Visited this establishment, came recommended. Such wonderful sweet caring small business that catered to my every need. It is a total shame that more people do not visit this business and support their needs for income. I go to take little store/meat market when in that n-hood. It has a really good small buffet. Its real Mex. Food for a.m.,pm. I call it my best hole n the wall cause the prices are real reasonable. The plates or tacos will fill a person cause they are blessed goodness.

It’s a small cute little shop on the corner in EaDo. My son goes to a magnet school nearby and I was craving some tacos on the way home and landed here. The staff is super friendly, the flour & corn tortillas are handmade by these wonderful ladies! The tacos were delicious and the homemade hot sauce was Yumm too! Will come back again when I’m in the area.

I wont even want to give this greasy place a star.i bought some smoked sausage from this place and had food poison and diarrhea for a good month.The drinks I buy are all flat like they been there awhile.and every time I buy tacos are always greasy.Also his prices are way to high for greasy tacos.he takes advantage of the place cause nothing else is around but him.If you have high blood pressure or diabetes I would not recommend this place.

Man, the lady lick the beans out her thumb and proceeded to serve me the taco without washing her hands, Im all for authenticity but dang that was gross and I think my wife got sick from here idk but yeah this wasnt it.

THE BEST! THE ABSOLUTE BEST LITTLE MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES!But thats just my opinion. Ive lived in Mexico and La Familias food is the genuine article! I dont want to eat anywhere else. Oh, and the grocery store is wonderful too.

La Familia is a fantastic neighborhood resource! I love how we can decide to do some last minute grilling on a Sunday and walk over there to pick up everything we need to make delicious burgers or fajitas.No theyre not going to have your typical selection of protein bars or rows of organic stuff. For that youll need to go to a larger grocery store.You will find friendly people, great meat, beer, and most importantly a seemingly limitless supply of perfectly ripe avocados.Oh, and just about any flaming hot flavored chips you can think of!And if youre looking for instant gratification swing by to get some fresh tacos. The barbacoa is excellent, especially on the weekends!Give it a try next time you drive by. Its a perfect little neighborhood market and you will not be disappointed.

My girlfriend and I walked in and were treated by a man who was very nice and mentioned to us all the meats they have and how they can cut it any way we like. They seemed like good people so I will be coming back to this place. Very good first impression.

There are very few of these amazing little grocery markets . Great price and easy to talk to workers and definitely easier to customize ur orders due to the flexible owner ! I’ll be a daily customer for sure !!!
