So many bad things to say.. Where do I start? My wedding set needed to be sized. My rings have been sent out 3 or 4 times now and still isn’t sized correctly. Was supposed to get an email notifying me when my rings were in, no notifications. Called the store to see if they were there yet, and after calling a couple times, finally they were back AGAIN! Told the sales lady I was coming that evening to pick them up. I had spoke to her at 1pm.. show up at 5:30pm and the gates were closed! Called the number on the door and was told they were closed due to Covid out break. Which I completely understand! However, knowing I was coming in, never did I get a phone call to tell me what had happened to stop me from driving in. The lady on the phone told me she would call when they re-opened after a cleaning crew came in.. Two days pass with no phone call, so I call today! They are open now, however I had never received the phone call!!!I also had a pair of earrings during my inspection, that had a loose diamond. It was unclear how much the price was to fix. So they were going to send them out and before they fixed them, contact me to notify how much the cost would be before they did anything. I never received any email or phone call. The earrings came back and they had already fixed them without contacting me. Fortunately, the price was fairly inexpensive.Prior to all this, I had enquired about having another ring of mine placed in a new setting. They said they would get back to me with further information. Never did get a call about that. And obviously would never trust them to do it now.
Takes a month for them to just get an estimate-if the remember to call you with it. Then they don’t care that they are the ones that damaged your ring in the 1st place, they don’t have the self dignity to fix their own screw-ups, they’ll charge you for it. Go somewhere else that has some self respect & save yourself some money, time and aggravation.

Excellent excellent customer service at this location. My husband and I tried to get a watch fixed at another location, even with the protection plan and within timespan allowed for return/exchange and they refused to assist us. The Howell location is worth the drive to receive the highest quality of care.
Out of all the stores Ive been to around here, this was by FAR the best! The woman who sold to us was patient, kind, and extremely laid back, did not pressure me or shove jewelry in my face that she knew I didnt want. I will always go to this location. They were all extremely easy to talk to, not like any seller Ive ever dealt with. I wish I wouldve gotten the womans name. If you are looking for a beautiful piece go here, I walked out with not only 1 but 2 pieces I couldnt decide from because she worked with us to keep them in our price range. I am very pleased
Needed a ring ordered in a special size, they were extremely personal and were able to get the size I needed ordered in. Being a Neil Lane ring I knew it wasnt going to be an overnight process, it took about 3 weeks because of the size I needed, it showed up and was so worth the wait!! Love this store and I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. Highly recommend!!
Sales associates are the bomb. Very kind and professional. Jewelry isnt anything crazy special but they have a lot of unique things that could potentially make for a very personal and creative gift at an extremely reasonable price. Ill definitely be back next holiday season. Lot less cheesy than anything youll get at Pandora 😁
Cant recommend Michelle at this store enough. She went out of her way to find us an enhancer for my engagement ring, which is oval and pretty intricate. We have been struggling to find a wedding band for it since before our wedding in September! When we fell in love with one but wanted it in rose gold, she spent at least 20 minutes on the phone trying to order it even though there was only one left. When we came to pick up the enhancer it was PERFECT. The wait was worth it to have Michelle help us. She even sent us a handwritten thank you note afterwards. if you shop here, ask for Michelle!
Walked in the store myself and now fiance we where looking at engagement rings, not one person greeted us or said they would be right with us, browsed around a bit and after standing there almost 30 minutes without a word of acknowledgment and asking to see a few items and being ignored; left and took our business elsewhere, horrible customer service especially when looking to spend that kind of money would not go back there if they were the last jewelry store open.
I went in to get my ring cleaned which was great. I was looking at buying my mother a birthday present I looked at one piece of jewelry, and then was told “the cheapest thing in the store was over there” as she pointed to a necklace, I looked at another thing and decided to leave after that comment.
Lady here where very helpful. They werent able to take out my watch links without damaging my watch but the told me where to go.
I was not harpy with Kay due to repeated issues with a ring. But the ladies here made it all better and made me feel like I was being heard about my concerns.
This place doesnt have diverse products
I had a very good experience. I had a necklace that the chain broke, so we took it in to be repaired. While there I was surprised that my fiancé wanted to get me a new ring. They worked with our budget well and, they had a jeweler on the premises that day that helped to fit and make my ring, which, let me walk out the door with my ring.
If I could give this store a 0 I would. I ordered a Mothers Day ring on May 8th. When i finally received the ring 2 or 3 weeks later I had it on for an hour when I noticed that some of the little diamonds where falling out. So I went back to the store had it shipped out to be fixed only find out it was defective and had to have a new one made. So another 3-4 weeks went by and I went to pick it up July 4 th weekend (again ordered this May 8th) and when I went to get it it was so big it wouldnt fit on my thumb. So I had to have it shipped out again for resizing!!! So, they tell me it was going to be in on the 26th of July, I call not in, not in on the 27th then tell me August 2. Called yesterday still not in they then tell me August 5th for sure. I said forget it I want my money back, the ring has lost its meaning to me at this point. So I go in to get a credit on my card and Conner (the man helping and has been the only person Id been dealing with for this whole process) has the audacity to tell whoever is on the phone that Im returning it because I no longer liked the piece of jewelry! As Im standing there!!!!! I was so mad that he threw me under the bus like that and I called him out on it. I couldnt believe it. He apologized and tried to back track. I would never recommend this store!!
Im pretty livid right now, THEY WONT KEEP THEIR PROMISED DATES! I went in to have some black enamel applied our wedding rings. They gave me a promise date to have the work done by. Three days after that promise date I went in to find out what was going on and they proceeded to tell me that the work wasnt going to be complete for a few more days. In that same conversation it then was said that we wont have the rings back to you until Christmas eve... thats well over a week of the promised date! I will never use this Kay Jewelers ever again for any work to be done, if I ever use Kays at all!
