They replaced my husbands Thorogood work boots sole and heel and left them like new again...we were truly happy with the work and price!

I was in and out in 15 minutes. I was watching and listening to the owner interact with his clients. He treated all of us as if we have been friends for years!! The Boot Shop in Humble exceeded my expectations! The customer service was personable and warm. So much so that it reminded me of the kind of service you would get in a small country town where everybody knows each other. Thats not been very common for me to find in the Houston area. I went in to get heel caps put on the tips of my high heel shoes. I had worn them down to the point that I was starting to see a little bit of the metal. He was able to take care of it the same day that I dropped them off! My shoes looked even better when I picked them up! I also appreciated that he called me by name. Its the little things like that which make a big difference. I will definitely be back for my shoe care needs and will recommend them to others.

Ive taken boots and shoes here for repairs. Theyve either been done while I wait (heel tips) or done within a couple days. They do a great job!!! Great customer service, always friendly!! They do have a sign up saying payment is expected when you drop shoes off. This was inconsistent. I had to pay when I dropped off but there were three people in front of me who dropped and left. It may be because of who is checking you in.

Beware: I would NOT recommend The Boot Shop.Dont make the same costly mistake I made.I took TBS a brand new pair of Ferragamo tan leather shoes (which cost me $650) to have the rubber sole guards added to the leather bottoms. After 3 weeks, what I got back was very disappointing and cringing. They returned my new shoes with dark stain markings (see uploaded pictures). Im guessing from their dirty hands or the paint they use to color the heels/soles. The rubber soles were added but the work is very sloppy, incomplete and poorly done.Matt the owner tried buffing the stains out but it just made it worse... that made the spots on leather turn a darker. Some areas have light buff marking where the leather was discolored because of the buffer trying to remove the stains caused by TBS. When I initial took Matt the shoes, he said oh these are very nice and look expensive, Ill make sure to take really good care of them thats right Matt, they WERE really nice shoes till I made the mistake of letting your shop work on them. I truly regret taking you my shoes.The worst part is that wasnt the only mistake they made on the same visit... A second pair of shoes were ruined. I also give them a pair of Cole Haan wingtips that needed to just to have the wooden heels lightly sanded, painted and a high speed buff to remove a couple of scuff marks. But they ignored what I asked to be done. They went ahead and added rubber sole guard (which I didnt ask for and which they already came with rubber soles from CH) to them without consulting with me and the crazy part is they didnt even buff the heels which is what I originally asked to only be done in the first place. Matts answer oh, I do recall you asking for a buff only, but your getting free sole guards. Im guessing free sole guards is his answer for customer issues. The crazy part one of the sole is peeling off.Honestly, I left after I voiced my complaint and not stay something I would regret... So I returned a week later to speak with Matt. At this point I didnt know if they could repair the shoes. He tried for the second time to buff the stains out but theres no solution. It make it the shoes look worse. Crazy parts is... Matt got upset when he asked me if I was going to leave him a bad review and I answered yes. Hes answer was how do you sleep at night? And that hell sleep better at night knowing he tried... wrong Matt, youll sleep better at night because you dont care about customer services and by making it right to your customer. How are you going to tell me, a customer that youre not going making money on an issue your shop did... like its my fault. Thats on you for not making money of my shoes.First, Never offered to compensate me for the shoes.Second, If the job wouldve been done right and correctly. I wouldve been more than happy to pay you just like Ive done before in the past.Yes, I can still wear the shoes but thats not the principle. I work my butt off to buy myself luxuries just to have someone else ruin them. I just think the lack of respect and carelessness is what this TBS has for their customers property. As a small business owner myself, I support other small owned businesses but I will not support or recommend The Boot Shop. If I messed up with one of my customers items... I will make it right even if it costs me to replace it. I would accepted my mistake and learn from it to avoid it in the future.if someone gives them any business... I would recommend taking pictures of what items you give them. To have proof of what was given.Honestly, Youve lost all my business. Plus I will always talk negatively about TBS to everyone I know and post negative reviews till you make this right. You have my contact info if you would like to discuss.

I’ve dropped off two $800+ boots- one to resole and redye, and the other for a good shinning and cleaning. Both came out looking better than when I bought them new. Gator skin and ostrich, and they took really good care of them. Hands down the best boot shop in town, and always very, very friendly and professional. Great craftsmanship all around

I had an amazing experience dealing with this establishment and will definitely be referring them to all of my friends and family. I dropped off a pair of boots for a zipper repair on Friday morning and Saturday morning I received a call that they were available for pickup. When I dropped them off, I was advised that it could be two different prices depending on whether the zipper could be fixed or would need replacing. They were able to do the repair at the cheaper price and even kept the store open 15 minutes after closing when I was running late for pickup. Also, they cleaned and polished the leather so well that the boots looked better than the day that I bought them. I cannot sing their praises enough.

I dropped off my shoes 6 weeks ago. I was promised to receive a call/text message to go over what to do to fix my heels. A week goes by, nothing. I call and get a voicemail. I left a voicemail and 2 days went by and nothing so I called again and the lady I spoke to couldnt find my shoes... (mind you these are shoes I paid $1,000 for) 2 more weeks go by so I stop in. The guy apologizes and says hell get right on it and will text me with options asap. Finally after 6 weeks have passed and nobody has contacted me I picked up and will be taking my business elsewhere.

These guys were the friendliest people! They even stayed late to finish a second pair of boots so my son could take them back to college. They do fantastic work.

I have dealt with this place for almost 4 years. They have always been slow, but friendly with good work, so I continued. Starting this past October, the service went from slow to not at all. I had 3 purses. One needed cleaning & a latch repair. The others needed to be re-dyed. I checked in every 2 weeks to see if they were done. Purses sat for months untouched. I just picked them up a week ago, still untouched. He even had me go buy a special paint to dye them because he did not have time too. I did. Brought it back. Nothing. Unfortunately, I will not be back. The work is excellent when its done, but 6 months for nothing is a little excessive.

These guys did a great job resoling and refurbishing 3 pairs of boots in a week to like new status. Very proud of their work and it shows. Highly recommend.

Well, Ill never be going back here. The plastic in the walls of the heels on my boots was wearing through the inside of the leather and rubbing on my heel so I took them in to get fixed. They put leather from the top of the uppers down to the heel pad, but they stretched the leather too tight and it didnt fit right. They had my boots for 2.5 weeks and still didnt fix the problem. I went a week after I took them in and noticed the problem then so I told them, they said come back in a couple days, so i did and the problem wasnt fixed, so they had it again for another week to work on and never touched it. They just kept stretching them out and putting in more glue to fix something that couldnt be fixed without redoing it. The leather was stitched too tight, so the curve on the back of the heel was being pulled inward due to the stretching. HORRIBLE!!! They did one boot perfectly, but the other was so horrible that Im going to have to take it somewhere else. I didnt get any money back either. oh, and it cost me $40 bucks for the so called repair.Dont take your boots here if you need repairs, go somewhere else. If you need a heel, they will do fine, but their solution to fixing something is to glue it or stretch your leather boots out.

This place is very good. They do professional work, above the standard, on time and for a reasonable cost. The staff is skilled and experienced and very helpful.

I took two crossbody purses there to repair a broken strap on one side. They did such a shoddy job. Very poor workmanship. The stitching no where near matched the other side of the strap. It was very messy with glue on the nylon part of the handbag. The strap just looked like a hot mess! They should’ve been honest and said they were unable to repair it. Also, the bags were not ready as promised. I should not have been charged for the services. I do not recommend this place at all!

Brought in 7 pairs of shoes, 4 of which only needed heel caps. The others needed to have the heels wrapped before caps could be installed. Was told the shoes would be ready within 2 weeks and I would receive a call when they were ready. Paid $40 deposit for all shoes ($110 total price). Came by multiple times, they hadnt even started on anything! After 5 weeks, I told them to just return my shoes. They actually put the caps on the 4 pairs WHILE I WAITED! Did not return any of my money (4 heel caps do not cost $40). Unacceptable. Will never patronize this business again.

At first, I was happy to give my business to a smal business owner. But after 3 weeks of waiting, I called to see if they were ready. The man that answered said he would look for them and call me back. I waited 30 minutes, hadnt heard anything and finally called back after an hour. He was extremely rude to me saying that he couldnt look for my boots because there were customers waiting in line. I had my ticket number ready, and I asked when I could call back or when he would call me back, and he started rudely raising his voice at me saying he has to look for them and find them because there were 50-100 boots he had, then eventually he said he had to go and hung up on me. I called back and someone else answered, he looked for 5 minutes to tell me they werent ready. Both men were extremely rude terrible customer service. I would suggest not wasting your time with The Boot Shop.

Great work on my two backpacks that needed work. Mr. Matt did an iutstanding job, took the time to explain how he would fix them and went through it again when I picked them up. He is very knowledgeable and has great customer service. The young lady at the front desk is genuinly cheerful and also very respectful. So happy to have a place for shoe and bagagge repair where they are great, honest and charge fair prices. Highly recommend it.

Very impressed with The Boot Shop. They fixed my high heel beautifully and with the friendliest service around. I came during a very busy time but the Man behind the counter, I regretfully did not ask his name, was very friendly and kept talking to us all while repairing our shoes. I took my shoes to Hakky Shoe repair in Deerbrook mall last time and was greeted with extremely rude service and higher prices. I was so pleasantly surprised at the great service, great work and great pricing I received from The Boot Shop that I will only go here from now on and will refer The Boot Shop to anyone I can!

Very slow, they gave me excuses everytime I tried to pick up my shoes and boots. They said it was a 10 min. Fix took them with no problem. Went to pick up 2 weeks later and he said they were busy and had not got to them yet. More excuses, while he and an employee were reading the newspaper in the front.

Owner David Radowick is a joke he promises thing but cant deliver, his famous words are I have too much work, thats why I cant deliver repairs on time. I will never use this shoe & boot repair place again and hope this message reaches all of you to do same. God Bless

VERY Disappointed, I took my shoes to be repaired and was told numerous times that they would be ready, went to pick them up and they werent. Six times to be exact. Shoes were left for over a MONTH and a HALF. Poor Customer Service!

I took pair of boots to replace the zipper they asked $90 for it. I took somewhere else and got fixed for $40. Way overpriced services.
