the battery had been stolen off the lot. The passenger side seat belt had locked up from the accident so that needed to be repaired too. I have fixed all of these things and it still turned out to be a GREAT deal considering what I got.The one thing I take issue with is that when I asked if he checked what other things were wrong with the car (other than what was already mentioned) he said he didnt know. If he is selling these cars, even if they need repairs he should at least know what all needs to be fixed. Ive had my mechanic look at it and everything seems to be fine (aside from the air bags), but it doesnt excuse the fact that as a business owner he should have a more detailed idea of whats wrong with the cars hes selling and how he arrived at that selling price.That being said, my car has been a great deal so far so I wont hold it against him too much. No harm no foul. I would recommend taking a look at Smart Motors if youre on a tight budget but dont want a car with a million miles on the engine. The car buying experience was overall pleasant and he wasnt too pushy. He disclosed everything that needed fixing and Ive put about 1,500 miles on it with no further issues.

The owner and his sons greet you with a smile and the deals are right. I just bought my second car from him in 2 years. I plan on coming back because he is honest and his prices are right.

Excellent place to get a car. I got a really good car for a fantastic price. They are good people to talk to, and they share with you all the history the car had in the pass. Nothing is ignored, you get all the details. I would highly recommend this place.

I have bought three cars from Smart Motors over the past 5 years, 2007 Mazda 3, 2007 Ford F 150 and a 2011 Mazda 3. All of these cars have turned out great. I spent some money on them after the purchase, but still came out saving around 40% over buying them from a regular car dealer. They showed me the pictures of the car as it was when they got it, plus showed me the list of parts they purchased for the car. They have not hidden anything from me. I know up front that the car has a salvage title, but I plan on keeping these cars for a long time.

I bought my Toyota Matrix here. I completely loved it! I had an outstanding experience. I shopped online, Craigslist, AutoTrader and in person for 4 months before choosing a car at Smart Motors. Their price and thorough description of the car’s history really attracted me. My car had under 25,000 miles, looked and drove like new. When I later wrecked the car, my insurance company gave me more than I had paid for the car five years and 35,0000 miles earlier! When I came to test drive vehicles, new car dealerships (Mac Haik and Tommie Vaughan) had reps buying cars here to sell on their lots. Very honest, upfront owner. He tells you what other used car dealerships will not. This is my first stop when looking for a car.
