I tried to place a order for equipment today. In 30 years in biz I have never been spoken to so rudely when trying to spend 20k! The guys name was Harry from Houston. This was my first time contacting this company and will definitely be my last. Ill be placing my order for a full screen printing setup from someone else

Always have what we need. Good prices. Friendly staff. They lose a point because they dont manage the drive up dock very well. Sometimes people Park themselves there and you have to wait for them to move even if your stuff is ready and the people parked on the dock are still waiting. There should be a better system.

They used to be much better, now the associates are really careless with no sense of apology if they mess up. Ordered a will-call in the morning at 11AM, asked the associate over the phone when to pick up and he said give it an hour or two as were approaching the lunch time ; when I got there in the evening to pick up (5pm) nothing from my order was ready and they just started cutting my sheets and gathering other pieces of order. They customer service is going down big time. I like the convenience of having a reliable supplier in town, but now considering switching to other sources for my needs.

I needed a small amount of vinyl for an arts and crafts project and was blown away by 1.) their selection of material. 2.) the scale of their operation. 3.) that they sell to the general public for small orders on top of their huge corporate orders. I called ahead, discussed with them what I wanted to make, they helped me pick a material, and was able to walk in and purchase my stuff the very same day! Thanks GSG

Google Maps will take you to the backside of the warehouse, know that you have to turn in and cut through the parking lot.I did a review a while ago and wanted to update it a bit more. Im more so a hobbyist in screen printing, so I can only talk from that side of it. I also go to the warehouse and do will call, so Im not paying shipping fees. Typically I can order online and go pick up the item within 20 minutes. Ive gone in and purchased things in that moment and have never had to wait more than 20 minutes.If youre new to screen printing, the habit is to kind of go with Ryonnet, which has some of the major websites. Im not making this review to bash them, theres a few items Ryonnet carry that are cheaper, but I found that having GSG in Houston was an awesome option to switch too, mainly because you can go in and have a conversation, see products, and have products recommended to you based on your needs. Theres also cheaper paint options, such as the StarTex line which is exclusive to GSG (I think, maybe Im wrong, but; I think thats the one).As a hobbyist I was initially intimated to go here, mainly because I didnt know if I need to be a business, have a tax exemption, all those other things, or even a threshold for some of the orders. None of thats true. I think I was also intimidated that I cant walk around and see what it is that I need (its a warehouse) and not knowing the language, I wouldnt be able to get what I needed without feeling out of place/intimidated. Thats not the case at all. Its been a pretty awesome experience overall and I cant support going local for your screen printing supplies enough, the prices are also super competitive, and again, theyre cheaper than some of the online stuff, a little more expensive than others, but the overall quality, Ive found, is much better.

Ive been printing for several years, and Ive never had as much difficulty with a company as with GSG. From inept technicians like Jose, to misrepresentative salesmen like Jimmy, to the managers and supervisors that display the same incompetence like Shawn, this company is Terrible.From the moment they got my $20,000, theyve been ignoring calls and emails to the point that I try to deal directly with Roland whenever possible. They messed up my delivery (no heads up, no lift gate, etc etc). They messed up my installation (my registration was way off and when we asked about it, the tech said its like that sometimes and then left) and It was a chore to get them to come back and correct it (a 1 day installation became a 5 day process that stretched through the weekend).They promised me some free media for the troubles and I gave up trying to get that after a few months and several broken promises.Most recently, they serviced one of the machines I bought from them, but they didnt actually fix it, so now Ive been struggling to get them to come back for over a month.I know they dont appreciate my business or opinion as evidenced by countless emails, but hopefully this info will help save someone else the headache.... BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!Update: Years later, same problems. Service is terrible. They screwed up delivery on a $2500 machine last month. They lied to me about ink supplies a few months ago. They dont bother to follow up on service calls with any type of urgency. Again. Stay far away if you can, but unfortunately Roland always refers me to them for terrible service.

Very good place to buy all your graphics and print needs for cheap price

GSG has screwed me over on 6 deliveries in the last 6 months. They always blame me for orders not being delivered when they are the ones that kept sending my orders to old addresses after I called and updated all our shipping info. Also their drivers dont even knock on the door, call or anything. They claim to call but we never received calls from the drivers. The manager is a very rude and and disrespectful guy implying that I am a liar and refusing to have the order sent via courier after they failed to deliver my order today (once again) unless I want to pay for the courier service. Needless to say now I have unhappy customers because I cant complete their orders today, thanks a lot GSG!!!!
