Reliable is as it’s name implies - reliable. I have had consistently good customer service and they have always responded quickly and courteously by phone or in person. Their services are fast, efficient, and offered at competitive fair prices. The last time I came they did a good job on my brake replacement. They have a very roomy waiting room, with model cars lining the top ledges below the skylight for kids to ooh and awe. Appreciate Brian and all that they do to serve this community with auto repair services.

Prompt, courteous, and professional. Didnt try to upsell me on unnecessary services, and although they are a busy shop, my vehicles repairs were done faster than I expected. Definitely see the difference with a AAA certified shop. Wouldve given 5 stars if they werent closed on Sundays! 😎

Told me 76 for an oil change and ended up paying 137, if u want to get charged double go to scam reliable

I have had many repairs done at this shop but neither me or my family will be coming here any longer. I brought my car in for an oil change and inspection on Thursday. The gentlemen who helped me told me that since my engine light was on they wouldn’t be able to do the inspection which is perfectly fine. They said they were too busy to take a look at the problem today but I could come back another time. Again, not a problem. I asked if Friday was okay and was told yes, I came back in the next morning when the shop opened and dropped off my car. I never heard anything back, I called for an update at 4:15 and was told that they had just stated 45 minutes ago and we’re still trying to work out the problem. When I didn’t here back by 5:30 I got a ride to the shop to check up on it.When I got there I asked for an update and was told that they’re still looking at it to determine the problem. I told the gentleman that I need my car back by today, and he disappeared. He came back and dropped the keys in my hand without saying a word, when I asked what’s going on he said that since I need my car back they can’t do anything for me. I left my car there from open until right before closing and you have absolutely nothing? It’s absolutely ridiculous that my car was there open until close and they had just started to look at it. He was very rude and I left immediately. I’m extremely upset, he had absolutely no customer service and didn’t even try to help me. I dropped my car off the second y’all opened and you treat me like I’m stupid because you’re about to close and my car isn’t done. I’m pretty sure that when I called and asked they hadn’t even started to look at it yet and that’s why it wasn’t done. My entire family will no longer be coming to this establishment if this is they way they treat customers.

Was referred by Discount Tire down the street for an alignment after they put on 4 new tires. Greeted professionally and received an appointment that worked. Brian took very good care of me. Will rerun when other service is needed. Awesome waiting room with big screen TV to keep you entertained while you wait. Clean and inviting. Also plenty of space to spread out and hand sanitizer placed around and available.

My husband and I have been going to this location for years. Even recommended them to neighbors, friends and family. My in-laws went to them on our recommendation. Never again. First of all, we miss Brian at the front desk. I think hes been promoted (well-deserved) but hubs and I are done with Matt and Tom. I stopped going in and would only send hubs to get repairs done after Tom made comments to me about what I was wearing while I was trying to discuss my car. This is why women hate going for car repairs...seriously. Its not a compliment, I came to discuss repairs, not how I look.This last time was the last straw. Hubs called to get a rough estimate on changing our fuel filter. Matt quoted $80/90 over the phone. Another shop quoted $100 do I said fine...Reliable is closer anyway. After a bunch of other discussion about possible wheel bearing replacements, we get the official quote. Now Matt says he quoted hubs $150 on the phone but itll just be $120. What?!? Matt says he never could have quoted it that low. Right, we just made up a random number and decided to take it where it would be more expensive. 🙄 But now we are stuck, because if we say no, were not doing the repair since you were dishonest, we will still have to pay for a diagnostic, which is almost as much. Decision was made to go ahead and let Reliable do the fuel filter, then found another HONEST mechanic to do the bearings and will never be back or provide future recommendations. Good luck to you. Brian always knew his stuff and gave honest quotes. Even if the repair was expensive, you felt like he took care of you. But these other two guys...no thanks.

A few days ago I went in to get my car checked out and dropped it off for them to look at it on a Friday about an hour an a half before they closed. I was having some clicking sound that I could also feel on my steering wheel. I had also asked for an oil change. All of this was indicated on the form that I was asked to fill out.The following day on Saturday about 2hrs before they closed, I gave them a call concerned that my car hadnt been worked on and I would potentially find out that nothing had been done when I went to pick it up. At the time of my call, there was no update on my car. This was followed up by a return call with news on my car.At this point, my experience thus far had been good.On Monday, I arrived to pick up my car to find out there was some confusion on the state of my car which I was a bit turned off about. Also the oil change that I had asked for in the form was not done and there was never any apology/acknowledgement given to me about why that wasnt done. To make the whole situation worse, I also was a bit turned off about my interaction with the gentleman who was checking me out.To summarize my experience, it was definitely less than average and frankly the customer service experience I received was found really lacking and needs to be addressed for other future encounters with the hope that no customer should have to experience this.

Went there to get a oil change & maintenance on my car. Staff was more than amazing, they gave me a ride home and also back to the shop to pick up my car when it was completed. This is also the first time I haven’t had to take my car back to the shop for the same problem. Reliable auto is highly recommended

A few months ago, I took my car in for an annual state vehicle inspection. I came in after work about 30 minute before closing. I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how nice and clean it was. However, I was more impressed by the staff’s professionalism and kindness. I was greatly surprised that it took less than 15 minutes for them to complete the inspection. The icing on the cake was that they gave me $7 off the inspection and recommended safe parks in my neighborhood where I can jog in. This place is great! Such great service and such great people! I highly recommend it!

Fair pricing, prompt attention, professional service, clean lobby. Its clear that the staff takes pride in their work. I had an engine installed in a week! The company Id initially taken my car to (Thunderbolt) held it for a month and hadnt started work, so I reached out to Matt and he took care of things the RIGHT way. My family will now use this shop exclusively for all our vehicle needs.

My daughters check engine light was on and we got taken by a mobile mechanic to do a diagnostic which was a complete waste. Came to Reliable and Matt at the front desk was very helpful. So far we have had a brake fluid flush done, today a full diagnostic with engine flush and oil change, will probably need more work but I feel comfortable with them doing the work, and dont feel like we will be taken for our money.

I have moved to Texas from Michigan about 5 years ago. My Dad has been my mechanic my whole life. The folks at Reliable make things so nice and easy. They are quick and friendly and know what they are talking about. What I really like about them is they can install customer provided parts. Brian is their main guy and hes just that. The main man. Hes always making sure everyone has what they need, no questions. I will be going there this weekend actually to get work done and cant wait to get my car back. Reliable = A+.

I have been taking my car to Reliable Auto Repair for years. Brian is knowledgeable and eager to help explain anything I dont understand. He is patient and always makes me feel comfortable that I am making the right decision. They have been more than willing to tell me if something wasnt critical and could wait until a later point when I was able to better prepare and budget for the repair.

I had a panel come from under my car that protects my engine. Stopped by there because theyre close to my Apt. I expected them to charge me some type of fee but they put it back on for free! I will come back, no doubt in my mind!!!!! The guy was very nice and polite and the shop and waiting area was nice and clean and just gave you an overall goof feeling.

Update. Once again they took very good care of my now newer 4-runner.Highly recommend using them.Tom and Mike both were great.!!!!!!!!!!They are just like their name is Reliable. They have done great work on my 4 runner as well as my husbands Doge pick up. Brian has never been rude to us if anything he goes above and beyond to help us. One night I left work about 5:15 my car was dead I had to get a jump to get home. My husband called Brian told him I was on my way but since I was not able to leave work on time since I had to find someone to jump my vehicle it could be almost 7 before I get there. I arrived right at 7 he had 3 guys waiting to help me. Replaced my battery in 10 mins with a much better battery (Interstate) then, my Toyota battery that I had. It was priced just right. Give them a try sure you will like doing business with them.

The service facilities are clean and well maintained. They have a nice sized A/C wait area with a TV that is convenient to get to. I ran into Reliable Auto Repair (family owned and operated by the way) by mistake and thought it was the Santa Ana body repair building, since they are in the same section. I was confused and instead of treating me like an idiot (which multiple shops have in the past), Matt guided me where I needed to be and was super helpful! He even answered all of my questions and spent time with me instead of rushing, even though I had no intention of doing same day repair/maintenance. When I was done next door, I ended up coming back for an oil change and asked them to take a look at my car and give me recommendations on what I may need. My oil change was quick. I was able to grab a bite at Churchs next door and they were done as soon as I was finishing up. He gave me an estimate for the work they recommended and left it at that. He did not try to force additional work on me today that is not needed, which is much appreciated. Matt went above and beyond and the rest of the staff are very friendly too! They have a big sign near the roadway, so you shouldnt miss them. They also give free estimates. Try them out. I guarantee you wont be disappointed!

Disclaimer: Im writing this review based on a phone conversation. I have not received services or been to the shop. I do not look to gain anything by this.After receiving the pricing from the dealership, I contacted the local Reliable Auto in hopes of saving a few hundred since its not the dealership. Definitely not the outcome I hoped, as i would have only saved ten bucks. The dealership priced me 970 to replace the timing belt on my vehicle, Reliable Auto ten less. Unfortunately that is out of my range and will have to make a trip out of town to the dealership the vehicle was purchased. As that dealership priced me 335 for labor, timing belt, and the two drive belts. I have certainly lost faith in repair shops and Houston dealerships.

I was going rate a good review until I realized I was that I was misinformed about my state inspection. Now when I got the paper the counter person DID not tell me I fail and what I needed to do. He informed about something else that did not relate to the issue. I also was not informed that fail or pass And I would still had to pay for my state inspection. I’m just not please on the customer service on information before the service and after the service. It just feel like the place just wanted my money.

Their prices are not too bad but what blows me away is their professionalism. Ive never found grease stains in my seats or on my door panels or steering wheel here. Service One automotive was going to charge me $900 saying that I needed to have my inner and outer tire rod ends replaced and I of course took it to reliable auto and Matt was like well let’s check it out first because you may only need an alignment. True enough, they were able to “fine tune” the problem like you would the strings on a guitar as the owner explained it to me so I could understand. My wife and I were referred to your establishment by a friend of mine. We brought our car in Thursday night and I was pleasantly surprised to have an answer and estimate in just a couple of hours. It did take a few days to get the parts need for the repair, but Brian was honest and direct about it. He also broke everything down in good detail. I have used this shop for car repairs on several occasions. My most recent visit was very disappointing. They found new work on my car beyond what I requested, and then after charging me for the work, did a poor job and I had to go to another shop and pay again for the same thing. Manager must be related to the owner, because he was very rude, and rude to other customers, as well. A real know-it-all.
