It took a little longer than I expected as I asked before I made the appt, about how long, and it was much, much longer. But Im very patient for good service. They did exactly as I asked. I was not sure if they could do one thing, and when they told me they couldnt, they took the time to show me why. They also have me some information, that I didnt have, that may save me quite a bit of money. All 3 of the guys that I dealt with were extremely nice. I will go back again, when I need to and recommend them to others.

I had an appointment at 10:30. They had me park my car to wait. 1 1/2 hours later, they hadn’t touched it. When I told service guy that I had been there 1 1/2 hours and was leaving, he merely responded ok. I had used them for oil changes in the past, but they definitely lost my business.

They stood around talking before pulling us up. Then they drained the oil before noticing they were out of the oil my car uses. They recommended one that cost a whole lot more and only took off $10. Also took way over 10 minutes.Bessemer location and Dolimate are so much better.

My oil change was awesome. Needed my brakes done, the guy doing my brakes couldnt talk and work at the same time. Walked outside looking at him not working and talking. Not happy with that and wont bring my car to get brakes.Went bake in to the shop, big fat white guy came in no mask at all breathing hard. Had to leave out because he had no mask.

Everytime I come here I have to wait an hour or come back. Paid almost 100 bucks for an alignment and the guy didnt adjust anything. Had to come back and have the manager fix it.

On January 28, 2021 I visited your location ( 3045 Allison bonnett memorial dr) to get an oil change and fluids topped off. As I pulled up a guy came up to my window and was very helpful asking what I needed and if I had ever been there before. I told him I had been there numerous times. For some odd reason he couldn’t find me in the system by my name, number or even my VIN which is crazy because I have had countless oil changes in the past AND the manager Brian has worked on my car there before! But that’s not the issue needing to be addressed. I told the guy that I needed an oil change and to check my automatic transmission fluid level. He let me know that if it had a dipstick that they check all fluid levels and top them off, so I was a happy camper. While getting the oil change the guy only offered one thing (new air filter ) which I declined because the one I have is practically new anyway. They perform the oil change, do someClanking around loudly under the truck (which was to be expected) but they were saying a few things I couldn’t necessarily hear (which I normally can) they do their little safety inspection, and I pay ($64.69 which is kinda high if u ask me, especially when they DIDNT DO EVERYTHING) Once I got home and was looking at the receipt that’s where I saw the issue(s) that caused me to compose this! First issue is that my transmission fluid DOES have a dipstick, they never checked it when I specifically asked 2 times for it to be checked. On the rcpt it says (no inspection) please tell me why you don’t do something a customer asks you to do that is within your job parameters? I mean my car may not be the newest, but it’s mine and I value my car and anyone working on anyone’s vehicle should treat it like their own. They shouldn’t just halfway do anything like the following items on the rcpt that we’re NEVER brought to my attention that quite frankly is disturbing! None of these were mentioned to me:*Coolant reservoir - rec service*Drive belts - rec replacement*Wiper blades - cust okd*Tire R&B -rec R&B*Trans fluid - NO INSPECTIONIt is blowing my mind how NO ONE even bothered to check the one specific thing that I requested be checked? Normally when a customer specifically asks for something, it’s because they urgently need it done! With employees like this, maybe we all should just start our own “mechanic shop.” Because at the rate it’s going someone is going to get severely hurt fromThe negligence of the people working this location! I thought so highly of this location until now. It seems like they are just like every other one out there... in it for the all mighty dollar and not for their customers safety, well being, and return business! I really do hope that this place gets it together, otherwise they won’t have any return business to keep themOpen!!!

Poor. I paid $80 for a full synthetic.…. I get 50 miles down the road because Im traveling and no windshield washer fluid…...smh they tell me I can come back and theyll fill it up for free.... LOL at that point keep it Ill never be back

They said they fill my washer fluid well they didnt and my battery level witch its in the trunk so how did they check it when i never popped my trunk and never ask me to blow the horn either or reset oil change message

First I want to say that everyone I spoke with was very nice, so you may ask why the one star review. I dropped my car off at 8:30 a.m. and left it for a wheel alignment. I was told they would get to it in a few minutes, and that it usually takes about an hour. After I didn’t hear anything I called back at 11:00 a.m. and was told that they were extremely busy, but that they were in the process of doing the alignment as we speak. I then receive a call at 1:00 p.m. saying that there machine was messed up, and that they couldn’t do the alignment. So I was without my car for half a day only to have to take it somewhere else, and do this all over again. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I feel that this was not acceptable, and this is the only recourse that we as customers have.

Prices ok but they customer service stinks. The managers are more ruder than the employees. And I know we cant lower all items for short people but putting heavy objects high and no one to help accidents keep happening.

Was mentioned to be the best around town and after the service received, I believe it. This may be my new oil change stop. I was here for breaks on my last visit. Pulled in to get an oil change and was placed next in line. After watching 3 guys stand around and do nothing for 45 minutes, I decided to leave. Ridiculous.

Everyone there at 7:55 on Monday, 8/14 was awesome! There were so nice and polite. I actually pulled up before it was time for them to open and a guy walked up to my car(Chet i think) and asked what i was going to need once they opened. Chase was very nice and polite during the service. Any questions I had he answered. They discovered an issue with my vehicle and immediately brought it to my attention before they proceeded. They even discussed with me and found the best option for me and my budget. They really went the extra mile with their service and professionalism, even before opening up on a Monday!! These dudes rock! Definitely recommend them for your automotive needs.

Get my oil changed here. Tuesday ladies day $5 off. Free quart of oil inbetween changes. Fast friendly service. Reasonable prices. Public restroom inside clean waiting room. Also sells tires. And offers many automotive services.

I came to the Havoline in Hueytown, Al with an issue with my entire steering wheel. The buttons would not work. My turn signals were out and the column would not sync with the computer. Chip and his team were relentless! They would not stop until they found and fixed the issue. I would highly recommend this store to anyone! I appreciated both their honesty and their professionalism. These guys are the real deal!! Nice to know there are some great people in the world. They have gained a customer for life 😊!

Sadly, it is most times rare to find ethical and honest car mechanics. After receiving deceitful information from a competitor I went to Havoline in Hueytown. Michele and Larry gave me honest and helpful advice. Their assistance and guidance renewed my confidence in finding not only qualified but ethical mechanics. I would and will encourage everyone I know to use Havoline in Hueytown exclusively for their auto needs. Their competitor does not care about you and Havoline values not only your business but you as an individual!

Went in today to get a tire balanced and the guy (who’s name I failed to get) balanced it free of charge. If your looking for hardworking genuine people this is the place!

Couldve been MUCH quicker but Im sure it wouldnt have taken as long if a big oil truck wasnt blocking the bay for them to get our truck in. But overall great service. Finally fixed an issue that Firestone couldnt fix even after 5 trips.

In and out in 12 minutes. I pulled up and told the guys I was in a huge hurry and they told me it wouldnt be a problem. They checked all my fluids, tire pressure and tire life, informed me of the condition of my car, and had me back on the road back to work in 12 minutes. I was overly impressed with the service and professionalism of technicians and the mechanic I spoke with.

I called ahead and asked Do you sell and have Mobile1 full synthetic oil? The employee said we do. I get there and after they dropped my oil, he says Im sorry, but we dont have Mobile1 synthetic. We are out, sorry. Then he suggested havoline synthetic oil, I said ok. Then he comes back and says we dont have it either. Finally he sells me motorcraft oil. You would think the employees would know what they have and are out of. On the good side, my oil got changed and quickly.

Ive been getting my oil changed at Havoline Xpress Lube in Hueytown, Alabama for years and wouldnt get my oil changed somewhere else if I had a free coupon. The Hueytown location always CLEAN, the staff is POLITE and PROFESSIONAL. Today I went in for an oil change and when it was time to turn my engine back on, I couldnt find my keys. Apparently I had placed them on the roof of the car while putting my granddaughter in her car seat and left them there. Michelle and Andrew were great. They didnt rush me, didnt make me feel like an idiot nor did they act inconvenienced. They both spoke to the baby while we waited for my brother to go by my house, get the spare key then bring it to me. Michelle offered me something to drink and reassured me about the situation. It is rare these days to be consistently greeted with excellent customer service but that is what ya get at Havoline Xpress Lube in Hueytown. KUDOS to the staff and to whoever does the employee screening - GREAT JOB!

The guys in Hueytown are AWESOME.....heard a noise, car wasnt driving right, stopped at Express Lube and they checked my car......i was blessed they found my control arm was broke....they fixed it and i had my car back 24 hours later.........I will always use them!!!
