Never went in no access for the older lady i care for. Stairs

The owner Shakar is rude. He also lacks follow through. He promised to call other stores looking for a specific fabric. He never did. He didnt seem knowledgeable despite being the owner. Overall just a poor experience. The other staff seem nice enough and did end up following up on the fabric. Dont shop here if it can be avoided.

They have a extremely good collections of drapery and upholstery fabrics upstairs. There is so much here, you will definitely find what you are looking for. And the trims…. You hardly find any, elsewhere. To die for!!! There is also a great selection of fabrics in the discount room downstairs. The people there are quite helpful and helped find the right theme and color for my house. I brought pictures with me to show them to the owner - she was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating of my various questions. I will definitely shop at this place again .

Was hopeful of finding a local place to establish a relationship with because i have several items to re-upholster....however....was not even asked or looked at to find out if i needed help while walking around the store for 10+minutes. i did stare at a woman to make eye contact to hopefully get some attention and spark a fire under her a__.......but nope. very rude and will never go there again

I love being able to shop for fabric and consignment furniture at the same time as I can at artee and still life in Hudson. They share a warehouse space and have an extensive selection of nicely priced, designer type fabrics. They also have beautiful silks, some upholstery fabrics and popular indoor outdoor fabrics and trims. I have worked for interior design firms for a long time so I have access to fabrics at trade/wholesale prices but often times to refer friends to this store if they don;t want to buy retail or work with a designer. I also think they have a beautiful selection of furniture pieces. I havent needed much assistance with the staff but they seem to be friendly and helpful but not pushy.

A great place to find basement bargains, so cmon by and stock up on some fantastic finds. I found a JCrew leather hobo bag for $5.00 and its awesome!!There are lots of other eclectic items that are worth a second or third look. Its true that some items are worth it, and other items not so much.Artee Fabrics & Home bought out Still Life Consignment shop...

I have family in Hudson who have been here for decades. Locally no one will even consider going into this store. Every story begins with something akin to how miserable these people are until they think you will spend a lot then they fake up extreme politeness. Every story ends with this phrase; I never should have fallen for that B.S. I personally have been attacked by the owner and she doesnt even know how bad her staff is. Before this owner went on the attack with me one of her employees tried to sell me Samples for a dollarI dont trust the owner artee and I certainly dont trust her employee agada.They are not only cheats thieves and liars but they treat people like they are dirt.I was told off about something that Agada did and then told not to come back. As if I ever wanted to see any of them under any circumstance.

Ive lived here for two decades & go into Still life often but only on occasion go into Artee. Seems most people never meet Artee. Shes rude loud offensive & targets people then goes on the attack. That is unless she figures she can make a big sale then shes your best friend. I was one she pretended to be sweet to but then I saw something that made my blood run cold. Lucky for her Im not easily moved to action but I watched her yell at & berate a fellow vendor in her warehouse. She was insane about it. The vendor was patient & let her go on for a long time while trying to calm her down or redirect her in order to get her to realize she was in public. She wouldnt stop. It was like seeing an insane woman without her straight jacket. I Will Never Shop in her business again. No wonder people dont go into Artee but steer directly into Still Life. For every 500 customers that go into Still life maybe 1 or 2 go into Artee. Now I know why.

I havnt even entered the shop. And Ill change the review when the online hours change. But I rushed home from work. I half a half hour comute. I got here at 5:30 to look at fabric and find something to make my wedding dress with. Well the online hours say 6 and the hours on the door say 5. So Im highly dissapointed already.

When I was in the store my first time I saw a woman purchasing upholstery fabric and noticed the Indian woman switch price tags on the discount item to charge the buyer a higher price. I said nothing but regret it.Another time I decided to try to find something for a friend among the bric a brac I saw this same woman telling off a staff member about a booth and when she got angry enough, reached into the booth grabbed something and smashed it on the concrete floor. I decided to review this place because I see a lot of lousy behavior from them including the names on the reviews are employees of the store. This is supposed to be a list of legitimate reviews but people like Shekhar Mehta who designed the google web page (and is one of these good reviews) should be ashamed of committing fraud.

Always polite and helpful. (I have never seen or heard anything but nice things about staff.) My friends and I have been shopping here for years, love the modern home dec. fabrics. Always worth the trip. They also have silk remnants, sunbrella piping and tons of trims, great girly girl ribbon, pillows, and lamps. Downstairs is a consignment store large with lots of home goods. Artie also has a clearance area down stairs with individual consigners.
