This location is in Suite C but, not a retail store. Its for the distribution center, open 9-4 (I believe). David and John were very helpful in answering my questions and assisting with kayak needs. Great customer service!

Awesome customer service. Bought a YakGear anchor trolley kit on Amazon started installing it. Most of the way through I noticed it was missing a part. Amazon was no help so I contacted YakGear directly. I sent a form on their website and heard back in less than 10 minutes on a Sunday. Theyre standing by their product and sending the missing part. I know where Ill be purchasing most of my kayak accessories now. Thanks!

I would advise anyone not to do business with YakGear. The product I ordered from them is inferior with very misleading installation instructions. When I contacted them to let them know my dissatisfaction, the response I received from Bill Bragman was condescending and frankly insulting. He even insinuated that it wasnt their product that I had purchased.Things go wrong in this world, I get that. However, it is how you respond and remedy issues. There was no understanding or offer to make things right on his part or on behalf of the company he represents. The only apology was sorry you were having issues. Very poor customer service that left me feeling that they do not value my business, nor any potential customer I may have referred to them. So for those looking for equipment for your watercraft, I HIGHLY suggest you look elsewhere. I know that I wont be doing business with them at any point in the future. I suppose thats what I should have expected from a shop run out of a garage in an industrial area full of warehouses. I dont anticipate this place to be in business much longer. One can hope....

I was in the market for two reels and was going to purchase the from were I normally purchase that brand of reel but figured I should try and help my local business and order local. That was the worst thing I did. I purchased them $600.00 and thats with rush delivery to. Got my confirmation email and it said I would receive an email once my order had shipped. Ok one day goes by 2,3,4,5 days and nothing so I emailed and called a machine asked me to leave a message so I did and I then received a email telling me that the reels I had ordered were not in stock and would have to be shipped from the manufacturer no later than in 3 days from then. Now I was a little upset due to no one informing me before. I had to take the initiative to follow up. So one day before the day it I get an email asking if I still wanted to cancel my order. I replied in a not so nice but not horrible email back that if my reels did not ship by the date promised I want my money immediately refunded. Today is the due date and Im yet to hear from anyone.

I have honestly NEVER had such great customer service. A few years back I wanted to put lights on my fishing kayak. Next thing I knew Bill was phoning me from Texas making suggestions on how I should proceed. He wasnt upselling but was genuinely helping.This year I found that my MS was limiting my time on the water fishing. Wanted to mount an electric motor on my kayak and again Bill phoned me up. He reviewed what was possible with my Jackson Cuda and came up with fantastic suggestions.Bill...thank you so very much for all of your hep and input!This company, and Bill as its represenative are totally awesome. Helpful beyond all expectations.Again. Thank you so very much.
