My truck broke down it would not go over 35mph and I was at north park drive and 59 at 5:30 just got off work on a Friday. I called spoke to Abe he helped me out 2 other times. I told him what my truck was doing and that I’m trying to make it there before they closed he told me don’t worry Mrs.Ortega I’ll wait for you.. I did make it right before they closed. A lot of times at this day and age a lot of people don’t want to do there job Or don’t want to go out of the way to help people but Abe is and has EVERY TIME!!!! I have to bring me truck in. If anyone deserves a raise or a promotion this young gentleman does!!! he is very professional very polite and extremely helpful!!! This dealership is lucky to have Abe on there team!!!

Went in for the recall replacement for the airbag on passenger side. Also requested oil change, tire rotation, spark plug change. Everything but what we went for. Tried to give the agent the recall letter, but he insisted he could see the item in the system. He did not take the letter. Consequently, the airbag was not replaced. I am now told that will take another two days of service. Very disappointed to not get the service I requested.

What a great experience and fast service, I bought my Ford Explorer last week. Friday afternoon, called Daniel which by the way is an excellent salesman, provided me with the credit application online, told him what car I wanted, charged my down payment and got my car ready, all with a single call, the next morning came to dealer, drive tested the car, filled up paperwork in less than 45 min I was out driving my new car. All went very professional and smooth.

Ok so i brought my vehicle to your dealership to fix my pass key III system. My vehicle randomly displays the service theft deterent system as stated in my report. I just got stranded in San Antonio due the lack of knowledge on you guys behalf. I was charged 508 dollars to fix a module that didnt fix my issue and im very disappointed.
Sales team was great when I bought my 2017 ram 3500. They talked me into getting the Advantage care plan which includes 3 oil changes, 3 car washes, and tire rotations. Took the truck in for the first service and when we went to pick it up the trucks was only half way washed and tire shine on one tire, and no tire rotation. Spoke to service manager and he said they no longer offer tire rotaions on dually trucks, and could wash it again and that just the oil changes was worth the money (which is true) but why advertise and sell you something you cant honor. Yes I took pictures of the basic half car wash we received. Also I think you should update your ad for advantage care to say you no longer rotate tires on 3500 diesels.
Oil change and a quick recall ( changing out a fuse) took nearly 4:30 hours. Advisor could tell it was taking a long time . Advised it was in the car wash.. 1:30 later i saw the car sitting in the back. Not even being serviced or washed like he advised. He knew i caught him in a fib. Your dealership service department is not only rude but extremely unorganized. Would never return to even if i was forced. Word of mouth is a very powerful tool that i will use when others ask me about your business. I would never recommend anyone to visit Texan Buick
I recently bought a 2017 Honda Accord from the dealership on September 10, 2021 (Friday). The dealership delivered the car to me at my home since I did not have an additional driver (I am appreciative of the dealership doing that). Further the financing experience and the sales experience was good. However, when I saw the car at home, I noted that the front 2 tires of the car and the back 2 tires are surprisingly of different dimensions. As per the manufacturer provided tire dimensions mentioned on the car door, the tires have to be 205 65 R16, however, the back 2 tires do not meet this specification - they are 205 60 R16 which is not compliant with the specifications mentioned on the car door by the manufacturer. I am disappointed with this since I was not expecting that the dealership would put safety of the customers at risk by (a) installing different tires in front and back and (b) installing tires that do not comply with the manufacturer provided specifications. It would be helpful if the dealership can help address this issue by replacing the back tires to meet the manufacturer provided tire dimensions and respecting customer safety.
The whole process was quick, professional, delightful. At no point was I pressured or rushed to make my purchase. Both Imram and Robert (dealer and finance agent) were both extremely professional, kind and helpful.

Very frustrating experience with Texan GMC today. Went in because my battery was bad. This is the second time for the battery to go bad on my 2017 Sierra. The first time it went out was 8/26/19. My truck only had 33,644 miles so it was covered under the factory warranty. Replaced with a supposed 84 month battery. They replaced. Fast forward to today. Went in today for same reason. Truck has 66,000 miles. Seems like a trend. Prior to work being preformed is was informed that this would not be a warranty repair. I would have to pay the full cost. When I asked why I would have to pay for a battery that supposedly had a 84 month warranty I was told that because the battery was replaced under the factory warranty that it was only covered until the end of my factory warranty which was 36,000 miles. I told the service writer that the factory warranty doesn’t even apply here. This should be a warranty on a service that they preformed. He stated once again it was not covered because the first battery was replaced under the factory warranty it was only covered until the end of the factory warranty and not till the end of the batteries warranty. So in essence that battery was only warranted for 2,356 miles. Way to stand behind your parts and labor. If you take anything from this review it should be that this dealer will not stand behind its products and will find any way or loop hole not to honor warranties and or products. Would recommend finding another dealer for you service needs and probably for purchasing a vehicle if this is how the honor their work and products. Thank you for your time and I hope you have better experiences.

Oddest experience I’ve ever had with a car dealership. I test drove a Denali Truck and was very interested in making a purchase and was basically ghosted by Texan GMC. No response to phone messages, emails and texts. I guess business must be good when you can basically walk away from a big sale. I guess I’ll take my business elsewhere. I suggest anyone reading this review do the same!

They service staff is unattended barely greet you because they are too busy having side conversations. They let unexperieced techs work on your car and they do not top off your fluids. I go to this one because it is close but will look for another location.

Lupe Hernandez and Royston Hall are mvps in my book. Texan Buick GMC is a solid, well established General Motors dealership. My salesman was a little... slow initially, but once Lupe stepped in, I had a deal I was comfortable signing within a half hour. I live in Louisiana, so my entire deal, aside from signing paperwork, was done over the phone. When I tell you this was the best dealership experience Ive ever had, Im saying I was driving home in my new car within 45 minutes. They even met me at the airport so I could drop off my rental car. If youre in the market for a new Buick or GMC, these guys are worth checking out.
Oil change experience was fast and painless. Was in and out within an hour. Humberto was friendly and informative.
Went in for oil change, tire rotation and complementary car wash. I also added state inspection. I also asked to check one of the tires that was leaking air and advise. He came back saying that there’s was a nail and it was $30 to fix it. I told him not to fix and to rotate my tires (was not done or the car wash). My appointment was at 10 am after 2 hours only my oil change was done. I told the service rep that I needed it to leave so I paid for my extra service package and left. Not happy with the service. Previous times that I’ve been there for oil changes did not had any problems and everything was completed fast
My daughter purchased a Buick Encore GX Preferred from Texan. Our salesperson Bobby Garza was wonderful, no pressure and accommodating.I will return when in the market for a vehicle for myself.
Salesman was deceptive and attempted to price gouge on a vehicle. Beyond unethical. After telling me the price of the vehicle was X amount, and we agreed on price, proceeded to tell me that it was required on all purchases from this manufacturer that I buy the perma plate package. Which in itself is not an issue. The issue is that it is at most an 850$ package. This guy wanted to charge me $1000 dollars for window tint (that already comes tinted from the factory), $3500 for exterior protection, $400 for nitrogen fill on tires and $5000 for market adjustment above and beyond the already marked up price. When I called him on this, he stated We dont have any issues selling these vehicles, this package is required. So basically, it is a mark up they attempt to disguise as an upgrade package. This wasnt an upgrade, it was extortion. He then proceeded to tell me how lucky I was, that he would sell me a used version of the vehicle, for just $5000 over the going value of a brand new vehicle in the same trim. Long story short, I went to a different dealer, the same day, and was NOT REQUIRED to buy a $9900 package on the exact same vehicle, and closed a sale on the exact same truck for nearly $12000 less than these clowns were trying to extort me for. I would never, in this lifetime or the next, do business of any kind with this dealer. We have people coming from California to buy these vehicles. LOL that says enough right there. I wouldnt brag about anything people in California do sir. Go sell it to those idiots. Meanwhile, I will take delivery of not one, but TWO new vehicles I purchased from a different dealer yesterday because they treated me right.

I’ve brought multiple vehicles here to get an oil change and never had an issue until today. My wife brought my car for service and was given the run around by a victor if I’m not mistaken. First he tells my wife the oil change will be $85 because “we charge by engine size” and my car is considered a “truck”. She calls me I tell her just get out of there and now the price is lowered suddenly. I’ve got plenty of times and I’ve never had an issues with Antonio always a great guy. Victor saw my wife and tried to take advantage of her I had her leave I wouldn’t trust my vehicles there anymore.

Buying experience was simple and quicker than ever before.
Wanted to buy a truck from them. Went through all the paperwork then never got a call back. Text them and called all weekend and told them we wanted the truck. Still no call back. Called first thing Monday morning said they would have Stanly call back. Wait a couple of hours and still no word. Called back to find out they just had someone walk in that was buying the truck. I highly recommend not ever buying from these chumps. Stanly was rude and a horrible sales man. The place will go under as long as they have people like him.
Dealer lied. Tried to add 10k in junk at closing. Highly recommend going to a reputable dealership.

I would not recommend this dealership, sales lady was nice until I had a problem with my truck a couple weeks after I bought it, she answered the first call but none after and has never called back. My truck has a factory bumper to bumper 5 year 100,000 mile warranty which they were clueless about when I wasted a morning bringing it to their service department. Unprofessional and disorganized. Fred Haas Nissan has taken care of my needs ever sense without issue.
Ms. Shannon was lovely! Got me a great deal, was very patient with me. When I returned to close the deal I was in a rush and she got me in and out!

Horrible experience... I spoke to Thomas over the phone about a 2020 F250 and I asked Thomas if he had the vehicle in stock before I drove from Magnolia. Thomas took my phone number and said he would call me back after he verified they still have the vehicle. Thomas called me back and confirmed the vehicle was still in stock and that I can come and view the vehicle. I told him I would be there in 45 minutes to an hour and would ask for him when I arrive. When I arrived I was told that the vehicle has already been sold and he was sorry. This was a gross waste of my time as this was about a 1 - hour commute for me to get there.

Showed up and saw 5 salesman standing around, but when my husband and I parked they scattered! No one wanted to wait on us, we had to find someone. They directed us to a guy who had food all on his desk and when we asked about vehicles, he literally pulled up the website to check. So, we decided to pull up the website as well and asked to look at a few... They didnt want to show us anything and we finally got up and left. They obviously dont care about selling anything! Dont waste your time!
Communication was horrible, I asked to get my grill replaced the manager there said he’ll call me back it’s been three days and I haven’t heard from him. What kind of managers that. I am a business owner come on and I know I will not Treat customers like this. When I asked to speak to him he didn’t have any representation. Just went and talk to me like if I just had purchased a $20 truck. Which when I paid for the truck like 70k.
The salesman Ikhan took out time to really help me and to assure me that I could be help in spike of my situation. Robert the finance manager was awesome as well to get me 14 percentage rate. The lowest I ever had. I have another customer line up to come for a vehicle soon.Thanks GMC!

I was ready to buy a 85k truck and trade my 60k truck in for 49k when i asked about the additional 5k they tacked on the financed amount. It was for nitrogen, window tint, paint and leather protection. All you can get for about 1k. When i said i didn’t want that Shannon the sales lady told me i could go somewhere else. So i did. Went to Frank Kent Country and got same truck with $450 rebate and they give me $500 more for my trade in. I know dealerships have the advantage right now because of truck shortages but that will change 1 day, so make sure and keep in mind the ones that took advantage of the situation, I have never seen such rudeness from a car salesman, but thanks for saving me 6k by taking my business somewhere else. The radio in my 2020 Terrain completely went out. We dropped my car at the dealership the night before our service appointment in hopes to get it back the next day. Initially, it started off rough because the key was misplaced and my car was not touched for a majority of the day. However, Humberto quickly helped make the situation right! We were offered a loaner car which was very helpful since the fix took several days to complete. Additionally, there were no objections to the fix and it being covered under warranty. We were very thankful for the easy fix and the loaner car. Everyone in the service department was very friendly and helpful!

He tried calling me hours later but we had already contacted another salesman. I had recently bought a truck from this salesman back in June and that experience wasn’t good but I gave him another chance anyway. My salesman Imran took care of me.
