This place is horrible to deal with, I got a wheel chair from them through a rehab facility that I wasat and it fell apart days after I received. And they even not willing to help in any way with resolving the issue. They were very rude to my wife when she contacted them about the issue and then they charged my account without permission. I would not recommend doing business with company at all they are not a good company to deal with at all
The one and only time I had to call MERC, they informed me all I needed to know (Price, Ins. rules, delivery requirements, and business hours) before I even left my house.The staff was knowledgeable, multi-lingual, and prompt. As professional as they were, they also were a laid back group with a company shirt, yet comfy Blue jeans. I am only disappointed that MERC is only available in Houston.
Trying to find the right equipment for my husbands needs before coming home from the hospital and they lied about what the product is. Just trying to sell what they have on hand even though it isn’t what is needed. So beware***
My one legged husband has had this wheelchair for 8 months. One break has never worked, the other quit working recently. I called and they require you to bring it in to the office to be repaired. After explaining we have a car we use only for doctor appts. she asked where we live, they dont come to our small town. They sure do take money out each month. So, SOL! I would leave 0 stars if it was an option. They should stand behind their overpriced product!
Horrible Company. Takes forever and several calls to get copies of your information from them, for them to send the orders to another company. Does not deliver - requires you to come to the office to pick up supplies but is only open bankers hours.They will take your money and not tell you that they are charging you the full price for the year of your product but they will only file monthly to your insurance so you have to pay OVER your deductible to finally meet your deductible. Even if you return it you wont get the full price back.The owner has no clue what proper customer service is - was shocked to learn she was the owner. Will cut you off, will put you on hold when youre talking and make you think she hung up on you. Wont truly apologize for information not being shared - or shared properly - doesnt even know what her employees know and pushes most things off on her employees.
These are the rudest inconsiderate unprofessional uncaring supposedly people they act and answer as if theyre robots the robots would have been better I am going to have to find another medical supplier this one definitely stinks
They made me purchase an all electric bed frame for $450 when all I needed was the mattress. I already had a bed frame but was told I could not get the mattress without the frame. Had to pay half up front or no mattress. I needed it immediately and had no choose even on a fixed income. I said that was very wrong but had to sacrifice food and bills in order to have something to sleep on. Bad policy.
Merc medical has been wonderful to work with. They have quick delivery for our residents, answer all my questions and when they can’t help with DME, marisol helps to identify another company that can. I will continue to refer our residents and families to Merc.
This medical supply company derseves no stars! They are absolutely the worst, unprofessional, rudest people ever. Its sad how they try to take advantage of the disabled. I have been trying to speak to a supervisor for several months now and they always have an excuse. I never received a call back. They wont relay my messages. Been waiting on my supplies that I ordered twice and its been almost a month now. They are disrespectful, talk over you, hang up on you. Oh and my absolute favorite they charge my card without authorization and for charges they cant explain. No bill or invoice. Nothing just money missing from my account. Its sad to think people actually depend on this company to survive . You all are a bunch of scam artists. They should not be trusted!
The worse Medical supply company ever. never received a respond from the on call person. and I called over 7 times on an oxygen emergency with a family member. I never recommend this company. Very irresponsible company.
Horrible company to do business with. They do not return calls. Also they have horrible customer service very rude on the phone. I do not know why any hospital would do business with them because it makes them look bad too for referring them.
I was to be released to home tomorrow (Christmas Eve) and the order was placed ahead of time to provide a wheelchair so I could return home as I am 100% non weight bearing. They called me this afternoon to say sorry, we have no wheel chairs. What? No wheelchairs? No sir, we have no wheelchairs, have a nice day and Merry Christmas. Click. Two locations and NO WHEELCHAIRS? MAKES NO SENSE. And then to wait until the last minute to tell anyone?
Merc Medical team is the quality service I was looking for! Team is very responsive to my family’s needs and upon delivery of the medical equipment needed, they truly took care of us! We were referred to Merc Medical and they immediately got all the necessary information to equip her home to have a peaceful last rest. I was so grateful to experience their wonderful service in such a stressful time. They scheduled her appointment that day to come to her home so that her homecoming would be ready. The hospital I was recently admitted to recommended this place to rent an Oxygen tank before I could be released. I called for pricing and was verbally quoted $150 deposit, $150 for tank rental and would also need a credit card on file with them if I chose to keep tank longer than one month. I sent a family member to pick up same day and they had her sign a order form. I used it for less than one month and had a family member return the tanks and was told that my cash deposit was non-refundable. Never was this mentioned when I called for pricing. If I had paid with a credit card I would of disputed this charge. Very shady people. Do not use them. Also just checked the contract my family member brought back and no where in the contract does it state “Non-Refundable” deposit.

I wish Google had an option to leave a review in negative so that I could have given them -10K rating. All they care about is money. The customer service is absolutely rubbish and there is no coordination between them and the physician office. Never ever go to this company if you wanna avoid frustration and disappointment.
Merc did an excellent job with my geandmother’s equipment. Her wheelchair and Rollator were a higher quality than her neighbors at her senior living property. When I had questions regarding her insurance coverage and equipment allowances, the staff was knowledgeable. When the equipment was delivered, the technician surveyed her apartment for safety and removed potential tripping hazards. They, also, gave helpful instructions on how to use the equipment. My grandmother has given her neighbors recommendations for Merc and the same quality of care was given to all.
My wifes psi machine cup broke for the second time and without it, she has a very difficult time breathing, and I spoke to this guy/manger Jeffery, twice now, and when I told him it was an emergency, he kept telling me to bring machine in on Monday because they dont come out to do any emergency repairs and that they only do repairs when brought to office. Best thing hes good at is not to find the solution to fix the problem and did not care about wifes condition. He gave me every reason why he couldnt help instead of trying to find a solution. Ended up calling a local supply company and they were more then willing and even stayed open late and they had exactly what we needed tod fix the problem. My wife and I and her case worker are now setting things up with them instead. Grant it it was at end of day on a Friday, 15 minutes before they closed, but no solution in helping my wife, at all.
My family members received Very poor customer service from the rep Richard. His communication skills needs improvement, When you dealing with patients are their family members you should show comparison that he dont have. Hes dealing with patients that arent promise the next day. Therefore he should put himself in their shoes. What if that were his family member are even him. I know that our day too day jobs can be stressful at times, Take consideration in knowing that youre helping some terminally ill patients. Perhaps this business is just your way of making money, if thats the case you should find yourself another way too make your income.
This company has no patient privacy. In the lobby discussing Insurance, costs and everything else. I had an appointment scheduled by the owner, I arrived for it and I wasn’t on the schedule. The cost should’ve been explained to me prior to my appointment so I wasn’t unexpectedly hit with a huge payment. Never again will I use this company! I don’t recommend you use them either! Very disappointed!
Horrible customer service. You ask for service and unless you 3 months of last service has happened, they will refuse. How is it a company that is to help people live is challenging them rather than helping them? After my next visit, Im asking my doctor for another service agent
Not a good company to do business with. The hospital or state paid the company for a wheel chair and other equipment but he was given used rusted equipment that had to be oiled before it was usable. Unless you have no choice but to use them I suggest you find another service. There are many different companys that offer this equipment.
