Very professional and friendly staff, you could tell they really cared. I couldnt have asked for a better experience as a first time shooter. I came in nervous and left educated and calm. Matt was our safety supervisor in the lane, and his attention to detail, safety and customer experience was unparalleled. Another great person, Chad, understood I was nervous and so suggested a few good models for me. I hope youll choose this range if you are a fist time shooter. These people know their stuff.

Cant rent firearms by yourself unless you bring your own gun or a friend... I wish this was stated on their website before I visited. Im not sure if I would recommend.

Bought a Glock 19 Gen 5, absolutely love it. Took the time to show me every detail & gave me the first 30 free days to shoot in their range.5/5 guns and 10/10 staff.The staff are all absolutely excellent & I plan on going back today to shoot!

Ive tried pretty much every directory entry for their phone number and Ive been completely unable to get a hold of a person. Excellent facility and staff! I completed their basic handgun course (100). It was exactly what I needed. Chris is a great instructor! He is knowledgeable, patient, fun and informative. He provided clear instructions, never boring, emphasizing safety at all times, thoroughly answering every question. Range time was very helpful. Chris provided us with 9mm handguns and ammo, explained each exercise and provided helpful, encouraging feedback to each of us. I highly recommend the course. The range was great. Clean restrooms, friendly staff. Great selection of weapons for sale and rent. I would definitely return.

I paid for a gun here last year and when they ran my background check, they called me and told me that I could pick up my gun on the very same day. The next day, I went to pick it up and was assisted by a different employee that decided to quiz me, interrogate me and give me a speech about how the gun that I bought wasnt the gun that I was supposed to buy. After working an overnight shift at my job and thinking that I could just go there and pick up my weapon without any problems, I was pretty irritated and the employee sensed this. However, he interpreted me being irritated with him as me being a nervous and aggressive type of person. He did not want to give me the gun that I paid for. I interpreted his attitude towards me as prejudiced (Im Puerto Rican) and I could not understand why I had to be interrogated and quizzed after I was told that I could come pick up my gun. I was pretty upset. In the entire 26 years that I have experience with firearms, I have NEVER been treated that way, especially when my background check has come in clean. I asked to speak to the owner and was denied this. Some other managers and employees came to this mans (the assistant manager on duty that day) rescue because I vocalized that I felt targeted for my race and gender, but I still think that this was the case. They finally decided to let me leave with the gun that I had already paid for after almost 2 hours of an unnecessary debate. I was completely insulted and will NEVER return.

This place has great service, nice and knowledgeable staff, and very convenient for a day at a range. I come from mass to shoot and I would say its more than worth it. Prices are very agreeable. Pleasant experience all around.

Husband took the 100 class with Chris, took the MA LTC class with Tom. I took the 100 class with Forrest. The instructors are great! You really get your money’s worth in these classes! We have also gone to the range itself several times, the range officers are very nice, helpful, and keep things structured and safe! The employees from the moment you enter to the moment you leave are focused on customer service & making sure you have an enjoyable experience! HIGHLY recommend this range!

I have been to this range multiple times solo, with my wife, with friends, and with family. This range and the staff are top notch! I purchased a new rifle around Christmas time and received 60 days free Lane fees! I took full advantage and never once had an unpleasant experience. They have a fully stocked shop with all the latest and greatest as well as a huge selection of used firearms for sale. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Ordered weapons. They received and paid. They said I failed aut from state. Never a letter from state. They then refused to give me back my monies. Three weeks saying they will resale the guns for me.Had to have the bank remove the funds and return it to me.Never going to this place again

My experience with this range was positively wonderful. I attended the youth class and used their range. I had Chris Pettey as the course instructor he was very friendly and happily answered even the most basic of questions, and that attitude echoed all of the range very friendly to new comers with enough features for seasoned shooters alike. The prices are very reasonable and if you plan on attending the range frequently the membership is right for you. They have many firearms for rentals and ammunition runs a little expensive, but that is to be expected with such a high end range.

All of the staff have been very friendly and extremely helpful from the moment I walked in. Facilities are state of the art. Subsequent visits were the same. Strongly recommend Granite State!

Had a great time here. First visit, took a review of their rules signed a waiver and was good to go. Great rental choices. My brother came and he was able to get his Military discount for his time. Counter and Range Staff were both attentive to our needs in ensuring we knew what we were renting functioned well. At the time we went the selection could have been better maintained and cleaned however it was a great experience overall. Prices were on par with most other ranges.

Could not be more impressed with the professionalism of the staff or grateful for their time and willingness to help. I had not fired a firearm in over 15 years, and have never owned a gun before. I went in with no idea what to expect, and felt like a fish out of water. The place was a madhouse, and yet I was given answers and assistance at every turn and was never left feeling unwelcome or like I was a massive pain to deal with.The staff was attentive and helped walk me through my purchase. By that, I dont mean they gave me a gun, said this it, and let me go. They helped me find exactly what I wanted, taking the time to show me both how to handle and maintain my new firearm. They then spent time, at no cost to me, showing me how to handle and properly use my gun on their range. Blown away by their level of customer service.While I talked to several people that day, I would like to specially thank both Devon and Chad for their exemplary customer care and assistance. From feeling awkward and uncertain with the idea of becoming a gun owner, they helped every step of the way leaving me feeling far more comfortable than I ever expected to be in a gun store/range.

My girlfriend got me a groupon for my birthday. We used it today for a Valentine’s Day date and it was a lot of fun! I was surprised how well run the range was despite potentially first time shooters being there. The whole staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, especially Devin.Well, almost all of the staff. Matt (taller and slightly larger guy) was not the most friendly person. He seemed annoyed when asked for assistance or advice. At one point my girlfriend was having trouble aiming an AK-47 and was supposedly hitting the ceiling. Instead of providing feedback about the root of the problem, the way she was holding the firearm, he condescendingly told her to aim lower. This attitude continued when we noticed a problem on our receipt and came back to correct it. Matt walked by us twice while we waited at the counter without even acknowledging our existence let alone asking if we needed assistance.Devin on the other hand saw us waiting and came right over to quickly fix the problem. He was great, and made an initially great impression on myself and my girlfriend when he helped her with the first firearm we selected, a 9mm pistol. It was disappointing to have that tarnished by Matt’s less than stellar attitude. Luckily, the other gentlemen made the experience great. We will definitely go back.

It was a cool place to fire some guns and rent some. It was a whole day experience with my friend who got me a guess pass with his membership.

I was told I could purchase ammo after my range session. When I finished my session I was told I could only buy ammo for use in the range... I was still wearing the range badge for God sakes. I would never go back communication is horrible there I definitely would not recommend them to anyone.

Nice range, usually very crowded but nice. Id recommend coming here to shoot. Less crowded in the spring/summer. Staff are nice.

I signed my daughter up for the youth firearms course paid for it online. I left to be there earlier than the class started. Unforeseen circumstances caused me to be ten minutes late. Tried calling three times to inform the staff no answer. We got there and they wouldnt let us in the class was told its a short course and they were well into it. How into it can you be in ten minutes. Not like I was 20 30 or 40 minutes late that I can understand . What did we miss introductions. Then they told me I would have to reschedule and pay again. Couldnt reschedule for the days later class. The whole point was so she could shoot with her older sister who is home for the holidays and leaving in a few days then going overseas for the next year. Nice range for a good price. But I will never go back. I will pay double before I go back there.

The range itself was great. Very safe and effective. The only thing that really disappointed me was the pricing. The staff did not communicate at all the pricing of everything as we went on for the day. By the end of my groups shooting we had a 200 dollar invoice. Online it just says 30 a person for a lane then 20 for rentals. I’m a beginner and it was my first time at a range and they did not communicate the extra charges they just keep adding on.

Ive always wanted to go to a gun range & for Valentine’s Day this year, my boyfriend surprised me by taking me to this place ! I had no idea, so obviously when I stepped inside and actually realized where I was ... the nerves definitely took over me ! My anxiety was through the roof . I was so scared but Sean and Doug were so great! They were so patient with me. They knew I was nervous, and Sean had no problem explaining things over until I was comfortable enough to get back in the range! I Will definitely come back ❤️ Thank you staff for being so kind

It was so great we had our 15 year old take the same class and who knew hed be the best shooter! Very clean, extremely friendly staff! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a range. Ive been shooting a few times with friends, but I recently went with my sisters who knew absolutely nothing about shooting or how guns work in general. The staff was super helpful and informative and it made the experience so much better. Aside from that they have a huge variety of guns to buy or to rent for the range. This is a great place to go shooting. One price allows for a lake you can use ALL day long. They have a great selection of handguns, Shotguns, and long guns that can be rented.The staff is friendly and very helpful. They also run a tight ship out on the range and I feel very safe out there.All in all, I highly recommend this place for a great day of fun.

Went for the first time a few weeks back and Im hooked! The guys there were all friendly and helpful, not cocky like other places. The facility was clean & organized. Im a 58 yr old veteran. I walk in and the place is operated by a bunch of young guys... am I going to get the usual New England attitude...crappy customer service... or what? What a pleasant surprise... totally helpful, totally professional, totally knowledgeable. The range is great and totally safe -- range officers are hovering (like they should be) -- but helping and not micro-managing.. I rented a firearm I was interested in buying -- a great deal in and of itself -- $15 for as many types within a caliber as you would like for as long as you would like. Been here a few times now, and will keep coming back even though I belong to a range in MA.... BTW, love how they honor & respect Military & LE types like me... hope they do well.

Typical indoor shooting range, I wouldnt say its any special. The staff is very professional and good at relaying safety and gun use information to customers. My only issue with this location is their paranoia for steel. The employee had his mind set on the fact that steel case means steel core and did not allow me to use my ammo that i carried in, leaving me no option than to buy theirs. Its their house and their rules, I get it, but please do some research and educate your staff on ammo.

I am a relatively new shooter and these guys were amazing. I dealt primarily with Kevin and Derick. They were phenomenal and were extremely intelligent and had the perfect answers for my questions. Kevin actually was on the range with me and helped me with siding and procedure. I came all the way from Chichester because somebody told me that these guys were the best when it comes to dealing with new Shooters. I was not misled! Thank you so much guys and I will be back

I visited Granite State a few weeks back with a friend of mine and we went shooting at the indoor range for about an hour or so. The range was clean, well-lit and up-to-date, and the staff quite courteous and helpful. The cost of range time was fair. The selection of firearms and accessories was comprehensive and prices looked good. I enjoy a good conversation about guns and shooting with range personnel and the guys behind the counter were happy to oblige. Great time; will definitely be back there again soon.

Went here with my Marine dad during November, which is their veterans special month. We got a free lane and gun rental, so the whole experience ended up being really reasonable. The staff was friendly and informative to me (first time shooter). It was a fun experience overall. Well definitely be going back!

Granite State Indoor Range is great for those new to the world of indoor ranges like me. The staff was extremely helpful. The place was clean and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this place for newbies and more seasoned folks. I went with a member of the club. The membership is great deal and I would recommend that option if you are local to the area and are looking for a good indoor range.

Great business model. I love the idea of paying for a lane for the day and not being rushed like some other area ranges. The actual gun store side of it seemed a little overpriced, but when you account for the free range time and the ability to test guns out before you buy them (if theyre already available for rental) is awesome. These guys have a good thing going.

I bought a one-year membership for my husband and weve loved it. As a member, he is able to to reserve a range so we never have to wait. The membership also comes with four free guest passes and I enjoyed shooting targets with my husband.We used to have a club membership for a local outdoor range that we hardly used, but the convenience of the indoor range and being able to reserve the range means weve been able to go more often.The range is very clean and the staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help. One thing I like is any question I have is answered in a professional and respectful way.We have recommended them to our friends. The one-day pass is very affordable and worth checking out. Its a lot of fun. I noticed I was not the only woman there with her husband showing her how to shoot and one time there was a bachelors party.

First time trying an indoor range. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Drove over an hour to try out this range and will gladly be making that trip again.

Amazing staff.. I had the opportunity to talk to Steve and Chris. Chris who is the assistant manager all the staff were friendly and professional. Seeing this is a new shop only two years old prices are a little high thats to be expected for a new shop till they are around for a while and get more buying power. We are talking a 30-50 dollar difference which is not a big deal for me for the selection of firearms they have. A good selection of accessories name brand stuff not low budget which is a good thing. Worth checking these guys out.

It was my first time shooting experience and the employees there made it feel easy. I mean the process was so simple. Enroll and provide your license. I havent been to any other place to compare it with. But I liked it and would definitely recommend to first timers and the price was not expensive either.

I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit to Granite State. The facilities are great and the staff is awesome and friendly. I think their reputation has caught up with them because the last time I went on a Saturday, the place was packed. If anything...the may need some more seating for people waiting for a lane. Its worth the wait. Much nicer than that other place in Manchester.

I had a great experience at Granite State Range. My mom and I were first time shooters and happened to visit during the grand opening of the new shop. It was busy and I was nervous that the staff would be too preoccupied to help us learn. Instead, we were supported by staff by the moment we got to the counter. Jeff (manager? owner?) took time from the grand opening even to come into the range with us and give us step-by-step instructions and watched us and gave us tips. He only left us when we assured him we were all set to be on our own. I was impressed with the service and attention that was paid to us first timers.

Great indoor range, amazing staff that are knowledgeable on their firearms. There is a huge selection of firearms here to choose from including fully automatics.However, due to this place being so popular, getting a time to shoot on the weekends is very hard. There are also a numerous amount of customers who come in and do not really know how to use a firearm, but the staff take care of them swiftly.

Nice new(er) shooting range. Good membership price and clean place. Gun smith on site with specific hours. Staff is kind of rude, membership can not be cancelled, and some of them act like they know more than everyone else. I had a guy tell my buddy who is a Fed. For 15 years that he should not train the way he does as its ineffective, they also corrected a cop as I was in there told him he should not be doing what he was doing. They only let you draw from holster if you pay and take their class even if you are law enforcement. There are better options for ranges out there in the area.If this place looses its perceived superior outlook it would be a great place.

Very good experience. The range is relatively safe with the range officer being active all three times Ive been there so far. They are informative and answer all questions promptly. prices are fantastic for range time. They have a myriad of training classes available as well. The shop is very expensive but that is to be expected. I will be returning and recommending Granite State Shooting Range over the other nearby indoor range.

This place is clean and well run. The people are friendly and helpful. Above all it stresses safety. It has automatic target holders that can be programmed at various distances.Several different gun types can be rented along with ammo and targets for purchase.

First of all I have to say there is nothing wrong with the range itself. Its a nice place to shoot if you dont mind paying ridiculous prices and waiting for 2 hours. The reason Im giving it 2 stars is because of their new pricing. If you go on a weekend it will cost you 25 dollars per person. Going with two people will cost you 50 dollars and thats not including if you have to buy any targets or anything else. At that price I would recommend just supporting your local gun club. Most yearly memberships are around 150 dollars and they allow you to bring guests. Itll pay for itself in no time over coming here on a regular basis. Until they work on their pricing model, I will not be coming back and my rating will stay at 2 stars.

Very knowledgable and professional staff, helped set her up with a very beginner friendly rifle. We both had a blast!! Highly recommend this range to anyone who enjoys guns, and will certainly be back on a yearly basis.

Incredible indoor range. For a I think $25 a person you can get a lane to split with up to 4 people I think. The best part is that you can rent any firearm they have on site and use it for a trial. Even better, you can rent a 9MM and you can try all the 9MMs they have in the store. If you choose to buy one there, the price of the rental is taken off the price of the firearm. I will be going here again as often as possible and if the deal is right, I may purchase my first handgun here.

My friend and I went down to shoot, we renting a lane. The staff were more than accommodating. We shot and came back out and decided to rent a P320. Went back in and finished shooting. Great experience; its always nice to be able to rent something you thought you might like to purchase, but no sure how it shoots and feels. Pleasant staff, great range.

Modern, clean and very well-run gun shop and public range. Far and away THE best option for trying out a bunch of different guns before you make a purchasing decision.If they could take this place and plant it in Metro Boston, theyd be packed every.single.day. The attendant Shawn kicked my off, because my arms weren’t straight. when I shot the first shot. He told me I wasn’t using safety but with two others that were with me Who are Seasoned, would say they disagree, just as much I do. I would not recommend coming here, due to the staff who work here.

This is not a place for beginners...all of the staff was unfriendly besides one person(older gentleman) with one of the staff constantly coming over and saying i was doing something wrong. The lanes were full with other people..but he chose to stand over my shoulder constantly..not to mention walking in and out of the room staring at me for a real uncomfortable experience..as a novice shooter i know some of the rules. Like dont point around the room which i was not doing..i would never set foot in that place again

Great place to rent guns. A little on the pricey side. Dont go alone or you cant rent a gun. You can bring your own and shoot alone though. Full auto is very fun. Gets very expensive fast!

Fantastic Facility all around. One Suggestion and constructive criticism: On busy days when the range is full and there is a huge line of people waiting in line. Designate a handful of lanes to have a time Limit so that the wait times are not so ridiculous and inaccurate. This will rotate more customers will into the range. I went Sunday for the first time and was told 1.5 hours wait time and after waiting 2.5 hours still had people ahead of us so we had to leave. Good sale lost so hopefully they will consider this suggestion.

These guys were great. Brought a friend from England here to shoot. Was a bit disappointed he couldnt shoot handguns (as he was 18 and I couldnt pass as his guardian) but the selection of same caliber classed rifles quickly made up for it. Loads of fun and the staff were very helpful (if a bit slow to serve up simple weapon swaps and more rounds). Very friendly introduction to shooting and guns in general. I recommend you bring your own hearing and eye protection and targets so you can spend more on ammo. You can shoot solo here for about ~$60 a hour or so when renting guns.

These guys run a great range, with great prices, and friendly, helpful RSOs... Very Military/Prior Military friendly.Ive been there midday on a weekend and have been able to walk in and get a lane instantly.Im torn however - on the one hand I want them to be wildly successful, while on the other part of me wants it to stay a secret a bit longer so I can continue jumping into a lane without a wait. :-)Well worth checking out.

Awesome staff. Always willing to help and its easy to tell they have great knowledge on guns and shooting. John helped me find a comfortable holster, Derrick is helping me find my AR to pre-order, and Kevins always down to talk guns and keep a good atmosphere in the shop. 5 stars.

This place was great! Very helpful staff along with a good selection of firearms to choose from. The 15$ deal for use of any handgun that stays within its caliber is very usefull. I got to try a few guns of my choice for 15$ and that helped me make my decision for the next purchase. Thanks

Very friendly and informative staff, great options including rentals, targets, quality ammunition, accessories and new/used firearms. Worth becoming a member. I signed up before my first visit because of everything I heard about GSIR.

Nice facility enjoyed my visit to the range, giving 4 stars because some of the staff needs work on not giving their opinions where it’s not asked for, but overall a good range trip, I will be back
