Im new to the Houston area. I have to say this is the best 1.49 store I have ever been too. They have lots of stuff from foam wall decor to hats.Lots of cleaners, socks, t-shirts. party supplies.

The guy behind the register was so rude he didn’t say a word to us and when he needed the card to pay he just out his hand out and starred at me. He’s not the first sketchy guy that’s worked there. I’m not too sure if he’s some type of manager. The prices have gone from $1.25 to $1.59, also they never gave me the right change back..I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Always here picking up things for my Buisness. Quite staff, don’t speak much English but still helpful.

If you buy anything in here, check the expiration date. Seriously. I bought lip balm today that expired a year ago next month. They have a great selection of a lot of things. But just make sure that you check the expiration dates on everything.

You never know what to expect they had these half size rattle cans of paint did they sell at OReillys in AutoZone each I messed around and painted my whole car with them Pearl blue

They are supposed to be open at 9am and I came today and it’s 9:15 all these people waiting in the parking lot and no one answers the phone.

I just moved across from this place, I was really surprised in my very 1st visit here with the huge selection and variety of items. I mean, they have stuff you probably wouldnt find at the grocery store. But, the cashier was the most unprofessional person Ive had to deal with in a while, at 1st I thought it was because it was sunday morning and well, maybe she wasnt having a good day, but then I came back on a Wednesday early evening and I confirmed that she just plain hates her job. Im not sure if shes mute, because both times, she did NOT say a single word, not a greeting, not a thank you for putting up with my rude attitude, not a come back again, absolutely nothing. I definitely felt like I was bothering her. I would live to come in and see smiling faces at the register, like someone appreciates my business. Other than that, the store is well maintained, stocked and organized.

This place has EVERYTHING you need and cool if your looking to budget, I dont shop here for everything but for most things esp when brand has no bearing on the product itself. And there are good cleaning and grooming items here..as well as candy and party items. Very cool place there is a rude cashier but hey what can you do. The items are $1.25 to $2.00 plus tax on average as well not $1.00

Horrible experience! Cashier Kim if that’s her real name. Was Rude to several customers and the elderly.I Asked, to speak to a manager no on duty waited for thirty minutes and even call the store several times but no answer. Also told me in a threatening way that her boss is even worse than her. She was mean. Did not treat people equally. I will never go back. Bad Bad Bad business.

Wonderful store filled with goods!!! Nothing over $1.25 ! & if it is it will be listed, which is rare when they do but it’s usually in big gallons of oil from what I have seen. But you can find anything. Party supplies, costume jewelry, some old clothing, hygiene products, house hold products and candy. Batteries, chargers, simple tools & such. A bit of it all.. & you will find GREAT deals on name brand products! A must shop

Cashiers are slow and its always hot in here. But they do have a good assortment of lunch containers which i dont mind their prices since i keep losing mine

Pretty cool place, has a larger variety of things, probably because their location doesnt seem like itll get alot of customer traffic like all their other locations.. I enjoyed our solitude there as we shopped and browsed.. Ill definitely be returning for their fabulous selections..

Theres something so cool about King Dollar. I will visit every one I can. This isnt quite as large or as varied as some, so only 4 stars, but still loads of fun. I love that they have the new craft sections now; you can get fabulous stuff for a tiny price!

Shopping baskets dont go out into the parking lot so youll have to carry all your things out of the basket and into the parking lot then to your car. This is a huge hassle.Theres no scanners so the cashiers have to manually count every item in your cart then input that amount times $1.35 into the register.I do like that theres a huge selection of dinnerware to buy, one item at a time, of course. Another store for being well stocked.

Lots of good finds. You never know what they might have! I tend to drop in when I am in the area because they change the assortment daily. They have great selection around all holidays.

I went in for 2 items and bought $20 worth of products. They do not speak much English but very nice and respectful of customers. They do not scan items but count them instead. You can use a credit or debit card as well.

Worth a look good stuff is in there. Specially if you have some time to browse its better.

The cashier was watching his culture funny videos while ringing me & my mom items up. Then he really like stop ring our things up & was watching them but was crying LAUGHING and it also was ONLY but 7ppl in line behind us. Them ppl cut up on him, he just looked & kept watching while he bag up our things😂😂😂but for the most part I LOVE KING $. YOU HAVE TO BRING A CERTAIN AMOUNT WITH U BECAUSE U WILL GO OVER BOARD ON THINGS U NEED, DONT NEED, NEVER KNEW EXISTED

Let me begin with the store offers great value for the product. Now allow me a moment to go into my experience as a customer. I previously frequented the store yet one day the gentleman at the register over charged me by 8 items, quite simply his count was off. When I brought it to his attention he all but called me a liar, instead of accepting the mere possibility that he may have made a mistake. I advised him to pull the footage of his camera and with that request he then refunded me the difference that he overcharged. Never once did he apologize for his mistake, I went back a few days later to let him know that the refund had not yet showed in my account and he then tells me again he was not wrong. Which again, he took another opportunity to call me a liar. I asked him if he thinks Im lying lets review the footage together. He then goes on to dismiss my request by saying its in the past. Needless to say I will NEVER shop at this particular location again, I have never had my character called into question in such an egregious manner, Perhaps his stance was due to a cultural difference, how dare a women say hed made a mistake...who knows.

Store is clean& organized

I love this place. They get new items in all the time, so theres always something new. Its a Dollar Store so you cant expect Nordstrom customer service (as some seem to expect), seriously. Its just a great place that offers great deals. A lot of the items are name brands that retail for much higher prices elsewhere. I come here almost weekly, and always find things I need. Cleaning supplies, crafts and school supplies, kitchen items, name brand makeup even.

Love this store they always have great products that just makes you spend more then you wanted but I love it

Alot of interesting little items that are hard to find at this location and one of the only stores that I have seen where most items are just a dollar.

They were kind of being really not being helpful to me and had an attitude towards me and my friends that made feel like Im was not being respected. I told the managed what had happened but she was being rude to men and said not to come back or Ill call the police we ask what did we do bc we was confused of what was going on.

King dollar is my go-to for many different categories of goods. Ive shopped with the chain since it was a 1.03 chain, and at this posting its currently at 1.25. Still worth it - the thing to understand about king dollar is that a lot of the products are at someone elses loss. They buy a lot of liquidation goods, and the shelves are in a constant flux. Whenever I spot something new and useful, I tend to grab one or two as theres no guarantee itll be there tomorrow.Try going in with some time to browse, and really absorb the stuff they have. Going in for some phone chargers and cables, an odd aerosol, a common tool, or even pet care products can save you as much as ten dollars per item vs a specialty shop. Theres really no other dollar store like it.

They have literally everything! Do yourself a favor and go right now. And be prepared to find everything you needed a more. This store is like a tiny walmart with no long lines. Go here before go to walgreens, walmart, or anywhere. For small whatnots. This place will save you so much money.

King Dollar or also known as rhe $1.25 store. Even though everything is a $1.25 nothing higher; this has become my favorite Dollar Store!

I AM USAF VETERAN that decides to shop here for a particular item. LONG STORY SHORT when I asked the first employee for the item she said she didnt understand language barrier. I asked the the next employee did he have the item or know what it was he responded back he didnt know to go to aisle four he wasnt a doctor. Im startin to understand now what people mean about brown not respecting blacks.

Carmen, the assistant manager is the rudest person Ive came across at any king dollar. I will never go back to this location. Missouri city location is the best so far. The people in post oak are so disrespectful. I asked where do you have the gloves and she responded, look for them. Worst customer service.

Customer service sucked. The manager got smart with me and him and the cashier didnt want to help me move the items I was purchasing move over to counter to pay for them. Both were very rude and and sorry men. Not helping a lady was ugly.

Usually has food/snacks that is already expired. If you go and tell the employees there, they do nothing about it. The next week youll see the same foods being sold still expired.

I hate it that they had some beta fish and they were in a super dirty water i had to buy all the 6 fishes cause they were about to die
