One of my favorite places to thrift!!! I love finding things here, from vintage, Jewelry, clothing, home goods, furniture, I have over the years bought so many cool items. They help the community as well.
Love the book section at this location. Most of the pricing is reasonable for a resale shop. The only drawback is the fitting room is closed and all sales are final. The woman working the register needs better customer service skills.
Ive always loved going to this store, But lately the prices here are ridiculous I stopped here yesterday and didnt buy a thing. And to be honest I have no intention of ever going back. I know everyone has to make money but that store receives donations and turns right back around and overcharge their customers for instance it was a box their regular price on it from the new store was $12 and HAAM was asking $6 and it was lots of things there well overpriced. No wonder when I was driving up I thought it was closed because they only had 3 cars in the parking lot mines made the 4th and I should have kept going I wish that store much success and some but Im done stopping there
Good prices and customers services.
Rude little ole lady in the front, I asked her if I could test the electronic that she had behind her counter. She said no.At a price of $75 & I couldn’t plug in a video game system. The item is “Sold as Is” I even asked if an employee could do it, if she didn’t want me to open it. But her answer was no.Simple minded business. No common sense
Always liked the store and the people ..
Very organized drop off of donation. Your stuff must be in bags or boxes which you put on a roll cart yourself. The HAAM attendant keeps his distance which is good.
I used to love this shop, but the prices are higher, there was no restroom, and it smelled like hospital food. Im very disappointed. I wish I was joking.
It was great i enjoy it they are always have bargain thank you
HAAM has been assisting our area for as long as I can remember. They have helped out so many folks I know, including myself when things were bad. If you have any way of donating items, money, and/or time, I strongly recommend donating here. I do know that some, if not all, donations to HAAM are tax deductible.
Love this retail store has a variety of old vintage stuff.
Hadnt been in years...hit or miss...didnt find anything I couldnt live without...great cause!
I always find something, clothing or for my kitchen, clean store.😊
Went back to HAAM after not going for a year. I did notice prices have gone up. I noticed in the books. The children’s books and young adult books are priced starting at $1.04-$2.42. When you can go to other thrift stores and not pay no more than $2.00.
The people are friendly and helpful. Ive bought many things there. Its good stuff and great prices. I think its awesome that they help people across the street at their center. It makes it easier to buy the products because you know where money is going. The furniture is quality stuff. I love it!
Very efficient and safe drop off experience. HAAM is a great asset to the Humble community.
Prices were reasonable to slightly higher. Considering how many people they help with the money they raise it is fair. They have a pretty good selection to browse. Helping community is what they are all about. I enjoyed browsing and bought a few things. They have decent furniture and lots of clothing.
Good prices and a very nice selection. You can find really good deals if you look, and some very high-quality stuff. This is one of the best resale shops in the area.
They have good collectibles items, but this item are over priced. They need to get an accurate appraiser. i can find the same items for half price they are asking for thas tge reason why they are having the same items fir sale for long time.
This resale shop helps to support the Humble Assistance Area Ministries. This is a busy thrift store. Everything is organized here very well. So it is easy to get around and see what is available. You can donate items here too. Prices are good and the place is clean. You never know what you are going to find here.
Ive shop there many times n yes u can find nice things and the prices are fair I have found items for the whole family n baby costumes for Halloween they seen to always have many outfits during the holiday season. We like shopping there and the staff show good customer service. So if u havent been there I say you should stop n shop n you will be back. lol
It was already but I felt price was to little overpriced considering this is resale and church place where they help people I wanted to buy some chair but price was so high for old and duty ones
Went in to check on something that would’ve taken me a couple of minutes and kicked me out before I could walk 10ft into the store. A lady told me they were closed so I replied “I thought y’all close at 5:30.” “We’re trying to get all the customers out of the store” was her reply. It was 5:21 and if a business states 5:30 on the sign why would you kick out a customer regardless. A kind warning from her telling me they are closing in 9 minutes would of been better than kicking me out!
Great. They occasionally have items with tags still on them showing what the original store price was. After hurricane Harvey our family was able to get some really nice gently used items.
Cheaper than Walmart and lots of goodies
My first time here, looking for a dresser. Was surprised to find a couple made out of solid wood, not that partial board junk. And, to top it off...very reasonably priced I might add. Wasnt able to find one that I felt comfortable with, so will check back in a couple weeks...no rush.
Thank God these folks really treated with well needed for. They are all Very Professional and Polite I cant thank them enough. God bless them all
Ive been coming here for years. They are the best resale shop in the area. Period. They have that true boutique feel without the price. They get some real nice furniture in, baby clothes are nice. The nick naks are the best, you never know what you are about to run into. Nice people there too, they run the food bank next door.
Prices are the same as stores and sometimes higher. So beware and make sure you check prices and your products before purchasing. There are some good deals but hard to find unfortunately. 🙁
The volunteers were wonderful but the two women who run the place are completely different story. Ive lived in the Humble area for over 30 years. I have donated and/or volunteered for HAAM over the years but after my treatment today, never again! Shame on yawl. Youre supposed to be doing Gods work not passing judgement.
Excellent find! Has some really great treasures. Nicely laid out inventory and pricing is reasonably. Good cause!!
Nice people working there. Not excessively nice or anything. Sometimes you find an interesting item. Furniture. You never know
Crowded isles, pushy customers without manners, and prices were all over the place. Absolutely a fire hazard. Not worth the drive or my time.
Lots of things most reasonably priced
Very friendly people. They have furniture to close and so on. Have a sale right now 50% off sandals right now. Customer service great.
Stopped in at the social services side. I had the good fortune to visit with Freddie and got a lot of useful information and direction. They are wonderful!
One of my favorite little shops. Usually has vary good books and jewelry. Has lots of trinkets and vintage.
Theres always so many awesome deals here ! They are pretty reasonably priced and theres always items that are in good condition. Great selection, definitely will be back.
Went to shop. Lots of clothes, housewares such as pictures, dishes, decor items, furniture, books and jewelry. You name it and they probably got some of it. Clerk was nice and friendly.
If you are need for food and other help this is a wonderful place to go Everyone Professional and Polite and courteous please go visit them
Great deals
Very nice place. The ppl are kind & professional, often going above & beyond just bcuz. Very imaginatively useful info can be acquired here, where a multitude of benefits abound. Recommend it highly
I was really impressed with the way and manner they attended to people. They are very friendly and swift in attending to your needs.
4 stars
Some prices decent some are just ridiculously high. U can get this stuff on the Facebook market way cheaper
Always find a deal for the kids, family, home, etc. Nice selection of books. Cheaper than GoodWill/SalvationArmy. Plus all profits stay here in Humble.
Love this place! You will everything you need.... Furniture, antiques, clothing, household items, and inspiration.
If I could do all my shopping here I would. This place is amazing. I love what they do there.
I could spend an hour in here easy! So much to look at. People who work here are so nice too!
Grate selection of goods and the people were awesome if your looking for antiques this is a place to check out
Its a good store. Its a little cluttered and you have to look at the clothes carefully for stains, rips, wear. etc. Good furniture selection. Can be pricey on some things.
Wife was there for Christmas gifts was told she could get a bicycle for our daughter. Then she was told she needed a sticker? No one could tell her where to get sticker. She tried several times she finally had to leave because of her anxiety.
I love going to the Haam Store, you find the neatest things there
Very nice place to find second hand and new clothes and dishes and a whole bunch of other good stuff, the staff there are wonderful also.
I used to come to HAAM quite often. Today though, I had such a hard time with them. I brought my granddaughter along, which I often do, and they were just harassing us. Today, she got tired of walking around with me, wed been shopping at other places already, so I sat her down on a sofa and told her to wait until I got what I needed. The staff was just all over us as if she posed a threat to them by being bad. I always spend waay more money then I intend to but their reaction to her is giving me second thoughts. Same child as in the past. Has never made a mess, stolen, damaged or broken anything but the criminal treatment has me confused and insulted. What has happened to HAAM?
This please is So Great I found All kinds of stuff Here. I love the fact My money spent here is going to help the community. You see the money Really helping.
Nice store, a great thrift in our little Humble town.
Found 3 great mens shirts (Chaps) for 5.99 each. Newly laundered and very clean. super buy
The new arrangement and layout is great!!!
Lots of nice things at cheaper prices then buying new
Very good at assisting peoples needs. Its fast too!
Crazy over priced!!!! I saw a chair for $400 and a regular jewelry stand for $65. For donated items????? Get out of here! Never again!
Very BUSY industry, but they are very helpful and professional ☺😇😏
I loved everyone they are the best especially Mrs Jennifer 😇
Takes some searching in this one for an useful item. Still good prices, and decent selection.
Very nice people and they are very helpful in every aspect...
Love the gang at HAAM! Great Finds! A Treasure Hunters Dream!
77eireTheir7Theiyr g the y, ygood gain yg/ggggggggggggggggggggggg
Got a cool all wood coffee table for 15 Dollars!
A true hidden gem! Search the shelves high and low for those one of a kind items.
Very pleasant people willing to help and great place to go for help
Curtious people clean environment..helpful
Too expensive. They have retail prices at a thrift store where it should be less than retail. I can buy vintage items at retail stores cheaper than here.
Let me start by saying that I fully support HAAMs mission and it is the only place I will donate items to. However, my last visit may have just changed that. I found a set of dishes (set of 8) and only one had a price tag for $1. Now I did assume they were $1 each, so I gathered them up and waited at the counter. Once waited on, the manger (I think Mary Anne was her name) looked at them and said oh those go with these and they are $10 a set. I did question this because dishes I wanted were of one material and the additional pieces were a completely different material. She agreed and put the additional pieces back. Then said ok your dishes are $5 each since it was $10 a set. I pointed out the $1 sticker and said well they are marked for $1. She quickly said oh no thats wrong and peeled it off. They are $5 each. I would like to point out here that any other store would have honored the stickered price. She said she looked them up on ebay and that is what they are selling for. So I looked them up on ebay. The first four listings were about $1.50 - $2.50 each. Not to mention that the sellers on ebay have to take photographs and type up and entire listing as well as pay listing fees etc, you know work for the money. She merely printed out a sticker and moved on. When I showed her the listings she became rude and told me if I wanted them to pay the $5 each or leave. So I left. This was just the experience at the counter. Everything in that place is used but priced and like new prices (except maybe the clothes). Someone needs to get a handle on that woman, its a thrift store not macys. I will be finding a new place to donate that doesnt try to price gouge the needy.
The people are kind and nice And very hard workers
Nice store but prices are not thrift store prices.
The say out of funds for July; but offered no assistance as to where else I could try or that may help..They ask me all these money questions getting a person high hopes then drop a bomb(they cant help this month).....But come back for September we can help...
Fantastic people working there and what this ministry strands for is the best
I just love the care and concern they give for others. In times of need or going through
Very neat and organized. Decently priced.
Very Nice and clean...good stuff
Way overpriced. Piece of cardboard with glued picture on it (like you find at Wal-Mart for 3 bucks) priced 10. One coffee mug priced 3 dollars. Beat up end table, 30. I dont know who is dumb enough to buy that junk. Lol inventory was free so why all the greed. Bet there isnt as much going to charity as they say, I mean they are already without scruples when it comes to putting a fair value on used products.
I perfer to go to ur location by main st. Mary Ann the 2 cashiers u have get very busy & all they do is work with a smile.
Bit pricey however they also sell nee items and consignment booths.
Nice resale shops that gives back to those in need!
Im always finding great buys there
Nice people friendly faces good stuff
They have a lot of good stuff.
You can find anything you need and you can find what you thought you didnt need. 😉
This place is a good resale shop. My mom and I go there at least twice a week
Did not find what I was searching for but ham is very well organized and the people working there are very friendly pleasant visit will be going back
Prices overpriced, they get things free or major reduced and turn around and sell high. Today I waited behind two people at a checkout counter and then stepped up to the register only to be told, there was only one check out counter next to where I was standing.!I said I just waited behind two other people the lady checked out and now you tell me theres one line? I dont think you want to wait on me!. The checker said she was offended, I said your offended? Im the one offended!I stepped to the other line that four people were standing in and said Im not waiting behind all these people after already waiting behind two others . Another lady said I cold step in front of her and I finished checking out my 5 small articles and left. It WILL be a long while before I go back!
Its a resale shop .. lots of old stuff ... some good stuff ... like most resale shops .. it depends on what you want to truly decide whether or not its good.
Great finds at reasonable prices.
Good experience and very helpful.
Nice offers, older building.
Nice people, GOD bless them.
