As soon as my son and I walked into Vision Source, we had a ‘customer first’ experience. The assistants were very welcoming and attentive.Doctor was patient and answered our questions of concern.At the time of ordering eyeglasses for my son, the doctors assistant was product knowledgeable and friendly attitude.This Vision Source Location, customer service, makes our experience both an enjoyable and an easy visit.

Dr. Chang is fantastic! She took extra time beyond the normal examination to explain things and dig deeper into what could potentially be an issue she saw. It is comforting knowing that she is willing to go the extra mile to make sure her patients are well taken care.

Dr. Sarah is the best! Her assistants, Chloe & Lily, are both very helpful, and make the patients feel very relaxed. I cant imagine how they could improve.

Been wearing glasses and contacts seems now for ages. I used the Vision source in Carlsbad due to me being there for work. The Dr Miss or Mrs’s Chang was very professional and confident. Her front staff also very good at what they do. Very nice experience!

The employees had great customer service! They were very thorough in explaining everything. It was different from the other eye doctor I used to go to. Glad I was referred to them from my sisters. They really make sure everything is perfect for you in every way. I went in to get an exam for both glasses and contacts, and they went the extra mile to make sure glasses and contacts fit comfortably.

Great doctor!!! But the staff is not helpful at all, Grace from the front desk couldn’t answer my questions about my last visit about my PD cause she said she wasn’t the one there when I got my eye exam done, she had a attitude about every question I was asking as if she didn’t want to talk, why work in customer service if you can’t be nice to people ?? You get paid to be nice to me and treat me good so I can keep coming !! Would not be coming back and will definitely not recommend.

Bought 2 pair of glasses because the Dr said I need 2 pair of glasses, one to assist and one to wear all the time. Never ever wore the assisting glasses because I cant see out of them. Unfortunately I waited over 6 months to try and exchange them (they told me they were under warranty for a year. No one ever said anything about 6 months) and they wanted over 700.00 to change the lenses. Not right at all. The pair I wear all the time were also broken, the screw fell out. They were basically falling apart and they couldnt even fix those. These were still under the 1 year warranty and they still wanted 25 to fix them. Not much of a warranty. I will definitely be going somewhere else the next time I need glasses.

Got an appointment quickly at a convenient time. Everyone I dealt with was professional and friendly, and the doctor made time to chat, answer all my questions, and talk through various possible solutions and next steps. They have a reasonable selection of frames too. Recommended :)

I dont know why anyone would complain about this place. The staff is extremely helpful and nice and the Doctor is very professional and really cares about her patients. This is the only place i will go to get glasses and contacts from now on. Highly recommended. A+++

2 days ago I went to pick up glasses, but the frame has not looked good. The assistant tried to fix it and could not, and gave me an appointment today. I arrived at the agreed time, but my surprise was that the doctor I sent message with his assistant that he would see other patients who were in a great hurry. I wonder if Im in a hurry, Im the mother of a special needs boy who leaves his program at 11 am and my appointment was 9:30 am. This is not a professional is an unscrupulous lens seller who does not care if a patient has not received all the attention, because as she pays she is happy. I have retired from that clinic and I have been well taken care of by another clinic and they have repaired me the glasses they have not charged me and from now on it will be our new clinic .

I had to find a new doctor for my vision care and wasnt happy to do that after going to same doctor for years. My husbands insurance had changed. After many months of trying to decide, I found Dr. Chang. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff and doctor. My 15 yr old daughter, who liked her mom, does not like change, was also impressed and really liked Dr. Chang. If you live in or around the Gessner area and looking for a clean, professional establishment, Vision Source on Gessner is the place for you!

I just went in for a regular check up and they did an awesome service, this the kind of place I would go back to do it again. Keep it up the good work!!

Fast service nice and good customer service.

Staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful over the phone. I was simply calling for recommended steps after having issues with my contacts and the staff automatically made the assumption that I some how wanted to get free contacts with a tone of voice that simply said they were not willing to help. When I heard this response, I responded back by saying that either way, the trial period of 2 weeks that the doctor had given me when I got the contacts was not enough time to truly evaluate MONTHLY contacts. Ive struggled with these contacts, trying multiple things like eye drops, taking them out early, trying to make it work because I could not tell there was a problem before I bought a years supply after trialing for 2 weeks when everything was fine. At this point of struggling for several months, I am willing to buy a whole new supply. But rather than show understanding, (forget willingness to accept any possible fault in this situation), or simply have a polite conversation on recommending new contacts to get, the staff was super rude over the phone. There are plenty of Vision Sources in the city, I have decided to go with another branch. I didnt even call back when they hung up the phone on me.

They didnt have much selection on her frames. Or in adult section for me from what I saw. I may just check out online eyewear companies or check another company next year.

I am very disappointed with the service! I been a patient for a year or so and ever since the first day the staff been really nice but not helpful at all, everything I asked as far as billing or insurance information to make sure it covers me they had no clue, they didnt know what my cost was going to be until the services were done!! I worked front desk at a doctors office before and I made sure that when patients arrived I new what their coverage was going to be. Another thing every time I called in for a new box of contacts they expected me to pay in advance and then it will take a week or MORE for contacts to arrive because they were never stocked!! I just feel they are very selfish, they want your money FIRST! I paid these people hundreds of dollars on top of my insurance pay so I am not even sure why I kept going there but I guess it was because it was convenient since my job is around the corner. My new insurance kicks in a week but my prescription expired so I couldnt even get a set of daily contacts until I went in for a appointment! My toddler threw my contacts last night along with casing to the trash and my glasses are lost but that is my fault so in other words I can not drive anywhere or see anything because I do not have contacts/glasses so I called them stressing my urgency and they couldnt even give me one set of contacts UNTIL I COME IN FOR A NEW EXAM but yet I had to wait a week until my new insurance kicked in, seriously they couldnt cut me a slack wow shows a lot of care for patients ! I rather go somewhere else sorry but you lost me as a customer!

Did not answer their phones even when they were open. Kept going to voicemail. Horrible customer service. Will be going to another place.
