Excellent service and knowledgeable staff. Work was done within the prescribed time they said it would be. Work was excellent. I spoke at length with Mr. Lohman when retrieving my barrel and could not have been a nicer man. I highly recommend them.
These guys have been great to work with. They have completed the work extremely fast each time I have used them. They even helped me with a couple small issues with and AR and a lever action while I waited. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I definitely recommend them.
I really want to sing praises about Lohman Gunsmithing, but my personal experience was quite disappointing. I brought in an old Swedish Mauser to the store. I already did some extensive disassembly and cleaning on my own, but I knew with my limited equipment and experience that I would need help from professionals. I left a paper list of minor requests, including cleaning, disassembly, and fixing certain parts.I left it at the shop and paid a service/diagnostic fee in late April. The gunsmith gave an estimate about 6 weeks for my project since they were busy. I called a little after 6 weeks and came into the store. It is now early June. The gunsmith said it was done and I picked it up.I went home to check on the parts I specified on my list. I requested to have rust cleaned out of the internal magazine, floorplate, chamber, and bolt rails. I took some Ballistol, tissues, and a toothpick and wiped/picked at the inside of the internal magazine, magazine floorplate catch, and magazine floorplate. The tissues were still heavily stained with rust just like before the drop off (the toothpick points at the locations that released dirty substances). The chamber and some parts of the bolt rails are discolored and had no rust, but other parts released orange-brown stains when I scraped the edges with a tissue and my fingernail. I expected him to at least find larges patches of dirty surfaces in the internal magazine by giving it light scrub. I assume the gunsmith gave a cursory look, didnt account for the angle and lighting, and moved on. If deep cleaning is too time consuming, I would be happy with simply having the parts dunked into an ultrasonic cleaner (which I only realized they do have in house shortly before pick up).The cleaning service was almost or completely nonexistent.I also asked to have the top handguard retaining ring to be fixed. The gunsmith thought it wasnt an issue. The left side of the gun shows a thin metal ring on the receiver. There a split on the metal ring going parallel with the wood grain. Swedish Mauser handguards are meant to be flush with the stock. I understand that this top handguard is mismatched and doesnt fit properly, but the picture indicates that the ring was not fixed. I was hoping that the ring would be welded back at the split and polished it until it was flush. He could at least fix the ring, let me know that handguard doesnt fit, and then return the handguard as a separate piece.Im also not sure if the chamber was checked for safety. Its true the gunsmith mentioned that the bore looked like it was barely fired, but his statement doesnt indicate safety. When I bought the gun, the bore was filthy with gunpowder residue. I cleaned out the majority of the debris, but I was still get blackish-gray patches after running a bronze brush through the bore before drop off. I would have liked to have a affirmative statement that the gun was safe to fire.I found some silver, metallic dust on the bolt when wiping it. I have no idea where that came from since it was clean before drop off.On the plus side, I requested that the brass disc on the gun be removed from the stock since I couldnt get it out (the cracked and missing wood around the disc was already there when I bought the gun). However, I could bring it to another professional gunsmith and possibly get the same result so thats not saying much. It was again offset by wood chipped off at the bottom end of the buttstock. I didnt bring the butt plate to the shop since I wanted to clean it on my own, but they could at least be more careful while handling or request me to bring the butt plate to reassemble.Overall, I am very dissatisfied. They are kind and respectful, but the results are severely lacking. Most of the basic services were ignored. I currently cant recommend their services. If they manage to get their administration in order (or so they say), they better get their act together. I believe my warranty is over since its past 30 days from the day of payment. For now, Ill keep scrubbing and scrubbing...
Could not be happier. I stripped a screw removing my slide mounted optic, and they had it out in 10min. Worth every penny. I highly recommend their services.
Just picked up a couple items. Had a scope mounted on a Browning high wall and they did great. Also had a weatherby o/u barrel cerakoted for duck season and it look perfect. Fair pricing, friendly service, quick turnaround and quality craftsmanship. What more could you want?
I brought my Walther PK380 in for service. I was pleased with the service. I was treated fairly; not always the case when youre a female in a gun place. The employees I met took the time to explain what was going on with my firearm and what needed to be done. The turnaround time was within reason and the repair price was fair. Initially the firearm still had issues when I received it & took it to the range. I, naturally, took it back to Lohman and they were as surprised as me. After going through the gun again they problem was corrected & just to make certain they tested multiple rounds so Id be a satisfied customer.I also met the owner when I returned and found him to be pleasant and easy to deal with. Next time I need a gunsmith I know where to return 🙂
Customer service and turn-around time were excellent! Took my lever action in for barrel threading and was very impressed with the gunsmithing.
I picked up my Colt Delta Elite 10mm yesterday. The spring seemed rather stiff and very difficult to rack a round in. I was not in love right away. However, I went to the range today and the gun performed flawlessly! Tight groups, for my skill level, no stovepipes and every round fed and fired perfectly. This is the second 1911 that I have asked you to re-work and tune and I just could just not be happier with the results on both. The first was a Sig 1911 .357 Sig. Your gun guru really knows his 1911s. Please let him know I am way beyond pleased and appreciative.I am way beyond 100% happy!!!!! I just wish you were there to show me what this firearm is truly capable of in the hands of an experienced marksman. Please thank your outstanding staff. They were great to work with and know their subject matter very well.Love It, Love It, Love It!!!!!Thank You for providing such an outstanding service to we, the gun owners of Texas. As for future upgrades and repairs, I have found my home, where I can get anything done and receive much better than great results.
Over Priced and Inconsistent QualityHad a simple task for them to complete. Any gunsmith could do.When I got the gun back it looked like something I did in my garage. When I complained I got the Well make it right response. When I go the gun back the second time it looked no better that what your average Carters Country gunsmith could do. Not to mention it took about 4 months to get the whole process done. They are slow. Their quality is inconsistent. They are ridiculously over priced.
I messed up my gun when reassembling my gun after cleaning. I could clear the issue. I took it to Lohmans Gunsmiths. They took my gun back to take a look at it. Brought it back in a few minutes fixed. I was very satisfied, great service.
EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE PEOPLE HERE WERE GREAT TO ME! Went in for a simple fix on my Sig Sauer P238 .380 handgun and Amber was amazing and got it looked at and fixed in less than 10 minutes. This was an awesome experience and I will only take my guns here for servicing from now on. This place treats their customers how they should be.Thank you Amber and Brian!
I’ve used Lohmans for two very different projects (installation of a competition trigger assembly in my pistol and a full AR build-out) and both times, I was extremely satisfied with their quality of work and professionalism.I will be back with future projects soon!!
I am throughly impressed with the quality and professionalism of Lohman Gunsmithing. They have the reputation of being the best in Houston and in my opinion it is well deserved. I have many more projects to complete and Lohman will be the sole gunsmith for them all. Thanks, Lohman Gunsmith!
I went in to get the muzzle device changed out for my RDB and they did it 5-10 minutes for much less than I thought I was going to pay. I absolutely plan on using Lohmans for any future work and recommending them to friends/family. Extremely friendly and professional people, the work only took ~10 minutes and I couldve stayed an extra hour just enjoying the conversation!
Brian the owner was super helpful and patient. I called a few shops around town and received little to no help over the phone. Brian answered all my questions and gave me a reasonable timeline. Highly recommend this place for any custom work.
Great ppl . Felt like family walking in. Treated me soo nice and that to me means a lot. Saved me money on my 357 to having to send it in. They are the real deal and I am bringing my ARs and all my other guns here. Great place, great people, great and VERY FAST SERVICE it was awesome. Thanks for making my day see y’all soon
Got some sights for a 1911 installed looks great and did it while I waited.
Great place! I originally took my CZ PCR here to have my punch removed that I had stupidly gotten stuck by removing the trigger pin that was crimped. Quick and painless removal on the spot, no damage to my new pistol at a great price.Recently had the sights swapped out on the same gun and they also did a great job.Nice to know someone local who can cerakote and do all kinds of work on my guns if I run into something I can’t fix.Very honest, knowledgeable and easy going staff. I’ll be going back and recommend them to others from now on.
If I could rate Lohman Gunsmithing any lower I would. This should have been a simple ambidextrous safety installed on a 1911(Stainless). First, it was almost two months from the time it was dropped off before I was finally able to get a call back to find out the status - they would get to it within the week. I spent over 8 minutes on the call explaining exactly what I wanted, type of safety (same thumb size as the original), asked them to address the slide release pin issue, and other things they would recommend - they suggested polish slide and trigger.Again, another month goes by before I call and they say it’s ready. Went to pick it up and when they set the weapon down I could see scratch marks on one sides of the slide and a small gouge along the slide. The other side was scratched up as well, most likely when they had the slides clamped down. The ambi safety could not be pushed up in the safe position by a flick up of the thumb, and it was dragging along side the frame and leaving large gouges that were visible when in the safe position. You literally had to move your hand off the grip and push up with the tip of your thump just to engage the safety. The ambi safety was also much larger than the original, which I explicitly stated during the 8 minute call I wanted it to be the same size. Their work is utter garbage and I can believe any reputable gunsmith would let a weapon leave their shop with this kind of s&*t workmanship.I spent two hours polishing out all the scratches and gouges, and undid the POS work they did on the safety, since I requested I wanted the original safety returned, and reinstalled the old safety. Three months in total and garbage workmanship. Don’t waste your time with this place.
Great service. Brought my new 6.5CM to have a scope mounted and boresighted. Quick work and good price. They also reinstalled a detention pin in my Taurus .44mag.
I was surprised to find a REAL American small business owner this place needs more exposure!!! I was in and out in less than an hour and they even offered to readjust the sight for me if it was even slightly canted great service
I have a 25-year-old Kimber Polymer 1911.45 Double stack that has been my conceal carry since day one. 25 years’ worth of wear and sweat and use was taking its toll on the original finish which was showing signs of light rust. After lots of research I chose to take it in to Lohmans shop. After looking it over and talking to me about Cerakote, they gave me a price that I thought was very reasonable and an approximate turnaround time frame. 10 days later they handed me a brand new firearm that was also cleaned inside as well and replaced the springs on it as well. When I picked it up I met Brian the owner. Its really refreshing to meet someone who puts so much pride and professionalism in their business.
Wonderful shop with a fast turnaround time. Excellent work!
We will not bring our guns anywhere else. All of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful craftsmanship and top notch work. I would highly recommend them.
Pleasant people who torqued a barrel nut on for me. Ill definitely go back for any needs I have in the future.
I went to Lohman to get my 1911 looked at because the slide seemed to be stuck to the rear. The lady at the front desk was super kind and helpful. She took my pistol to the back and came back and it was fine within 2 minutes. And they did it free of charge. Excellent customer service.
My first time dealing with this gunsmith and it will be my last. The owner Mr Lohman assured me that the work to my handgun could be done and would not be long in performing the work. The work was to chamber reaming, and barrel fitting. The conversion a new barrel from a 9 mm to a 357 sig. After a month I would communicate through email just to know how was everything was coming along. They responded very quickly to say they are busy and the my order is in line to be next. Another couple of months went by and again communicated by email and responded:“We were contacted by the reamer manufacturer yesterday letting us know that the reamer we sent in could not be resharpened and they would need to get us a new one and get it TiN coated. They gave us a turned around time of roughly 2 weeks so we should have your project completed late February, early March”.My handgun was dropped off on December 2020. My last communication to Lohman Gunsmith waiting for news on my work (7 month later) was in November 2020:“We have tried once again to cut on your barrel but we have ruined another reamer trying to do so. The owner has decided to stop work on this particular project since it is costing an exuberant amount of money to try with little success. At this point the barrel is halfway finished, and you are more than welcome to come and pick it up at any time. Please let us know if you have any questions”.After so many months, I went to pick up my handgun and barrel. I had paid in full for all work the day I dropped off my handgun. I met with Mr Lohman and expected to get a refund, because the work that was to be completed was not done. Mr Lohman said I’ll return some of the money but not all because it has cost him for replacing a reamer and that other gunsmiths would not return and money back. After having a respectful polite conversation and discussion I accepted the amount because I don’t want another headache in taking Mr. Lohman to small claims court, knowing I will win. Any company providing a service is taking all the risks, in this case dealing with customers handgun. If you are dealing with this gunsmith, always pay the minimum or half because they have your weapon hostage.Mr Lohman would not guarantee me that he did not damage my barrel and that someone else can finish the job. What does that tell you.... I paid $254.00 for my conversion, I got back or refunded 120.00. With no completed work and no guarantees or warranty.
Hands Down, The best Gunsmith in Houston Texas. They brought back one of my rifles from the dead.
Did a great job installing sights on 1 gun and adjusting sights on others. Very friendly staff fast service.
Just dropped my M1a to be cerakoted and dropped into a Sage chassis I bought. Staff is professional and I expect the finished product to look immaculate
Going to make this short and sweet. I dropped of my Noveske Ar pistol off Jan 31, 2017 to get cerakoted burnt bronze and finally just picked it up today (March 21, 2017). After almost 2 months the quality of the cerakote isnt the best work Ive seen especially being at Lohman facility for that long. Ive paid for their services and went back to work only to find out now my AR isnt working properly. The BCG wont return into the forward position after pulling the charging handle. I will not take my firearm back to them just because i dont believe in their services. Very unsatisfied with the services.
Very friendly people. I was quickly in and out with my Beretta good as new. Im glad to have found a new gunsmith in Houston!
Brought my XDS to Lohman to install a Powder River Precision spring kit. Work was done very quickly and was of excellent quality. Rating of best gunsmith in Houston is justified. Plan to have other work done.
I took my Glock 34 in to have a trigger and some other parts installed. I was very happy with the way Levi treated me and my little girl that I decided to ask for a grip reduction and stippling. I had planned to do this later as this is a project gun. Price was fair and turnaround was amazing. I was super happy with everything and cant wait to take it back to have the slide milled. Thanks Levi and Mr. Lohman!
I just picked up my rifle and couldn’t be more pleased. This was the third rifle that I had them work on and all three have been done perfectly and came out better than I could have imagined.I took my grandfather’s 30-30 Winchester as well as my great grandfather’s 32 Winchester to them a while back. One is 70 years old the other is 80 years old. They took their time and their craftsmanship, in my opinion, is second to none. The same quality work was done on my newest project, a 257 Roberts on a Mauser 98 action. They may have your firearm a while, but once you get it back it is well worth the wait!!I highly recommend using Lohman Gunsmith for your firearm needs.
I had a custom built 26 nosler done by Lohman Gunsmithing. I worked directly with Brian to pick each and every single piece of the rifle out so I was able to get it EXACTLY as I wanted it. The rifle is unbelievably accurate and the quality of work is amazing. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Lohamn Gunsmithing. I have and will continue to send family and friends to his shop.
Have come here multiple visits for work on my rifles, always prompt, quick visits, work has been great. Early hours are a plus when many others arent open till after 10am.
They call them selfs a gun smith.they couldnt make two cartridge guides for a rifle. There only a parts house.
I wanted to install night sights on my 10 Desert Eagle .50AE barrel and they had me in and finished the job expertly within 15 minutes. Outstanding service and very friendly and knowledgeable individuals here. Prices are the best in the region for the work they do, I hope that for those who want sights installed, among other gunsmithing work, that you check out Lohman.
I brought in my S&M MP 9mm, I tried to install a trigger on my own but botched it up badly. They fixed it in a matter on minutes with great customer service and fair pricing. I will be using them in the future and will recommend their services to anyone.
My Colt 1911 had been misfeeding more and more. I read tons of forums and just couldnt find a solution. I took it to another gun smith and they said they fixed it but it still wouldnt feed properly. I took it to Lohman. They seemed very professional and confident that they could figure out what was wrong and fix it. They called me back after diagnosing the problem and gave me a clear plan and reasonable price. I picked up the gun and ran 100 rounds through it without a single problem. Im impressed and pleased. My gun is fun again!
Dropped off a 5.56 upper for a new hand guard and barrel torque.... I figured at least three days! Called the next day!!! They did a great job! I’ll be back. Don’t hesitate coming here... thank you!!!!!!
Great people. Great service. Very pleased. I have had the broken trigger group to my Winchester Model 100 for some time. The rifle has been in pieces in a box and no smith has been able to repair it. I found Lohman by accident and thought I would try again getting this repaired. Showed the trigger pieces to them and they responded with a flat rate and Give them a week. What is one week after 12 years? A week later they called to inform me it was ready to pick-up. Fantastic welding job! Very pleased! Pulled the box of parts, reassembled my rifle and headed for the range. Great day at the range with my 100 back. This went so well I told Lohman of another project. I had bought a well used beater Ithaca Model 37. This shotgun had either been dropped, run over by truck or both. I repaired and refinished the stock and corn cob. Cleaned, lubed and finished the action. Showed Lohman the barrel with the dented muzzle and the front bead spinning around in a hole in the barrel. All other shotgun / barrel shops (sight unseen) wanted $250 - $300 for repairs just to this barrel. Another reasonable flat fee and a week later with Lohman and I had a great looking and complete shotgun barrel. Assembled the shotgun and headed to the range. During test firing, which went all well, I was offered to sell it on the spot. Almost tripled my money. Many thanks to Lohman Gunsmithing. I will return to them. So, please stand in line behind me. Thanks.
Levi did an amazing job on my AR build! Turn around time was fast and customer service was superb. Had the lower cerakote and the rifle completely assembled. Wanted to have a professional build this one and Im glad I did. Rifle performed with no hiccups and the cerakote matched my upper! If I need any work on my firearms I know who to trust. Looking forward to doing more business.
Brian and his Team at Lohman Gunsmith did an OUTSTANDING job on a 44 Magnum restoration and bluing! Well worth the time, and money. If you expect professional work, look no further!
Brought in a firearm for some upgrades, could not have been happier with the result. Firearm operated perfectly, will absolutely continue to do business with these guys.
Pin and welded my 5.56 barrel and did a top notch job. Reasonable prices and 3 day turnaround. Couldnt be more pleased. Thanks Brian!
My project was a little off the beaten path. They took time to meet with me and go over the details of what I was after. They made suggestions that were better than what I originally requested, and then executed in a timely manner and with great care and precision. Everything came out perfect.
I am very pleased with the action work done on my N frame S&W revolvers. Both are late 70s vintage with pinned barrels, model 25 and 27. I would not hesitate to have them work on future additions to my collection.
Excellent Service, Very Knowledgeable. Couldn’t Be Happier. Needed Low Profile Gas Block Assistances And With Just Little Time, The Job Was Done. The Information You Receive With Just Conversing With One From Here. Is Amazing. Will Definitely Refer, And Use Again! Thanks So Much For You Guys Help !May God Bless.
Very polite people. I am always afraid of taking things I own to servicing places because theres always people thatll try to cheat you or overcharge you. After reading many good reviews I decided to take my 1911 to Lohman Gunsmith and they are very straight forward with their pricing and very nice people to work with. Got my gun back all fixed in about 5 days. Thank you very much.
I have taken numerous pistols to Lohman, and have always been happy with the results. They do quality work. Recently, I took an antique shotgun that my ex-wife had virtually destroyed to them for restoration. Not only did they repair the damage, they listened to my ideas and restored it with an authentic vintage look that looks absolutely natural and original. On top of that, they brought her back to firing condition! Very happy!
The service and quality of workmanship were very well worth what they charged me. I took to them a 300 Blackout AR pistol that would not cycle with heavy bullet subsonic rounds. Now I have an AR pistol that functions well with that type of ammunition. Very happy indeed!
Did some rifle work for me and it turned out great ! Taking my firearms there from now on.
Very good customer service and work. Will be using them again for any future gunsmithing.
Only gunsmith Ive used in the Houston area. They finished up my order sooner than expected and provided quality work. Looking forward to more projects with them.
Took in a Savage 99 that had some rust damage and a cracked stock, they did a great job of fixing it up! The staff is very friendly and the owner is nice guy. Happy to have these guys in the area to do work on my firearms, worth every penny!
Was able to get new sights mounted for my pistol in no time. Great people and great quality work
Had some repairs made on an old Enfield single shot rifle; I had knocked the front sights off (broken). The rifle came back ready to shoot and with some minor work that seems to be very good. I had it out to test fire and all appears to be well with my rifle - good work.At the same time they fixed my 1911 and checked out both arms. Thanks for your help.
Outstanding. Had a custom stock and blueing work, as well as engraving done for my grandfathers 30-30. Turned out better than I had even expected. Highly recommend.
I drop by here on my lunch breaks at work from time to time. They have a very good selection of powder and assorted reloading supplies, and their prices are fair. They dont have much (if any) of a storefront, given the business park theyre in, but they stock a lot of good stuff inside. I have nothing negative to say, as theyve always been very friendly and helpful. Great to have local places that stock reloading components at decent prices.
Great price! Quality work and very fast turn around! Excellent customer service! Highly recommend!
I had called two other shops around the Cypress area trying to find a place just to stab a barrel onto an AR upper. Lohman was recommended by Ranger Point Precision, and rightfully so. I called ahead to make sure they could do the work, they informed me of the price and that they would be able to do it as soon as I got there. Levi was very prompt and asked the right kind of questions as to how I wanted the install completed. They went above and beyond all with reasonable prices for the services performed in so little time. I will continue the trend of recommendations to others, at least anyone who needs some smithing done.
I have to say I am extremely pleased with Lohman Gunsmithing . I have been there two times so far and my questions have been answered and problems solved within minutes. Unlike other shops, I did not feel like I was bothering them... The staff and owner are awesome. I have found my one and only gunsmith from no on. And when you are there check out the custom engraving they do.
Great people to visit with and excellent service! I had new sights installed, and the magazine release button changed, on my Beretta Px4 Storm 45. Dropped the pistol off at lunch and it was ready about an hour later. I highly recommend their service!
Had an old musket redone that had suffered flood damage from Hurricane Harvey. Took a little longer than I had expected but the result was well worth the wait. It turned out fabulous. Highly recommend their work, top end all the way.
Have had Lohman work on guns handed down in the family and guns I have purchased. Lohman know what they are doing, work has always been top notch. I trust them to handle every gun I own.
Had my son in laws 22 pump rifle partially refurbished at Lohmans this past month. They did a great job and finished way ahead of the time I expected. Folks were all friendly and knew what they were doing. Would highly recommend them for any gun repair or restoration work.
They took me in at closing and helped me switch a silly sig part on a moments notice on a Friday afternoon!! If you need a gunsmith in the Houston area... stop in at Lohmans first!!
Dropped off my pistol for a notch to be cut. They did it far far better than I would have. Great service and fast turn around. Will recommend to anyone and definitely using them again.
This place is a rip-off, no accountability what so ever. Wasnt going to leave a review simply because its not my style but i hope this help someone else from getting scamed in the future. The owner will back his employees 100% and hell do it with a smile, I too read the reviews and thought I was leaving my rifle in good hands boy was I wrong.
I Had a tricky issue with a swiss luger that they quickly took care of. Very happy with the experience. Would recommend them to anybody.
I dropped off a 22. Peacemaker colt my grandfather left me. It was in very rough shape broken handle trigger and hammer didn’t function properly and it had some surface damage. The guys at lohman did an excellent restoration on the gun at a reasonable price I would highly recommend them.
Awesome job work done very quickly. I will definitely be taking more work to them and give a recommendation to all of my friends.
I cant say enough good things about Lohmans. Their expertise extends to much more than just the common day-to-day things, and they are unfailingly helpful and friendly, even when presented with some fairly arcane work, fortunately for me. Highly highly recommended.
First impressions are everything. When I first arrived, the guy who took my order/gun wasnt very helpful and a bit rude. This is the only reason for the 4 star review. Everyone else was very professional. The price I was given was a bit higher than I expected. However, when it comes to cerakoting, they do quality work. Now I have to decide which gun I will have them cerakote next.
Very professional work. I was amazed at how well they blended the new muzzle break to match the size and color of my barrel. Very satisfied
Took in a rifle to get the sights fixed and they did a wonderful job on the install plus the customer service!
My ruger 10/22 trigger group fell apart on my coffee table on Sunday, by Thursday I had it back, fully functioning and all was well. I could have had it sooner if it weren’t for my work schedule! Lohman Gunsmithing gives it to you straight, and at a fair price! Mr. Lohman is a standup gentleman and will have your firearm done and ready to shoot fast!
Went to the business with a loose rear sight on a Colt 1911. The pistol was repaired while I waited and at a very fair price. I would recommend the business.
Great guys, great service. Cant say enough good things about these guys. Had some guns worked on and were returned to me in a very timely manner. Very friendly people who love talking everything guns.
They changed the sights on my s&w shield 45 for a set of truglo pro night sights, & I couldnt be happier with the results & service! Great guys that really care about their customers, and the only ones around that do all aspects of gunsmithing. I will definitely be a repeat customer! Thanks guys!
Making a decision to send a weapon out of state for repair, rebuild, or restoration is pretty much a big pucker. Here in California, we have armorers, but no smiths. So, I wrote 5 different online gunsmiths from all over the country. I picked Lohman on account that they got back to me right away; no hestitation; no wiggle talk on the project. The reassemble work/ case color hardening was out of the park. Delivery was on time and for the price quoted. I will be back. PS I heard back from one of the other gunsmiths after Lohmans had already completed the project and got it back to me!
Exceptional workmanship and really knowledgeable. Great staff that helps all the way through the process. Id recommend them to everyone.... Great job!
I tool my pistol in to get some new Advantage Tactical Sights put on professionally. They did the work while I waited and guarantee their work. I would definitely recommend.
Professional diagnostics and repair. Quickly identified problems and repaired both 300 Winchester mag and 12 gauge over/under shotgun. Two other so called gunsmiths could not identify or correct the problems. I would highly recommend Lehman Gunsmithing.
I could not have been more satisfied with this company! I took my AR in to get the gas system fixed and was given an estimated date of when it owukd be fixed, then within half that time frame I received a phone call saying my gun was ready! Once i went to pick it up, it was smooth sailing. Their work is awesome and their prices are extremely reasonable. This company has my future business with out a doubt!
Great work on my 308 saiga when all other said they couldnt do the job. Almost gave up till i found them and got it done. Thanks guys.
Took my locked up Tavor X95 to them and asked them to disassemble and deep clean the gun for me. Said it would be done in a week (I was good with that) and got it done 2 days later! Looks like a brand-new gun. These guys rock!
I have gone to this gunsmith twice now, The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, I highly recommend these guys for any repairs or questions you may have.
Five stars isnt enough for these wonderful gentlemen. I had looked everywhere to find a local gunsmith for Cerakoting and wham! Right in my backyard I found them.I called a couple times to ask about color options and quotes on pricing and a couple weeks later took it by and dropped it off, in about a week I get the call Ive been waiting for (a week ahead of the promised date) to tell me my gun was ready! When I arrived it was like I had just bought a new gun! Way better than my expectation and the quality of the work is just perfect! So to these guys, thank you and I will be bringing you guys more and more. Thank you so much!
Very good craftsmen. All work was discussed prior to implementation, no work was done without my approval, rates are very reasonable.
I had a hard job for these guys (trigger pivot pin pressed in the frame) and they came through. Most gunsmiths just told me to warranty it but these guys did a amazing job for a super low price. Will return.
Ive never had a problem ordering online from Lohman Arms. Ive ordered backorder items and they have always called me telling me that the item is in stock and if I would like to still have the item. They have always had me give them a credit card number because they dont keep card numbers on file. As far as ordering powder I call them first to see if its in stock, its never in stock, I guess it sells out to walk in customers first and they cant keep their web site updated soon enough.
