I have been to this location several times even though I live in Missouri City Texas I still make the trip to this location to service my car. The manager Mr. Turner is always pleasant and answers my questions. I have never had a problem with the service I receive. I have no qualms recommending this Meineke to others.

I cannot say enough good things about the service I received. Polite, professional, speedy service and good prices too. I brought my car in for a brake flush. Their price was much cheaper than what the dealership quoted. I also mentioned that I had a tire that sounded like the wheel was rubbing against something. They flushed the brakes, took the wheel off and looked for any issues. They couldn’t see anything so they put the wheel back on and drove it around. They called and said they couldn’t hear the sound anymore but if I heard it again to please bring it back. I’m delighted to say the problem was fixed! I highly recommend this shop.

I was greeted as soon as I walked into the office. The gentleman were nice and friendly. They were able to assist me right away. The wait time was sufficient. I liked how one of the gentleman turned the station from fishing to a more sutible channel for me. I was very pleased with the overall outcome. I will return.

Not to make this review long. BEST service ever had. Extremely quick, despite not knowing what the problem exactly was with my car. Super friendly. Justin told me to sit tight while they fix it, but when I went to see them work, he walked me through the test, and what were the potential solutions. Surprisingly cheep. I did not expect the price for the problem I had. Total time spent there was 30 min at most.Details. 2013 Car AC was blowing hot air. Tested the freon, and there was no problem there. Justin suggested that the problem was electrical. He then checked the fuse box and messed around there, and it worked!

I set an appointment for 8 AM. Got here at 8 AM on the dot.No one was here. Sat there for a few. Looked around and the grass is overgrown. There is trash everywhere. The shop looks dirty. I decide to Google somewhere else to go for my services. Midas was not far.Guy rolls in to open shop at 8:11 AM. Just one guy who does not look ready for work and decided stopping for coffee and breakfast was more important than getting to work on time. No thank you. There are too many comps in the area to do your job poorly, guys

Ive had two experiences with this shop, one good and one so bad that Im lucky to be alive. I drive a 1998 Ford Explorer, which I realize is an old car, but it only has ~110k miles on it. A few months ago my radiator needed to be replaced, which they were able to do relatively quickly and cheaply. Last week a cylinder misfire code come up and I decided to have it fixed here due to my earlier experience. The mechanic at this Meineke diagnosed to be a fuel injector issue (my spark plugs and ignition coil had been replaced within the last year). I dropped my car off Monday morning and only got it back at close of business Thursday. The mechanic claimed the engine ran worse after they replaced two of the fuel injectors, so they were trying to figure out the problem. Total cost about $570.The day after I got my car back I drove to a small town about 150 miles away for a wedding. Along the way I discovered that it was becoming harder and harder to get good acceleration, and after I parked I noticed a slight smell of gasoline. That Saturday, the smell of gas got worse, and I went through 8 gallons of gas driving 30 miles. I took a look under the hood and discovered GAS SQUIRTING OUT from somewhere, a major fire/explosion hazard! I was able to get a tow to a Firestone in that small town where they discovered that 3 O-ring seals on the fuel injectors AND one of the fuel injectors that had been replaced was missing the nozzle on the end, not sealing either! I have no idea what the Meineke technician thought they were trying to do when they mucked around with my car, but this leakage was clearly due to the work done at Meineke. I was lucky that the Firestone was able to fix this, otherwise I would have been stuck 150 miles away from home overnight at least.Needless to say, I went back to Meineke on Monday to demand a refund and got a runaround about how the location owner has to approve all refunds. Its been five days and not a peep. Dont go here, theyre dangerously negligent. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I purchased my own brake parts and a few weeks ago Mitch (the manager) told me it would be 80 bucks to install. He is a man of integrity and still honored the price he quoted me despite Larry needing double the time. He required this allocation of time because he properly installed my rotors and pads unlike many Ive seen. Very thorough from cleaning all the new parts, wire brushing all the existing parts to lubricating all the parts needed. The brake system needed extra love during the bleeding process. He explained how to bed the brakes properly. Larry is fantastic with brakes.

Great service! Manager was very helpful and knowledgeable on my car and the repairs required. Helped me patch a radiator leak and gave me excellent car tips for the future. Im not from Houston and had to get a quick fix to be able to get home to Austin but I would definitely use them again if I was in the area.

I would have given 5 stars but I feel that there is always room for improvement and betterment . I had a wonderful experience, went in 5 minutes before closing for an oil change and Jim the manager took care of me. I mentioned that I will not be in TX the next day to come in and this gentleman did not let me go without getting my car serviced and oil changed. Very nice, professional and genuine is how I would describe Jim.I thank you.

Let me start by saying that I was blown away by the service and knowledge of this shop it might not look like much but dont judge a book by its cover as we all know.I have several cars that I keep maintained through a shop that recently went out of business 😞 so I decided to give this Meineke a shotJT ( the shop manager ) was extremely professional knowledgeable and courteous my 2010 Expedition which I brought in for AC repair which was addressed very promptly and with honestythe price was incredible compared to other quotes I got from nearby shops and the most important thing is it was done right the first time I will definitely continue doing business with this location I would like to thank JT for his professionalism so thank youyouve earned a new customer 👍

After replacing both front lower and upper control arms on my car at a different place, I needed to get a alignment done. So I did,and now my car is pulling to the right which it wasnt doing before the alignment so coming back today to get it redone, hopefully it gets done correctly!!

I had an alignment. Justin was friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. I recommend them highly. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the asphalt parking area. But I think that is above the local control. I will return for future needs.

My alternator went out while heading to work and pulled in here. At first I thought they did a good job, $550 and two hour wait. A week later I hear a belt squeaking under my hood. The next day I am driving home and my truck starts overheating and all the lights on my dashboard are came on. Luckily I was close to home and was able to get my truck to my mechanic. The Serpentine belt broke and got tangled up in my fan because it had been put back on wrong. My mechanic told me he charges $250 - $300 to replace an alternator. I was overcharged and it ended up costing me extra to get repairs due to their negligence.

Made an appointment at 8am to fix my muffler. No one was in the shop or showed up to open in the morning. They advertised that they open at 8 AND took an appointment for 8am. We waited until 8:45 before finally going to the Midas down the road and getting my car fixed.Will not be wasting time with Meineke in the future.

I was in town for work and had an issue with my exhaust pipe hitting my hitch. Took it in and was quickly fixed up. A permanent fix would have required hours of work that I didn’t have. Bruce had a simple fix that took care of the problem until I got home. Thanks for the quick help for a visitor to Houston!

I have my serious reservations about this place, specifically if you want to get your wheel alignments done.First off, this is not the digital 4-wheel alignment, and secondly, not all issues get fixed in one visit. I had to take my vehicle to another business to get the job done correctly.If you absolutely have to get your alignments done here, Id recommend that you ask for the printed report upfront, so the job gets done correctly.The business is single handedly operated by one person and hes completely over-worked.

I went to this location for my brakes and was charge 180.00 plus my parts. Went back 3 days later because they still was not fix and had to pay 393.00 and was told that would fix the problem that still did not fix the brakes. I had all kind of lights come on that was not on at first but the manager told me he did not know why and he didnt care. I went back on 2/11/2019 and had my brake system bleed because the manager said that would fix the problem that didnt help he said it will cost 1000.00 more dollar to fix the problem I didnt believe him. I took my truck somewhere else and they found out what the problem was and it only cost 49.00 and now my brakes are working. They just wanted me too keep spending money and they really didnt try to find out what was wrong with my brakes.. Do not go there bad service.

I took my Land Rover LR4 to get the brake pads replaced because my brake light sensor came on. Mitch, the manager gave me a quote over the phone that it would cost more since there were sensors on them. I didnt pick up the car the day I dropped it off because they needed to find the brake pads with sensors and by the time they were delivered it was at the end of the day so I said I could get it the next day before leaving town.I paid $400 for what I thought was for brake pads with sensors for the front and back. When I picked up my car I noticed the brake pad sensor light was still on, but I didnt bother going back inside since I was on my way out of town and I would be dropping my car off at Land Rover for maintenance so I would ask them to reset the light (big mistake... I should have turned back around!)When I dropped my car off at Land Rover they told me that the sensors had not been replaced because the original Land Rover ones were still on there. I paid $280 to get the sensors done properly.I called Mitch the day I got back in town to let him know what had happen. He said the sensors were done, but to come by the store so he could see.Well, his attitude changed quickly after realizing the sensors I showed him had Land Rover on them so it proved he did not change the sensors as I thought. He then said he didnt change the sensors because I didnt tell him to.Wow, this was a first... to have a car place not try to make more money off you?!! I expect an experienced person who is taking car of my car to tell me what I need, so to tell me he didnt change the sensors because I did not tell him to is not ok!To me, Mitch was not being honest and lied about the service that was done. He is now saying he did not put sensors on which makes me question what did he do with the wiring from the car thats suppose to be attached to the brake pad sensor? He said the brake pad sensor light was not on when they were done with the car, but how could the light not be on if they didnt re-connect the wiring?I am very disappointed as well as upset that I had to pay an additional $280 to Land Rover when I thought the $400 I paid to Meineke was for brake pads with sensors.To Mitch, shame on you for being a dishonest business person and representing Meineke the way you do because I will never do business with you and will definitely spread the negative service I received.

The technicians were respectful in that they shared their findings with me after inspecting my muffler for the rattling noise that it kept making, and they gave me their opinion before quickly resolving the issue. I did not feel pressure to spend money on items or services that were not necessary for my car at the time of my appointment, which is a quality that I appreciate in auto technicians.I will most certainly return to this Meineke store for any future car issues!

Customer service was rude and unhelpful. It took 2hr+ for an alignment and tire rotation with no other customers present. Studs were damaged and vehicle needed aligned again. I was charged for the repairs. I called customer service line, who were clearly interested in protecting the brand, not ensuring the work was done well or correctly. The customer service line lets the shop decided if the work was done correctly to mediate any dispute with customer - BUYER BEWARE. Also, main door was locked during business hours so employees could watch Netflix in the waiting area.

Very poor experience. I was told my synthetic oil change was going to cost $37, which is reasonable considering a normal oil change was quoted at $29.99. After finishing my oil change, the location charged over $100 for my oil change. The technician claimed he had told me the original price of $100 which is not true. The only reason I received is that it was because I was using synthetic oil. I will never return to this location nor recommend it to anyone.

I brought my truck here to have a leveling kit installed. It took these guys 3 days to complete (estimate was 2hrs). When I got the truck back the kit wasn’t installed properly, the alignment was ruined, and they had cut off pieces of the front suspension that did not need to be done. I had to pay $400 to another shop to have the job done properly. When I contacted Meineke Corporate they said there was nothing they could do because this location was an independent owner and offered nothing to help the situation. BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION WITH YOUR VEHICLE.

Go elsewhere. I wouldnt call them rude, but definitely very unprofessional. Went in for oil change and I wont be coming back. The package deal was supposed to do brake check, fluid top off, tire pressure ect. Manager didnt communicate at all, I have no clue what they did.

I went to the Meineke shop on Kirby and had a very bad service. I brought my car for a 2pm appointment oil change on Friday and was told the car would be ready in 45 min. I came back 50 min later and found out they havent started the work. I was told they were short staff and I will have to reschedule. SMH. Why didnt they tell me this in the first place?? I will never go back to this shop again.

I had an electrical issue with my car Yesterday (05/13/14). This issue was reviewed and fixed in less than 1 hour (I had called them prior to going there to ensure a short wait time). They had a strong WiFi in their reception, so I was able to take care of some work while I waited.The staffs I interacted with was professional and clearly explained the issues and associated cost prior to taking any action. I felt that they were a little expensive but the work done was satisfactory. I will be recommending them to my friends.

Also, the prices arent bad, compared to other places that try to cheat you out of your money. Scheduled an appointment at 12:30 for a brake pad change. Was told it would take an hour to an hour and a half (which I thought was too long) because they had to order the part. Leave and come back around 4:00 expecting to pick up my car. Had to wait another hour and a half for my car which was no where to be found on site. PLEASE SHARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Took my infiniti G37 to the shop for replacement of lower control arm and shock for the rear driver side. Mitch stated that the car would be ready later that day if I paid and ordered the parts at that moment and I did. After 5 days of getting the run around (he said he got the wrong part twice- I personally think hes on something) my car is still not fix and I am not able to get any help from the store or corp. office. My car is still at the shop and Mitch is now refusing to fix it after pre-paying him almost $1000. The customer service is horrible.Trust me......RUN! DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I called in and I asked was it too late to come in to get the work done on my vehicle and to my surprise the manager Justin told me that it was never too late, come on in well take care of you .... Most of the other shops told me to wait until Monday So I went in and they did an excellent job on my Brembo brake and performance rotors set up ... I was very impressed with the work ... Mechanic was very, very rude. I dont know what happened to David, but I wouldnt bring my car back here unless he is here. I have brought my car here twice and both times Ive had to bring it back multiple times because it wasnt fixed right, something broke, or they didnt put all the parts back. I paid too much money for the type of work that I have had to get done. Never again!!!! Worst experience ever! I would not recommend this place for big jobs; I dont know about oil changes and brakes services though but DEFINITELY not major jobs!!!

Awful experience. The mechanic said it would take 2 hrs to fix ended up taking almost 6. Was too concerned about his baby mama drama and was quite vocal about it. Also, the repair done ended up needed another repair that I did through another company due to the lack of professionalism at this one. When I called the shop and asked if there was anything that could be done with my warranty since it was done at a different shop the owner Mitch got super confrontational and defensive and actually ended up hanging up on me. Still waiting for corporate to call me back with a resolution because this is UNACCEPTABLE. Will NEVER set foot in another store ever again and will strongly steer anyone away from this company.

Do not come here! These guys do not know what they are doing I came in because my ball joint was broken. I know this because another mechanic told me it was busted but I can here because I was more convieniant for me. Well I came one Saturday for them to look at my car and he said the ball joint was busted and to come in next Saturday to repair it so I And in the following week and they now say it’s not the ball joint it’s the lower control arm well I trusted them and guess what my car still shakes and I’m out $315!!!! I was so upset and I went back and now they said is the rotors BS! They would’ve seen that from the start they just took advantage from me! They are horrible and I will never come back again.

Brought my car in last week for diagnostic. Car was there for 10 hours. Employee told me he ran it and found out what was wrong and just give him 25$ under the table for diagnostic and he would have my car fixed for a certain price. Next day i brought my car in, not only after it was fixed did they alter the price by more than 100$ they told me it was more problems and they didn’t fully fix the problem. The car was there a total of 20 hours and i also learned a complete diagnostic was not run. Will never go to another Meineke in my life. Firestone was across the street, I brought my receipt to them and was pointed out a 250 labor charge for a 19$ part. They fixed the entire issue for half the price which i was charged. Be warned, just go to the firestone literally across the street

The worst experience ever! My driveshaft fell out in lane of traffic during rush hour after this Meinekes negligence of not placing it back correctly after replacing a carrier bearing. Had to get a tow, which I was never reimbursed for. They told me they would fix their mistakes, which they did not fix the cracked ABS module from the driveshaft falling out. Everyday for a week they told me the car would be ready at noon. I would have to take cab to be told it wasnt ready! I had to delay move and pay extra rent/electric up to another week. My expenses for that delay and getting a certified mechanic to fix Meinekes mistakes was over $2,000 on top of the $700+ I paid Meineke. I asked to speak to the owner and I was told that was not going to happen and was hung up on. I called corporate offices and was told this shop had an absentee owner, which is correct, b/c he never called me to discuss what happened. The worst and most negligent experience ever with a mechanic and shop!

Person who took the payment by card from me possibly stole my card details and my card was misused about 10 times within next few hours. I received a call from my card company about illegal activity on my card.When he took card from me, he put it in card machine and then went away to next room for a minute or two and returned back to my card to complete the transaction.

It was one of the worst experience I had in a mechanic shop. I had a coupon for alignment of 4-wheel for 48$ and when I got there the guy in the shop, James, made excuses that bc my car is Passat he charges 80$!! Then he told me if I bring it next Saturday 10am he just charge as coupon. I took it next Saturday and waited till 3 pm and he didnt do it and told me bring it back at the end of day!!!! Unbelievable!! I took it to the other branch at post oak and they finished it in 30 mins. Dont waist your time at this branch and do your self a favor and took it to other branches!!! Horrible person, first tried to rip me off and then didnt do his jobs. By the way he said he didnt do it and my car was moved to different spot in parking lot and saw black spot in my car, I bet he used my car!!!

I am veteran and took my car in for a Free oil change. My car is sitting at Tommie Vaughn ford due to their negligence, left the drain plug loose and dripped all of the oil out. this in turn locked up my engine. the bill for the engine is for about 6000.00 they sent a GM out who said that it was a mechanical issue (of course) and they werent held liable. I have statements from the dealership that state otherwise...horrible thing to do to a veteran.

I took my Honda car to this ripp off shop and thought, Dave was helping me with my car problem, Engine light was on, He sold me a Catalytic convertor, $400, and the Engine light was still on, I had to still end up taking the car to the Honda Dealer, with light on, telling me I didnt even need that, only needed a pedal censor, which cost another $500, so I was out of alot of money I didnt have, Thanks Dave and Meineke for a F***** up job on my Car....
