Very friendly staff and lots of natural earth/health friendly options. Highly recommend going in to learn about best things to get for your baby. Also have a lactation consultant, music and sign language classes upstairs. Overall fantastic place to go! They also sell the BEST most healthy mattresses (Naturepedic)!

Update: 3 years later and Im still a loyal customer! Sarah has the perfect personality for helping you feel comfortable every step of the way. She has everything from cloth diapers, car seats, clothing, dining, nursing, EVERYTHING. She is up to date with product knowledge and environmentally friendly items. It was such a blessing when a friend recommended her shop. I carry extra business cards in my pocket to pass out!

As a first time mom, the initial shopping trip for baby goods was one of the more overwhelming experiences Ive had even with all of the advice from friends and family. Pure Parenting was one of the very first stores I went into and felt so relieved. Staff gives you awesome advice and the products there are adorable, great quality and have so far proven to really make a difference as far as convenience. Love this store.

This is a wonderful store and resource especially if you live in the neighborhood (Heights, Greater Heights, Garden Oaks, Oak Forest). They have clothes, accessories, feeding stuff, toys, cloth diapers, baby carriers as well as as bi-monthly meet-ups for baby wearing, and resident lactation consultants. They even have a small playground outside. And youre supporting a local business. All in all very glad to have this as a resource, and close by.

I love The Pure Parenting Shop! It has everything I need for my child as shes growing. I especially love the non toxic food wares, cups, and snack containers! Sarah is very knowledgeable and makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable in her shop. I highly recommend this shop!

Not only did I snag an Onya carrier at the only place in town I could find that carried one, but she was a wealth of advice (as a mother and former teacher) for this mama dealing with a high energy kid in school. I needed cloth diapers and the store was under renovation. The owner went above and beyond and met me near by just so I could get the product I needed within an hour. Outstanding!I was also given valuable tips while these baby items are new to me.

Best place to get a baby shower gift or make a baby registry! They also have a super cute selection of clothes from sizes preemie-6T, and pjs and shoes and even cowboy boots! You will find stuff you didn’t even know you needed that will make your life as a parent easier, and many things made in Htown.They also have support groups (due date club, baby playgroups, lunch bunch) on Thursdays and every Friday is $3 craft time. Their Facebook page has the events and details. I think one of the best things about the shop is how friendly everyone is and that it is childproof. They are happy to hold or entertain your little one while you shop, and there are strategically placed toys around the rooms that are just for playing with (they also sell toys!); you don’t have to worry about your kid messing up anything.If you are looking for a baby gift (newborn-preschool aged) or if you’re going to have a baby, you definitely need to stop in and check it out. Sarah, the owner, is very knowledgeable and friendly, and everyone there is happy to help, even if it’s just to talk!

Oh my! I just love this place... Its right up my alley. Cloth diapers, carriers and other natural type stuff. The one thing that keeps me going is the owner of this place. Shes soo nice!! You just have to buy something. I usually am a lil shy at tiny shops, not here.
