What a great place to go for a lowkey evening! Good food and drink, awesome adult beverages, and, of course s stellar collection of board games! Paired with a clean modern, slightly nerd-pop culture asthetic and good service, its the perfect place to relax by yourself or with others. They even have some fire pits to sit around during the evenings, which really puts this place over the top as an awesome place to hang out.

This place has great games and the best milkshakes in a 225.8 miles radius. The friendships ruined by heated games of Uno is a nonfactor.

I love this place so much. The outdoor patio is a wonderful way to spend a warm night. Drink menu is great. Snack menu is just ok. I miss the heartier snacks/meals from the past, but I can imagine why it changed after the pandemic, so no complaints.

Always nice to get out and play some games with friends! Only suggestion is that the library gets added to a bit more often.

Love the place, has an awesome atmosphere, caring employees, and all the games and drinks you could ask for.Some of the games have seen some time and are worn and/or missing pieces (customer error I presume) and some of snacks are a bit underwhelming but if you get a shake or a pretzel you will NOT be disappointed.

Great experience! Great selection of games for kids and adults of all levels. I found a number of great games there (Pyramid Poker, Lords of Waterdeep) for folks to try. Great snacks and drinks ( alcoholic and non-alcoholic) for folks to try. $5 fee to play games as long as youd like. The staff was very friendly and informative. Chrissy, one of the staff, even took the time to show my daughter how to play various games. Highly recommend and will be going back frequently.

I was there yesterday with a friend of mine.They have a nice selection of games available. And the staff was friendly. Though whait times for orders can be long.The drinks are excellent. I had the Frozen Dead Man milkshake. And it was delicious.My only issue was with the mac & cheese I had.I had the pulled pork mac. Which was $7.And for that $7 I got a cups worth of what lookedlike Kraft mac & cheese. With I little melted cheddar on top. With chopped pieces of ham in bbq sauce.Not worth it.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice escape room was awesome! I took my employees to this as a team builder. Everyone had a blast. I highly recommend this experience. The staff was all very nice and helpful. The milk shakes are delicious!

Its always a blast to hang out and play some board games. The Malted Meeple feels more like a friendly local game store that started selling refreshments than a bar with games.All employees were masked, and all customers wore masks while selecting games. Tables had enough space to maintain social distancing between parties.

This place is a treasure of the area. I read other reviews and yes, the price of shakes/beers are expensive, yes there is a table fee but that is because you can play games there for as long as you like without purchasing anything else. Thats how treasures like this can stay in business. I wish I lived closer so I could go more frequently! Also I enjoyed being able to test play the game I designed a couple of times here.

Third or fourth time visiting since they opened, and so excited that they had a full staff working because this is our favorite date night place in spite of it being previously understaffed. It was great to get attention (beers) and great service and to talk about the games. Cool, cool, cool place.

As someone who has done escape rooms in the past, the Area 53 room at The Malted Meeple is by far the most impressive one Ive done yet! The narrative flowed very well with the technologically impressive puzzles. To top off my evening, the milkshakes and popcorn was excellent. I look forward to trying out more escape rooms at the Malted Meeple as well as taking part in some gaming sessions.

Great service. The manager on duty was super friendly food was awesome. It was packed and a little loud but that just made it more comfortable for our group because we didnt worry so much about getting overly excited. Made a new friend who DMd our game. Great experience.

We visited one of the escape rooms they have. The whole quest process was a bit easier than we expected. The room is claimed to be for 8 people. There were 6 of us, and it was too many. It is ideal for 4.They serve milkshakes that are delicious and a decent variety of local craft beers. They also have a bunch of board games, so if you are looking for the place to spend the night that is enjoyable both intellectually and gastronomically, this is a great place.

Meeple was GREAT! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and they have a great selection of games! One of the staff recommended a game, and we had so much fun playing it that we are planning to buy it for ourselves! And the milkshakes are BALLER! You can get BOOZY MILKSHAKES (or regular ones!) and theyre super yummy!

We enjoyed our evening out here. Excellent service, fun atmosphere. Plenty of tables without feeling cramped. Milkshakes were excellent. Only down side is that the food is a little expensive for what it is but I do understand that they will tend to charge a bit more because their table turnover will be slower than other bar-style establishments. Great selection of games but if you want to play anything heavy weight be sure to bring it yourself.

This was our first time here. We had a ton of fun playing a new game. Its a nice relaxed atmosphere. A huge selection of games ranging from easy to complex. The milkshakes were delicious! The food selection is pretty limited. It would be nice if they had some simple burgers and sandwiches would be good. Otherwise I got the Shepards Pie which they get from Mavis Winkles in Twinsburg. Its was very good! We will definitely be back.

Cool place and a lot of games to choose from. Helpful staff when we arrived but overall very slow service. We ordered 2 milkshake flights (they do have dairy free options) and only 1 showed up about 45 minutes later. I did not try any of the snack options. I still give it 4 stars because I think they were honestly just short staffed/had new people. It is a fun place to hang out and the $5/person/table fee isnt bad at all. It is clean and the tables are nice. We played Settlers of Catan and the game was mixed up with the expansion set, but we just had to talk to one of the employees and they helped figure it out. I would go back.

We always have a great time here with the family playing new board games. If youre not sure what to play they have a board game menu to start you in the right direction or you can just browse the huge wall of games. The milkshakes are delicious and snacks are appetizing (no big meals here). Each time we visit Im curious to see what themed milkshakes theyre currently offering.

A fun place, have a collection of games but for regular boardgamers I wish they had more of a variety of newer games. Also, it can get very loud in the evenings, which we expected, but wish they would have a separate section for a quieter crowd that also enjoys a beer and some games.

This was exactly the kind of place I hoped it would be. They had board games and card games to try out, though I never asked about purchasing a game there. They have a wide variety of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Much more limited on food, but I completely understood that coming here. The shepherds pie was delicious, they also had brownies and cookies and scotch eggs and soup. I would not find it appropriate to bring in outside food. They have separate rooms to rent if privacy is desired. I loved my experience here.

Lots of fun. Friendly staff. I love the Meeple. Its a regular hang out for me and Ive made a valuable group of friends there. If your looking for an unplugged (they do have guest wifi but its not the focus of the place) fun experience give them a try. They are friendly to all ages. There is always laughter here and plenty of interesting games and milk shakes to try.

So much fun! Delicious coffee drinks, yummy snack foods, they also serve alcoholic beverages. There is a great selection of board games, from childrens games, to old favorites, and some unique games I havent had the chance to play yet. If youre thinking of going just do it!

The new building doesnt have the character of the old, but it does have a lot more space. The game library is very well organized, the milkshakes are top notch, the selection of beer on tap is very good and the staff is friendly. If you enjoy gaming you will have fun here.

I love this place! Im giving it 5 stars even though I spend all my money here! It is a $5 sitting fee and you can play as many games as youd like for as long as you like. The staff is SUPER friendly and put up with all my annoying friends! The Dream Bar (or heaven bar) is amazing and I highly recommend. They have lots of snacks and some soup, but I recommend eating before you go, just to save a little bit of money. Its really easy to rack up quite a tab. I recommend anyone go here!

I love visiting here! I come every Wednesday night for the weekly Dungeons and Dragons game, and I always have a good time. The staff is amazing; super friendly and attentive. The beer selection is great, and always rotating. And the milkshakes are delicious, also with a great selection! I plan on coming here for a long time!

I love this place. Great date night. Great environment. Great place to game and meet friends. I like thicker milkshakes than they provide but they are always making interesting flavors. The malted meeple hosts a great game library including a wide range of games from Scrabble to Descent. I have been a semi regular customer since they opened at their previous location. This is in my top 5 local hangouts. Prices feel a little high sometimes and service can be a bit slow but the atmosphere is very relaxed and I would recommend checking it for all people from hobby board gamers, hard core RPGers, or non gamers looking a new hang out or anywhere in between.

This is such a fun place. My husband and I go on dates here all the time and we ended up buying one of the games we learned here. The staff is all trained to be able to help you learn any game you pick. The drinks are very fun and you can now get alcoholic milkshakes with almond milk for those people who are intolerant! Very fun place and atmosphere!

Very good idea for a gamer venue. They serve beer, but its still a fine environment for kids. We had some fantastic malts and I had a beer. Well be back on a rainy day to play some boardgames and soak it up.

As a board game fan this place is great! I have a decent collection of my own but there arent many that overlap with what they have here. Definitely a fun place to go and just relax and play some games. After two visits we purchased a family pack which is a very nice option to waive table fees.

They are always so welcoming and knowledgeable! My husbands bachelor party was cancelled because of a flooding issue but they were super accommodating when we came in to visit after the wedding! Weve always enjoyed the staff, they have a good selection of board games and the environment and the old barn feel is lovely!

Literally so cheap to go there. I wouldnt even be upset if they charged an hourly rate to play games. But I love it all the same.

Great idea for a board game bar. This is a great place to go, unwind, play games and hang out. You can even meet new people and buy sone of the games you play here. I strongly recommend Marvels Legendary deck building game paired with an adult milkshake!

Fun place for card games, board games, and and Adventures of the imagination. I suppose that since their primary objective isnt food, Ill give them a three out of five, along with the prices. The prices arent exactly amazing nor is the quality of the food and drinks, but you werent necessarily going there for the food and drinks, thats just a positive addition, so they get 4 stars for at least making it available verses three stars as if the food and drink was one of their main Appeals.

Great location and good selection of games BUT they need some sort of sound absorption. We were there on a busy Saturday night and could barely hear each other. Maybe some panels on the ceiling would help.

I love it here! The staff are all super friendly, the snacks are very creative, I like the adult gaming crowd whilst still being family-friendly, and there are lots of activities/game demos which was really interesting and opened me up to trying new games :) My ONLY complaint (which isnt really a complaint) is, I wish the place was bigger! :D Youll enjoy yourself with a small or large group.

Ive been here quite a few times over the years. Its a little pricey, but its always fun and the staff are helpful in picking and playing the games. The drinks are great, but the popcorn could be fresher for the price.

Great board game bar tucked away off of Route 91. A small table fee per person gets you access to all board and card games stocked on their shelf to try out. Bar has a good selection of craft beer as well.

The meeple is a chill place to experience gaming at its best. Laughs, drinks and joy with the best staff around.

Their food menu isnt big (the reason for the 4 stars); theyve got only Shepards pie as their only entree-type dish. Theres 25 feet of games to play. Many of their games are easy to learn. Theyre some old favorites: deck of cards, Uno, Sorry, and Monopoly to name a few.

NERD PARADISE. A literal wall full of every board game you can imagine, nice roomy tabletops, awesome people on staff, AND delicious milkshakes?! It does not get better than this. For a nominal table fee, you can play as much as you like, and there are also RPG and wargaming groups that meet up as well. I also did one of their new escape rooms with my husband and we had a blast. I dont think you could come here and NOT have fun.
