Great place to buy a bow! There staff set me up with everything I needed that was in my price range. There was no pressure to have me spend anymore then I wanted to. I gave them my budget and the stayed really close to it. They definitely know what they are doing. Got my first deer with a bow that they set up for me!

A1 archery is the best place to go for your archery and equipment needs!!! I took my brother there last year and I just purchased a crossbow from them yesterday and the service we received was the best Ive ever experienced!!! Ill never go anywhere else again!!! They completely went through everything and instructed us how to use them properly as well as we got to shoot them!!! The people there are top notch and I highly recommend them to anyone from beginner to expert!!! Thank you everyone there especially lil Bob!!!

I read reviews about A1 and decided to try them. Drove 1.5 hours one way to have my bow tuned up. I had to wait a bit because all staff were busy. If you are impatient choose another shop! They are very busy, especially now. Outstanding service by Tom as he was the next available staff member. Tom was meticulous with my older Matthew’s. Shoots better than before. The rest of the staff was equally as professional as I observed them with other customers. Thank you A1! I’ll be back

They set up a old hoyt i bough used. Cost was fair, and work was done promptly even during bow season. They were friendly and knowledgeable.

Dan and the crew are top notch! He has always went well out of his way to take care of me and my hunting group!! Last fall the day before our annual trip out west for archery elk my cousins rest failed, in a panic my cousin ran down to their shop, Brian dropped what he was doing replaced it and 1 1/2 days later my cousin arrowed his first elk.

They must not need the business; went in on with my wife and kid to purchase bows for all us for the upcoming season; the guy at the front desk told us someone would help us. After standing around for quite a while with no help, we went and purchased bows, accessories elsewhere. Very disappointing as being a Wisconsin guy I like to keep my money local and in our tax base.

Had some free time while in the area for a youth sporting event and stopped in the shop to check it out. Super helpful and friendly staff was the first thing I noticed. They have enough inventory to satisfy any level of archer. I was looking for some different modules for a Hoyt bow and while they didnt have them in stock, which I didnt expect due to their rare use, they got on the phone with Hoyt right then and there and had them ordered for me in a matter of minutes. Where do I start? This place is simply the best archery shop. I don’t care if you are a beginner or 30yr archery hunter. The knowledge of any of the employees is amazing. They have everything you could ever need. I recently bought a new bow and had it equipped with the Garmin XeroA1. They spent 2 hours with me to get it dialed in at no cost. I have been buying from these guys/gals for years and I recommend them to everybody. The prices are a great too!

This is my second time buying from A1 and I can say I will never go anywhere else. From the good prices, variety of options, and top tier customer service, this is the place to go. Brian and Doug got my brother and I set up with two new awesome PSEs. For any beginners or long time veterans, this is a one stop shop.

I’m not a bow hunter, but after getting the run around from another outdoors related shop in town, I called up to see if these guys could order me up a new pair of Vortex binoculars that had just been released. The other shop unenthusiastically told me a time frame of 2 weeks - 2 months to get my new binos in, and I called A1 and the owner got them for me in 1.5 business days, at a great price. I couldn’t make it there before they closed, so they stayed late to make sure I was able to pick them up right away without me even asking. The owner is very personable, and made the entire process extremely simple. I am beyond happy with the service I received, and while I’m not a bow hunter, I will absolutely be back for future orders for things they are able to get, and refer them to as many people as possible. Great local buisness! Large selection of bows for all ages. My first time walking into a bow shop with no knowledge in compound bows at all. Tyler was very informative and took extra time to make sure I was fitted with a bow that felt like it was made for me. These guys know their stuff and share their knowledge. I never felt like I was pressured into buying anything and was advised to come back another time to try more before making my final decision.

To a person they are informative giving open and honest opinions (even to the point of down-selling on a big ticket item), and they are exceedingly personable and fun. I have two young archers and everyone at A1 treats them exceptionally well. I credit them for my kids enthusiasm for the support. A special thanks to Brian, who set up their bows, and to Dana, their coach.I have to add that the showroom is well stocked with the latest and greatest gear, and the shooting ranges, both indoor and out, are great - lots of room.

The guys at A1 are top notch. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They always go above and beyond to make sure you are 100% happy when you leave. I purchased 2 crossbows last year for my partner and I for Christmas. Not only do they remember me as a customer but they remember the make and model of our crossbows. I highly recommend A1 for anyone involved in bow/crossbow hunting or just shooting for the fun of it. They treat everyone from the beginner to the expert like family.

I drive 40 extra miles to A-1 from the Twin Cities because of how well I am treated (especially by Brian). Brian has helped me set-up several bows and is always extremely helpful and never tries to sell me more than I need. Not only do I get great service, but they are interested in helping me shoot better as well with tips and advice. You will be treated with respect no matter what your experience level. I will always come back to A-1 for all things archery - even with other pro-shops much closer to home. I have no connection with A-1 other than an extremely satisfied customer.

Started our archery experience at a shop in the cities. I had shot a lot in the past and the better half had never touched a compound bow. Experience was not the best. Went to A1 and that is exactly what you get an A number 1 experience. They walked us through different bows that would be good for my girlfriend measured her for her specific setup and let her shoot 3 different bows. Didnt feel pressure to by the bows. It felt like they truly cared that she should take her time and find the right bow for her and that they were more interested in getting her excited to start her archery experience than trying to sell her a bunch of stuff. Our first shop wasnt bad but after going to A1 we will never go back to the other!

I stopped into A-1 archery today and met Dylan. I needed my bow fit and adjusted, recommendations on arrows and a few other accessories. He was really helpful, knowledgeable, and it was a great visit. Ill be back when I need more tips and archery supplies. Thanks Dylan, good job.

I drive a semi I walked here from the TA just to get out and do something they have a great indoor range for the cold days they have bows you can use so dont worry about not having one this place is great I had a blast learned alot shot alot was just a great experience highly recommended to stop in here and just have some fun I will be back the next time Im able to stop here and be in the area

I was looking for a left handed bow to get back into archery. John was awesome made great recommendations within my budget and needs!They all take the time and actually listen!!And to make this place even more awesome Mike helped sight it in and gave great pointers and advice!!I just wish I lived closer. I took my bow in to get my peep sight fixed after another local shop screwed everything up and charged me $130. Tyler and Michael helped me out and were awesome to talk to. I’ll be an A1 customer for life!

I usually don’t leave reviews but felt inclined to do so for these guys. I went in to their shop today with a new bow. I am new to archery and was fairly intimidated about getting the bow setup and my lack of knowledge. It seemed to be fairly busy with people utilizing their indoor range but I was met with a friendly greeting immediately. After a brief wait I explained to the gentleman behind the counter (didn’t catch his name unfortunately) that I had this new bow and was excited to get in to archery but basically knew nothing. I uncased my bow for him and he took my wing span. He adjusted the bow to the appropriate draw length for me and adjusted the poundage. He explained to me through out the process and fielded my questions in a patient and friendly manner. He also added a little rubber piece to act as a marker for my anchor point. When he was done with that he explained to me the proper technique for holding and drawing the bow. He then brought me over to a little side area and determined which of my eyes was dominant. He then had me shoot a couple of arrows (while again coaching me on form) and adjusted the peep for me. Through this whole process he was extremely friendly and informative. You could tell he loved what he does and was passionate about archery. After that process was completed he brought me back to the counter and cut me some arrows (I had come in to purchase some arrows as well). He explained to me a bit about arrows and their make up and selection. He also checked the draw weight it was set at so I knew where I was starting.I was very pleased at this point but it didn’t stop there. After the arrows were cut and the bow was in shooting shape he had me go out to the range with another gentleman named Mike. Mike coached me again on proper form and watched me shoot a round of arrows. After my initial shots he began adjusting the sight for me (again taking the time to show me what he was doing and explaining why he was making the adjustments he was). He explained to me the different pins and the typical pin distance settings. Each time I shot around he watched my form and where the arrow as hitting and coached me on form while honing in the sight adjustments. He was able to get me dialed in to the point where I hit a bullseye after a few rounds even with my beginners form.I was honestly astonished by how genuine these guys are and how informative they were. You could tell this is one of the rare instances where passion coincides with work. This shop was recommended to me buy a guy I know who is an experienced archer and I can clearly see why. I will be back to their range without a doubt to learn more from Mike and they have earned any of my archery related business moving forward.Thanks a lot guys... I came in feeling nervous and a bit bashful about the whole ordeal and definitely was made to feel at ease. I left excited to starting building up the skills to bow hunt and look forward to returning.

I was looking for a very specific bow after researching for roughly a year & they were the only ones to have it in stock when I finally chose to pull the trigger & buy it. They helped me get the bow fit to my body with the draw length, the lil kisser button, my peep, everything. The day I stopped in they were swamped, but still made time for me. I didnt feel rushed or pressured. Simply said what I wanted/needed, they made suggestions, allowed me to decide for myself, and set everything up so when I left I could go home & shoot. No extra tinkering on my behalf. I went from using a bow that was over 30 years old (still serviceable) to something modern & much more quiet, fast, all the above. Definitely pleased with my purchase & although I drove 2 hours to come visit these guys, I wouldnt hesitate to do it again.

I was a new customer today, but I will be coming back here a lot more after my experience. I came in to install my new HHA bowsignt, and had excellent customer service while I was waiting. I asked one of the pro-staff about my busted latches on my bow case, and he was willing to try to fix the latches, no questions asked. Although it was unsuccessful, it was the gesture that counted. The store is very neatly organized, things are easy to find, and these guys know what they are doing. There is an excellent range in the back as well.

Amazing customer service.

This store and staff are simply the best. I drive past 4 other archery stores to visit/shoot at A-1. I was in the market this past Christmas for my sons first bow, and my first real bow. A1 made it fun, stressless, and easy - and given what little I knew, they walked me through everything. They let me shoot many of the bows to see what I like/dislike, and even ordered a new bow into the store just so I could shoot it and compare it to the others I was looking at. They set everything up, worked with me and my son to teach him us basics (and correct some mistakes), and didnt pressure us into anything. And I cant say enough about the friendly customers who offered advice during the process - they were great too. In the end, I bought a new Mission Craze (son) and Mathews Chill R (me), and all the accessories, and couldnt be happier. If you are new to the sport, you will feel comfortable shopping at A-1; its worth the time and effort.

The problems started when I bought my bow from them. Several years back bowtech bows had a big problem with the paint chipping off the bow limbs. Knowing this I asked the employee at the time if the bowtech bow I was looking at would end up having the same problem. He told me that bowtech had 100% fixed that problem and as a matter of fact the bow he hunts with and owns is the same exact one I was looking at. So I buy the bow. The following week Im in the shop shooting my new bow and the same employee is telling an unsure customer to buy a completely different bow than the one I bought but gives him the same story. I love this bow... in fact I own one and its the one I hunt with. The bows were completely different brands... I called him out about it and he calmly said thats what he tells everyone. Its NEVER acceptable to lie to consumers. He also lied about the paint because the limbs on my bow look worse than I could of ever imagined. What finally drove me to write this review was I took my girlfriend here to do some shooting. She hadnt shot a bow much so I figured it would be fun for her to shoot some balloons. I asked if I could buy some balloons and the employee was incredibly rude about it (most bowshops gladly give you a handful of balloons and tell you to have fun). The employee told us how balloons were for children and that we better not make a mess. He went on and on. Told us how we better not shoot the 3D target (obviously we know that) and wouldnt stop. I couldnt believe all the scolding one question got us. After this my girlfriend was so embarrassed she refused to take a single shot. Of course the employee had no problem charging me for the both of us shooting. Thanks A1 for ruining what could of been a fun date and also for turning my girlfriend away from the sport...
