Best pizza Ive had in Texas. Perfectly crunchy crust. Its airy and light. The flavors of topping are fresh. Would definitely recommend! I also had the cannoli and it was amazing. You can definitely tell its handmade.
Tell Omar Faruk to stop dropping links to your restaurant’s website as spam on my website. You people are seriously ignorant if you thought you could do that instead of buying legitimate advertising like normal entrepreneurs. What a crock of bull.Reply to Owner:You can claim not to know him, but he obviously knows who you are and is out there spamming for you. Look at the screen shot. Screen shots are not mistaken. Perhaps he is one of your alternate personalities? Or not. But definitely is your website there or I would never have known your little food establishment existed at all. Stay off my site, darlin. ;)
Some of the best pizza. The crust is bubbly and crispy and chewy. Yummmmm
This place is located downtown on Travis its a restaurant but the setup is like a Cafeteria. You can purchase food from any of the restaurants and eat it anywhere in the space kinda of like Market Square but there isnt a store inside. There is a wine bar and a small bar called the Italian Job with the coolest bar tender BIG UP to Matt the bartender. If youre looking for a place to chill with friends for a quick date night this is cool to eat chill and remain within your social distancing space. I had the Quattro Pizza 4 meats and a drizzle of honey on a thin crispy crust it was delicious. $7 bucks with tax per slice it could have been bigger but the flavor was very good. You have a choice to get a slice or a whole pie. Service was great atmosphere was cool. No pics of the slice I practically ate it before I sat down 🤦🏿♀️next Im trying the pasta 🍝 it looked very good but the slice called my name first.
Ooooooh my God those pizza are sooooooo good. BEST PIZZA EVERRRRR and I am Italian.
Love this place. Been coming here since their grand opening. Stopped by last weekend to try their new Goat Cheese appetizer with some friends & once again they knocked it out if the park. One can definitely taste the care & hard work they put into the sauces & construction of the pizzas & pastas. Cant wait to swing by to try some of Bens new seasonal dishes.
Best Pizza Ive Had in a Long Time...!
Boh oh boy! This delectable venue gives new meaning to “Pizza party”! The whole crew David Frank, Sam & Yani welcomed us as friends and family going above and beyond on service and salacious slices of pizza. David led the service charge and thought steps in advance to ensure we had a premium experience! Don’t miss this out on this premium pizza party in your mouth.
4 slices and 3 pasta dishes later…the food was so very yummy! The pizza crust was fluffy and the toppings obviously chef inspired! The fresh pasta was delicious!
This by far is some of the best pasta I have ever had. It is fresh pasta and not dry pasta. The birria pizza was out of this world. The mushroom pizza too. Hell, I havent eaten anything that wasnt amazing. The quest continues, as I await their next steak night!
Im sorry, but their food simply isnt good. Everything was either bland, or simply tasted bizarre. How can you make a pizza with ricotta cheese??? It was sweet, might as well have just made bread from flour and sugar, because thats how it tasted. Awful. You dont put 8 kinds of mushrooms on a pizza, an Italian dish, especially Japanese mushrooms. Pick one, service was courteous and speedy aside from the terrible food. The Bolognese was BLAND. Tasted like a can of chef boyarde. I could have gotten that from the store.I dont see this place being open for much longer unless they change their recipes, drastically. Nobody is going to eat a Japanese pizza. Sorry.
Homemade pasta with kitchen you can see how items are made. Amazing pizza too.
First time trying BOH. I had the green pesto and cesar salad. The service was friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant, would love to dine in at some point.
Great job of the kitchen staff putting together delicious & authentic Italian food smack dab in the middle of Houston. Fantastic service and atmosphere to go with your meal. Ben & his team know how to do it right.
Hands down my favorite pizza in town. Their pasta dishes and other items are very high quality and adventurous in concept. Always a good experience and their staff is super friendly.
We had a narrow window to have a bite to eat prior to going to Sleeping Beauty at Houston Ballet and had visited this food court before. According to Google Maps, they might have been in an adjacent area, but seem to have moved from their original opening location. We opted to get full service at the counter, in lieu of mixing the other food options available. The Funghi pizza was excellent and very flavorful. I restrained myself from adding red pepper flakes (habitual) so I could appreciate all the flavor the mushrooms presented. The selection of mushrooms used were fantastic, and definitely selected for flavor. Even though we ordered salads, the pizza came out very quickly. The pizza is prepped and ready to go into the oven once ordered, so it was surprisingly fast. The Lacinato Kale salad was appealing as written on the menu, unfortunately it was saltier than what we were accustomed. The seasoning indicated a pepperoni seasoning, perhaps the salt and spices werent mixed as expected or added separately. However the Beauregard Pea salad countered with the shaved Pecorino and mint. The peas were blanched al dente, and was refreshing. We finished with gelato, Salted Caramel and Tiramisu, the quality, price and portions were spot on.Were happy to found this option for future opportunities as we have been season members of HB for quite a few years and look forward to exploring more of the menu.
Ben and the team here are great. Always enjoy their food and customer service. Great local spot to try a little bit of everything.
Pizza is amazing, best in Houston. But I ordered a Cesar salad to go and all I got was some dirty lettuce and a side of teaspoon of dressing. Kind of disappointing given the price.
I usually don’t write a review, but this was a MUST. As an Italian born and raise in Italy, I got excited coming here since it is being advertised for Italian pizza and pasta. This was the worse pizza and pasta as my husband and I had both of them. You may as well go to Frank’s which is only 1 minute walking distance from BOH and the price is so much better and the quality is 10 times better. Money is not an issue if you have the quality. Please remove the tag for Italian as this is disgrace to Italian.
Food excellent. Staff very friendly. I will be returning
Pizza and pasta is my fave in Houston and they use the best products. The Funghi is the BEST pizza slice in Houston (plz plz plz try this). The prices are fair for FRESHLY made Italian. Employees are so kind and knowledgeable and seem to truly enjoy their jobs. Plenty of other options nearby that pound out cheap eats.
BOH pizza hits the spot every time, but the carbonara is my go to when I’m feelin pasta. There’s a ton of good pizza in the area but none that put the time and work into making a 72hour dough.
Ive been to BOH before, and I must say Im never disappointed. Today must have been my 3rd or 4th time here. I ordered the Spaghetti pasta with some fresh basil and parmesan on top, and it was delicious. However, as I was getting ready to eat this beautiful dish, I was rudely harassed by a fellow that came in from the street carrying a big trash bag over his shoulder. He came straight to my table and gave me a card he claimed was his DJ information. I tried to be kind and calmly thanked him hoping he would go away. Unfortunately he chose to continue to harass me, asking me for my number and name. I told him no and that I was simply trying to enjoy my pasta in peace here, yet he persisted. Finally, I burst into tears due to my frustration and he decided to leave. No one around me noticed until then. The BOH team was extremely helpful with the situation. Although they could not prevent it, they chose to ensure my safety by having a member of their staff walk me to my car and even treated me to a Canoli before I left. When I arrived home, I even received a text message from BOH asking if I had made it home safe. I truly appreciate their kindness and effort, it will not be forgotten.
It was dried dough with sauce and very little cheese. I had a double pepperoni, and I think I left double hungry. For the person or two who said it reminded them of New York Pizza, Im very confused what it reminded them of. As a previous New Yorker, I can say the pizza cost the same, $6 a slice. The difference is pizza in New York would be three times the size, fill you up, and actually taste good. This stuff is like eating day old bread with Ragu sauce.
The service is absolutely fabulous, and the cuisine a tribute to thorough perfection.
Cute little date spot inside of a food hall downtown. If you like quick & easy yet homemade & fresh pasta, it doesn’t get any better than BOH! Great quality dishes and even better prices.
The pepperoni pizza was the best!
Insane line to get in and staff was horrible. We waited an hour even after booking a reservation a week in advance.
As people have stated, the funghi pizza was pretty good. Didn’t look like it was super fresh, but nevertheless it tasted good. My reason for a 3 start rating was because of the pasta carbonara. It was so salty I couldn’t eat it. I get that pasta carbonara is supposed to be a salty dish, but this was way too much. My brother and father both tried my plate and they both agreed. It literally was as salty as the sea. Too bad I took it to go and couldn’t send it back for a redo. What a shame, I was really looking forward to trying some good pasta tonight.
This is the finest pizza crust available anywhere in the universe. It’s both crunchy and chewy with a fantastic flavor as well. Every single person I’ve gotten to try it agrees that it’s the best pizza they’ve ever had.
I got an Insanely small serving of the ravioli. Extremely small salad. Overpriced. Looks like a reduced covid menu also, as they didnt have items that were on the other online reviews.
Great customer service
Have tried several of their delicious fresh pastas. Best carbonara I’ve had. Most recently got one of their take and bake frozen pizzas. Crust was crisp, light and airy. Turned out just as good at home. Perfect for pizza night. Definitely recommend.
This place is terrible. Will give you there worst slice. Go to frank’s way better and cheaper
One of my favorite spots for tasty italian food. Service treated us so kindly. Bring your hunger - portions are filling.
This little gem never disappoints! The pizza is reminiscent of what youd find in New York. The pasta is always top rate, especially their bolognase pasta..would highly recommend 👌
Best pasta outside of NYC. Gem lettuce salad, simple and unadorned but perfect. Pizza is legit/priced less than what it could demand. Pasta -- hey -- better than in NY (and Im not talking the pasta you get in tourist-trap Little Italy). For this quality the price is spot-on. My only request: Dont go anywhere.
Fresh pasta made in front of you. The best pasta carbonara Ive had in a long while. I added a slice of pepperoni pizza. Portions were large enough to share. The guys working behind the bar were awesome and full of tips for ordering the perfect meal.
The food was decent but the pasta was super salty, and the amount I got didn’t seem fair to the price considering the bacon in the carbonara was sprinkled on afterward and not cooked with it. The staff was nice but not very professional. I usually love a more casual staff but this time felt weird. Half of the staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing as well.
Fresh pasta, very tasty, even when I asked for non-dairy modifications (which, by the way, they were very agreeable to do!). Gem salad is delicious as is the spaghetti. I would definitely eat here again!
Pizza was decent. Reheat by slice. First order was burned and second batch came out luke warm.
Try everything! Its all great. Best pizza I have had in Houston, and the pasta is to die for. Give the Squid ink pasta a try, you will not regret it!
People that work here arent wearing their masks for some reason.
Great Italian spot, we tried the pasta and pizza pasta was cook perfectly and the sauce had a great taste to it, pizza was the one on display we had two different slices, the one with mushrooms was not to fresh, I guess it was the time we visit it had been sitting for a while. But will definitely come back for the pasta.
Nice place
If you love good food and wine, but really want to eat inside of a sauna, this is your place!Honestly, at least 89 degrees at the counter. Staff and food are excellent.
Allan and staff took great care of us!!! The best pizza Ive had in a LONG time!
The original crust was perfect with just the right amount of crisp. We stopped here on a Saturday night and it wasnt overly crowded, so we were seated right away.
Best pizza ever!!!
Terrible service.
This place is epic! Great service and the pizza rocks. You can’t find a better place in town for atmosphere and quality. I can’t wait to go back!!!!
This Italian food house has options for both vegetarians and meat-eaters. It offers a happy hour special. No reservation, only come and sit. Foods include Pepperoni Pizza, Simple Salad, Squid Ink Fiorentini, Pasta Carbonara, etc. Recommended for people nearby.
Great atmosphere. Delicious food. They really pay attention to the flavors and how their dishes are prepared. 5 stars.
You wont find pizza like this anywhere in Houston. Absolutely fantastic place. Enjoyable experience and great for date nights out.
Not good
Do yourself a favor and try it!
Great food
Top-tier
Fresh pasta, good sauces, mediocre pizza.
Quality food.
Se demoran mucho, las pizzas y la lasaña de mala calidad.
