Therese I totally agree with you, my friend and I were out shopping and we decided to stop in and look around. We saw several items that we were interested in purchasing, but because every move we made, we were followed as if we were trying to steal. We both love to shop and that was a shopping day for two of us. I have not visited the store since, it was very uncomfortable.

Vikki and Theron were very sweet and kind! I knew exactly what I was looking for and I found it at MTYCI. Their selection of high end bags is phenomenal! Coming from experience, if you see something you like here, you better jump on it because they sell fast! They even waited for me to pick up my purchase after they closed. That was very nice of them to do. The gift bag was an added touch with the cute leopard tissue paper which just so happens to be one of my fave prints! A note of their gratefulness for my purchase was a sweet touch also in the gift bag. They know customer service here and appreciate their customers. I love this upper scale fun boutique and appreciate that it is a safe shopping experience. Some of these other reviews are unkind and clearly don’t see the importance and service this boutique provides to their customers! Their prices are also very competitive for higher end (vintage/pre loved) items. If you shop consignment and have knowledge in it, you will know this. I met Vikki only once and can tell you she is some one I aspire to be! She is a business woman and is doing it right!! Thank you Vikki for the warm welcome into your boutique! 💕

My mother and I were out consignment shopping and stopped by this store for the first time. There are some very nice things and we were greeted kindly, however, the customer service soon became a bit undesirable as we were being followed around in an excessive manner and what seemed to be more out of surveillance than to be genuinely helpful. I felt like I was being profiled and tracked the entire time. It seems like they’ve had bad experiences in the past with theft. The store layout is a bit of a maze and there are multiple blind spots so that could be the reason. Anyway, I’ve worked several years in retail so I understand the “personalized” customer service approach, but it was too much and we promptly left feeling uncomfortable. Not the greatest shopping experience.

Today was my first time in. My husband did some work for Ms Vicky years ago and I was hoping to see her there. I guess I should’ve asked the two very nice guys there. I’ll be back soon to shop for myself. Thank you for the great customer service.

GREAT experience! I came to town from Atlanta to see family and stopped by More Tgan You Can Imagine just to see if they had anything special since tge reviews were so good. I was amazed- vintage designer brands and upscale clothing. Not to mention all of their accessories. The ladies working in the store were super personable, knowledgeable about their products, and very patient. I will be back the next time Im in town.

My mother and I (women of color) came here to shop, we rung the doorbell, no one came. A white couple showed up 2 seconds later and was let in immediately.

The service is beyond any level you could imagine. I know that this store is centered around selling items, but the level of service and attention to customer needs and desires is what truly make shopping here more of an experience than just a chore. Anything from Birthday or Wedding to Christmas or just a simple gift, everyone here will take good care of your needs.

Follow them on Instagram and always have had great interactions through browsing the store and asking questions online about product availability. Just had an item I purchased online delivered and LOVE IT. My dear friend and I spent most of the day consignment shopping.We went to several very nice boutiques and eventually made our way to More Than You Can Imagine.Most of the merchandise was upscale and relatively nice, however many items where clearly overpriced and the customer service was undesirable.Not certain if it was because we are women of color, or fear that since we had never been there, we were deemed untrustworthy and clearly profiled.The sales associate followed us around the entire store from the moment we arrived.Unfortunately, they have no idea who they lost as a customer, for we will never return and will spend our money in establishments that value and respect us as customers and human beings....

The staff is terrible, the items are old, not well kept, and in terrible condition.

This is where you want to go! The jewelry is gorgeous. The consigned pieces are beautiful. When they are on sale it is really affordable. For 50 you can get high end items. I will be coming back and the staff was super sweet and helpful!

My very favorite clothing boutique in Houston! MTYCI is a treasure trove of high-end bargains. The owner and staff are incredibly nice and helpful. I have been a loyal customer for over ten years, and always find the perfect outfit here. Its especially good for cocktail and evening wear!

RUDE! ITEMS DONT SELL! After consigning a very expensive dress for 79 days without any online marketing, updates, etc. I decided to call and make arrangements to pick up my item. The owner came to the phone - rudely and abruptly told me that my type of item is NOT marketed online and I hadnt waited long enough to sell it. It took three attempts for me to respond because she kept interrupting me, and then I explained that after this interaction, I no longer wanted to do business with MTYCI. This is my choice and my right to terminate this contract early, I have no idea why I was treated with such disrespect but I will not purchase nor consign any items at this store ever again.

My girlfriend and I are from San Antonio and never miss a chance to drop in when were in town. She is a purse-aholic. I have mixed feelings about the store. They have top quality resale items at fair prices. Whereas I do feel like we get the stare-down or the tracking eye every time we go, and yes we do have slightly off-white skin, the feeling of being profiled is ultimately up to the individual. Though there is controlled front door access and a security guard sitting by the door, the store is a tight space with blind spots. Perhaps the reason the staff does what they do comes from past experiences. I dont have that answer. As a small business owner I might do the same. What I can say is that weve been there half a dozen times over the years but never quite found the exact thing we were looking for until our last visit. My girlfriend found a nice black Gucci purse, thank goodness. As soon as my Amex Gold Card came out the staff was singing a different tune. Very nice folks. Our overall experiences have been good. Like I said, top quality merchandise at fair prices. Well probably be back... as soon as I can afford another purse.
