Let me first start off by saying that when I intially came to the store one, (only one), of the sales staff was very helpful and kind. This quickly changed when I came back to the store to return an item. The sales ladies were outside chatting with another person that I believe worked near their store . I entered the store without being greeted or acknowledged in any way.I stood at the counter for some time( a long time) before ever being addressed ( when I came into the store one of the sales girls was standing at the door). They seemed very bothered to have me in the shop and in a rush to have me leave. When I asked if I could return an item of perfume I had purchased on Mothers Day, I was told that they could not return an item that had the plastic off the bottle( understandable) and that I needed to read what it said on the reciept as that was clearly stated. I never put up a fuss but was treated and spoken to not the way I would speak to a customer and someone who I would want to return.Management needs to speak with their associates about how to speak and treat any potential paying customers. I agree with the review below that they are quite rude and need to be retaught on what customer service is.
Detail oriented employees with great customer service. I loved finding my go to candles here. Will Def return.
Absolutely amazing! Very friendly and fantastic customer service, it was a great experience!
Great service and love the candles smell
Finally a Diptyque boutique in Houston! excellent selection and informative employees very knowledgeable and assertive.
To start off, this is not a product review... Diptyque has wonderful products, maybe to much of their customer service downfall....However, this is my review of my customer service, experiences at this location on multiple occasions. The ladies that work here, are horribly rude and very unmotivated to assist. In one of my latest visits... I requested 2 different scented candles, the sales associate (not sure her name, but she was thicker around the middle.) proceeded to ask me how many of each candle I wanted... As to make me feel bad that I wasnt asking for 4 each.I also have never had a problem at any of the other locations (Atlanta, Brooklyn, Bay Area) Ive visited, they are always willing to assist and always are able to accommodate getting sample candles. But for some odd reason, this location is very stingy, no matter how much you spend. - Maybe the manager is not a good sales leader? After all they have one job, sell candles...Customer service is very rude too, I called via phone about an online order and they were in no rush to help. Maybe because this is a French company? Customer service is lacking...? Or maybe the sales associates are so miserable peeling candles, that they forget what it means to be a human being. Yankee Candle and Bath and Body works, both have better customer experiences in my opinion, and clearly a few other people below agree.
Smells good and great service
I came in to the store and Ms Jennifer was so sweet and nice. I got the perfume of my dream.. I wasnt dress up and was in total messy clothes, and still she was so nice to help me. Didnt judge a book by its cover. I appreciate her help and I ended up buying two perfumes!!!
Pricy but worth it
Very friendly staff, whose passion and knowledge for the brand you would feel upon entering the store. Favorite diptyque store, along with the original 34 boulevard Saint Germain store.
