I took a rug in to be cleaned. When I picked it up, I was a little disappointed that it had not come up a bit brighter, however I did not have time to follow it up at the time, as I was going on vacation. When I returned, I cleaned a corner of the rug myself, and there was an immediate improvement. I took the rug back in to just check that it had in fact been cleaned and asked the guy to just look at the difference in the color. He immediately became very aggressive in his tone, and a little frightening. I was quite shocked at his response and it really caught me off guard. I dont think yelling customers to get back to their ghetto is a good way to do business. Interesting that his response to all of the negative review is that they are fake. Sounds a bit of a familiar response in this current political climate

We have six dogs and always need our rugs cleaned, Oriental Rug Bazaar did a great job cleaning and restoring our silk rugs. I like this store. Always a big help

I’d recommend these guys because their online shopping is super convenient and the images of their rugs and carpets are high quality. You can even see a close up of the fringe and patterns on each piece. I saved 20% on the rug I went with. And, the rugs featured in the new arrivals section were already a steal. I found one that was squarer shaped, compared to a traditional, longer style, for our day room.

I’ve been driving by this store for years and stoped by today, great selection and service. I needed a bedroom rug for my mother, she just moved into a retirement community by the Galleria. We found an 8x11 Rug that was thin enough for her wheelchair to go over. They delivered and installed the rug the same day.

We went to this establishment recently, and the experience was nothing less than shocking. The lady who initially helped us was nice but she was pushed aside by a man, who proceeded to be nothing less than rude. He was verbally aggressive to us for not buying anything.I see where he asked another negative post to remove their experience, based on his years of being in business and how many customers he has. This to me is not addressing the problem. Save yourself a trip!

The customer service in this store is horrible. If you want to be insulted and belittle shop here. I had intention to buy three rugs here, but after encounter with salesman, I decided to take my business elsewhere.

Nice place, friendly people, huge inventory, very reasonable prices.

Staff and the place is ok but the owner is a very rude and disrespectful person. My wofe didnt understand somethong he said and he took it like she was makong fun of his accent; we went there to get a rug not to have an argument with person with inferiority complex he basically kick us out of the place. We are never coming back to this place and we advise you to take your business elsewhere.

Could not believe how dreadfully rude the salesman was. Im really surprised at the reviews on here. We must have gotten a different salesperson or he was having a really bad day. We were in the store probably 5 minutes max............he did not care to show us any rugs at all. We told him what we were looking for and he just kind of stood there and stared at us. Such a shame............from what we could see, it looked like they really do have beautiful rugs. We will not be going back............a total waste of time! Horrible customer service!!!

I had a specific color for my homes rugs, after searching online I decided to go to the Oriental Rug Bazaar, they helped me find the right rugs for each room, they had a very nice showroom and I felt like I got a good deal.

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced and the prices are so overly inflated they are laughable. Youre better off going across the street where they have great customer service and dont try to belittle you when you ask simple questions or try to negotiate a reasonable price. The Oriental Rug Bazaar has a great selection, but youll be so turned off by the interaction with store representatives and prices that its not worth your time going there. Save yourself from a waste of your time and bypass this store.

Wonderful selection of Rugs, we have been watching this company for 30years and finally went there and bought a living and dinning room rug.

Excellent help finding us a rug for our dinning room, this place has a great selection and they offered us very good pricing towards our rug we had purchased from them before.We dont need rugs everyday but when we do I will only use Oriental Rug Bazaar because of there great service.
