Very friendly and helpful staff..... The store was very clean and organized. I love the meat department.....I dont speak Spanish but I still received excellent service...I feel like I was speaking fluent Spanish and dont know any Spanish at all..... Keep up the good hospitality. Its a little pricey compared to Fiesta but the customer service makes for that.

Good BBQ and tamales worst ever. BBQ with big chunk beef that was so hard couldnt take it apart. Tamales had taste of coming or highly spiced. Gave me nausea. Threw food away. One pound of BBQ and 2 dozen tamales

This little store has the BEST bolillos in Houston, Texas. This is where I go for my dulce de calabaza and fresh pan de dulce.

Prices are way to high walmart and Kroger is cheaper.you get more for your money

I love this place. It’s so close to my home. There’s 2 things that upset me though. The marinated meat is way “EXTREMELY SALTY” I love tasty food but their meat is Way to the EXTREME!! Another thing that they need to work on is on their vegetables. Their chiles, tomatoes and cilantro are in real bad condition!!!! Hopefully they fix that.

Very pleasant gentleman at the meat service area and the cashier help us out with a coupon with one of the items we had. I definitely save money. Thanks El Ahorro Supermarket. You have a great employees 😊

I have purchased rotting/ spoiled meat here not once but TWICE in the same month!! You guys are going to cause a hospitalization one day or at least food poisoning!. First I purchased spoiled pork then spoiled beef... when I went to return they even move me a side where there are no customers to speak with the manager & I dont even get an apology just an OK & refund! If you dont want your customers finding out THEN FIX this!! Change your current meat guy employees or change your meat provider or whatever you need to do!!! Never buying any meat products here again!!!!

Its never really packed. So a person could get in and out quickly. The store is clean.There is also a sit in deli that has good food at reasonable prices.

They should hire people that speak English behind the part where they serve hot food

This is not a place I would recommend for shopping it is a horrible store it has a meat market inside but the prices are too high..

I like coming here for quick trips. Its a mini supermarket, they have everything you need at reasonable prices. Theres a place where you can also order some food (tacos, etc.) if you wanna eat before/after you shop lol everyone is always very friendly.

Terrible manager, very unprofessional. Prices marked are consistently different than the prices that ring. When I bring up, I am made to feel as I am causing an inconvenience versus being caused an inconvenience by this myself .... Needless to say I no longer go here.

Friendly cashiers, clean place and even has a small restaurant inside. not a store to get everything on your grocery list because some things are at a higher price compared to Sellers but they have a fresh meat market inside and it gets you out of emergencies
