Look like a Google Retail Store - so we went into the store. It is a lease a space where companies lease a space and display their products for sale. RadRover Bike, Boosted Board, QUIP toothbrush, and Google = a store in the Galleria without the overhead. Worth a visit - near Saks Five Ave.

Bring your mask, proof of vaccination, and leave your children at home or be prepared to be unwelcomed by unmasked long faced store personnel right at the door.The only store in the whole mall to actually ask me to put a mask on my children and If was vaccinated... by an unmasked employee with an attitude.Not even the candy store acted this way.

The store itself is neat, innovative and I love all the new creative gizmos and gadgets. Yesterday I bought a massager (one you hold that is geared towards athletes.) I went about 2 weeks ago and found this as a fathers day gift, the girl who helped me was VERY knowledgeable and helpful, the only reason I didnt purchase it from her was because my hubby was there and I wanted it to be a surprise. She told me to join the newsletter with my email and that I could get a discount in the store and that she would honor same day use of the code. (A good sales technique considering people say theyll come back and never do!) Yesterday I went into the store because I dont prefer to order online and the first thing the manager said when I brought up a coupon code was NO THAT CODE WONT WORK THERES NOTHING I CAN DO IM SORRY IF THERE WAS ANYTHING I COULD DO I WOULD (she put the code in her tablet to try to reassure me it didnt work) only problem with that false statement was I went ONLINE before and put this same ON SALE item in my cart and ADDED THE SAME DISCOUNT TO THE ON SALE ITEM and got my $25 off (they honor the code because its your FIRST PURCHASE EVER with them and they want you as a costumer especially your first time!) Once I showed her she went on to say I KNOW WHO THAT EMPLOYEE IS AND IM GOING TO HAVE A SERIOUS CONVERSATION WITH HER SHES the only other female who works last week SHOULDNT HAVE TOLD YOU THAT SHE WOULD HONOR THE CODE THERES GOING TO BE SERIOUS ISSUES BECAUSE OF THIS DISCOUNT 🙄 shes threatening a GREAT employee to a customer who is making a purchase for the first time ever with this company... over 25 DOLLARS OFF IS RIDICULOUS! Turns out... SHE (the manager) DID end up price matching and somehow MAGICALLY found a way to do something to make the discount work after all. I told her I didnt think her employee should get in trouble for something that was being honored online by the company and that I didnt appreciate her telling me those things because I shouldnt know things like that seeing that I am just a costumer, she was the worst and most unprofessional manager ever her last rude ignorant comment was WELL I DID END UP MAKING IT WORK FOR YOU SO THATS ALL THAT MATTERS, RIGHT? RIGHT YOURWELCOMEThis employee better not get fired or reprimanded seriously! Specially not by a manager like this!

It’s quite unfortunate, but the “General Manager” refused to allow me to shop in the store due to my personal medical condition.Medical discrimination!I would truly hope that corporate would not condone such action. I have reached out to corporate, but they clearly stated they do not care if they discriminate during a pandemic.Katrinas response to this review does not address the underlying issues regarding this matter. This is a typical politically correct response to try and justify their poor customer service.Furthermore, Simon Mall guidelines and the CDC do allow accommodations for personal medical conditions and neither condone discrimination. Best of luck, but I will not be recommending this business to anyone!

B8ta has been a place that I always come to when I come to the galleria. It has a while Google section where you can see the new things Google has and on to of that there so many cool gadgets that they change up every now and then. Its a good place to learn about whats new and try things out before buying them. The people working at the store are also amazing and knowledge about the products and are very good at explaining what they do.

This shop was awesome! Different tech from different new and emerging companies and old ones we all know and love. Go in check it out and leave your footprint and vision where it can make a difference in shaping tomorrow for everyone.

The store showcases innovative electronic products. On my visit, I was impressed by the presentation method as well as the ease of accessibility to the various products that were displayed. One must pay a visit to this store if they are visiting the Galleria. The manager and the staff were well versed in the technical details of each product, and I did not have to wait to get answers to umpteen technical questions I had for the products of my interest. If you love gadgets.... Must visit this store.

I want to give thanks to Jeremy and Jalal who helped my father get back a valuable item left behind by my brother. The two men were very helpful in recuperating the lost item and were honest throughout the whole process.

It was awesome. Found some new gadgets I might want to purchase like the Embr Wave and Pebblebee products. I probably wouldnt consider getting them unless I had tried them in the store. If your a tech aficionado I recommend coming to this store.

It has the coolest and some of the most advanced technology. They have from mini projector-screened tablet to customed fit bra sizing from Soma. I just pre-ordered the Pixel 4, so this place has the 3. I am assuming Google will get them the 4 sooner or later. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the products and get you hyped for them. You probably dont need them, but after speaking with them, they make you want to get the $95 purifier water bottle, for example. Super cool! I just might get that water bottle.

Without realizing it, I spent well over an hour and a half in b8ta gawking at all the cool gadgets! I intended to check out one thing then couldnt resist perusing every aisle. Very interesting collection! Each product is available for you to test out hands on. Every item has an accompanying tablet with a general description, a promotional video, a gallery, pricing info, and an option to sign up for notifications if the price drops. Walking around and testing gadgets is fun in itself but I had the additional pleasure of meeting Jalal, who I believe is the store manager. He was welcoming and knowledgeable. He happily catered to my inquisitiveness by answering my many questions and highlighting special features of items that caught my interest. Since employees are not paid on commission, Jalal was just a genuinely friendly knowledge base to interact with while not feeling pressured to make a purchase or rushed to make a decision. Whether you prefer to browse on your own or have an extensive chat about the products, b8ta is a totally enjoyable experience and I will definitely be back for their updated collections (which happens each month I was told).

They have a lot of different gimmicky gadgets here which seem neat, but Im rating this place as one star because of how dismissive and rude one of the staff members were. I tried wearing the helmet that the Nuviz camera/heads up display was attached to and one of the staff promptly came over and told me to take off the helmet and that I was missing the point of the device. She told me to hold it up to my eye so I could see the heads up display. I had trouble finding it at first which added to her frustration but eventually found it and started saying that I could see it by holding it up to my eye but that I wanted to see what it looked like when it was on the helmet. You cant hold the HUD device up to your eye while you are riding a motorcycle, its not safe. She reiterated that I was missing the point and that it doesnt matter because the device is deactivated because we were indoors. I said by that logic it would turn off on you if you went into a tunnel to which she dismissively said, youre not going to die if you go without the HUD for a few seconds in the tunnel. Annoyed at her dismissive and rude nature, I left. I just wanted to see the display with the helmet on but I was denied this opportunity. The website made no mention of the device shutting off indoors or in tunnels (which is pretty bad if you go to a city with tunnels that require directions like Boston or New York). I feel that she had simply didnt want me to wear the helmet but instead of simply saying I was not permitted to TRY (part of their motto insinuating that they want you to try things in their store) the helmet on she was rude, dismissive and unwelcoming. I dont visit Houston often, but Ill be sure to steer clear of this place in the future. At least Brookstone doesnt belittle your intelligence when you go in there.
