We were looking for a golf cart for my special needs brother and definitely went to the right place. Steve at Golf Cars of Houston - Kingwood spent an entire day answering all our questions. He was so patient and kind. Its hard to find people like him in sales these days. And Mary did an outstanding job detailing our golf cart! These guys went above and beyond to make sure our brother was extremely pleased with his purchase. They made sure he was able to take it home that night, even though we had difficulty finding a trailer to rent. Steve made this buying experience extremely easy and pleasant. We definitely recommend Golf Cars of Houston - Kingwood.
Hands down the worst experience of my life. We bought a brand new golf cart and it took them forever to deliver it. Has it for 2 1/2 weeks then it started shorting out. They picked it up and kept it over 2 months. After numerous calls we get our cart back only for the problem to still be there. They picked it up and kept it another month and half. For two straight weeks I was told that it was fixed but they needed to ride it around to make sure. After calling the warranty company and complaining, my cart was returned to me. The stalling has stopped but now the batteries have a funny smell and it will not charge. This has been a very frustrating experience and the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with
I have always wanted a Cart but didnt have the room. So after buying our house hubby took me to look at one. The people were very friendly and were able to answer all my questions and we bought one the same day. There were some things we needed to add cuz we have young twins and they had everything we asked for.
Very dishonest that they dont list MSRP on their website. That means they unfairly change their prices based in how much they can squeeze out of you.
I hired this place to fix my golf cart. They changed the price 3 times. Then they refused to return my charger. Horrible service. I strongly do NOT recommend

Mr Taylor at the Kingwood branch is an AWESOME Salesman. Hes very friendly and really got to know his customers. He gave us many options to choose from and even suggested we check out the superstore off I45 were we met the salesman Abel who was Great too before we made our final decision. Upon deciding we chose to go back to the Kingwood branch to purchase our Cart. Mr. Taylor was a man of his word and thats what sold us as a family.The reason I gave it 3 stars was not for Awesome none pushy salesmen, it comes from the short rude finance manager.If I had based my experience only on the Salesmen, Golf Cars of Houston would have gotten 5 stars.

I had a good experience at Houston Golf Cars Humble location. Steve, the salesman at that location, was very helpful with my purchase of a new EZ Go Golf Car and accessories. Steve also coordinated my requests with service and parts and maintained communication with me about the installation progress of accessories.I am happy with the deal and with the new cart!!
I was a little nervous about taking my golf car here for repair after reading the reviews before hand, however, we did anyway and had a GREAT EXPERIENCE. They were very prompt, attentive and professional when it came to our initial concerns and issues with the golf car .The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the fact that they kept our golf car for so long with very little communication/update . In addition, the golf cars that they keep for long periods of time ( and in general ) are left outside in the elements, which could cause additional issues like erosion, etc.I just suggest that they at least provide some type of top coverage to protect the cars from direct sunlight, rain, etc.Other than that, their direct customer service we experienced was outstanding!!
I renter 2 golf carts, a 4 passanger and a 6 passanger, the got my cars ready and it was very affordable for a weekend family trip to the beach!!
Fantastic experience!Purchased an electric 2 passenger cart for my son to use on his property 2 years ago and its still going strong! Great for small chores on the property (trips to the front gate), and the grandkids enjoy tagging along. Thinking about upgrading to a gas Utility cart. Very nice selection of new and used equipment.

Hands down the worst place to bring a cart. They broke multiple items on the cart and charged me for it. It took over 2 MONTHS to get my cart back. The staff at the parts department (and I use that term loosely due to their lack of stock of everything) are beyond rude. I can not even count how many times I was told I will call you right back and never got a return call. Horrible place, with horrible staff, and horrible service. Its a golf cart with how many parts on it? Its not the space shuttle. Over 2 months! Stay AWAY!!!!

I met and worked with Steve Mapes, Sales, at Golf Cars of Houston (Kingwood on Loop 494) on a couple of visits looking for a golf cart to fill my needs. Steve took his time educating me on the latest technology in electric motors, batteries, cart accessories, and we discussed adding lights, windshields, hitch receivers, etc to the cart. I selected a EZGO fleet RXV cart (basically equipped). The cart has the latest A.C. regenerative electric motor and braking system which I am intrigued with being an engineer. The cart has the 48 volt lead acid battery system (4) x 12 volt Trojan 180 ah batteries in place of the older 36 volt DC (6) x 6 volt systems. Lithium batteries systems are now available as well in the new carts. We negotiated a fair price and Steve had the cart detailed for me the next morning. In summary, I had a very pleasant experience learning about the carts, and I am pleased with the cart I purchased. If you’re willing to learn, and shop (inventory on used carts is always turning over), or if you elect to purchase new EZGO, Club Car, or Yamaha carts, stop by and check them out.
Purchased a rebuilt EZGO from Allan Taylor who was extremely professional and helpful. Had additional parts placed on the cart and everything worked perfectly. From the shop guy who answered my questions to the parts folks, everyone was fantastic.This is a new management group (had issues with the older ones several months ago). Would recommend the Kingwood location to anyone needing a cart or just answers.

The carts here are pricey but their nice. The customer service for me was horrible. Seem like employees are just trying to make the work day.
HORRIBLE!! Our cart flooded and they replaced everything internally but we had to keep taking it back b/c they put it back together wrong and gave us batteries that didnt work! After replacing the batteries a second time the wiring melted (b/c they didnt hook it up right) while we were driving it and the cart stopped working. They came out to fix the wiring and tried to charge us $100 for their mistake! Our cart still wont charge and we refuse to call them back out to fix another mistake they made. We spent as much $$ repairing it as we paid for the cart and we still cant even use it!! They also have horrible customer service, never return phone calls and kept our cart for weeks without letting us know the status of anything. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

Was making a few golf cart repairs including some not being handled by Golf Cars of Houston. I was attempting to change a headlight bulb (should have been simple) but couldn’t figure it out. I called on some other parts I needed and asked for some help. They sent me to John Corley from the Kingwood location and he walked me right through it. Even texted me pictures showing what to do.Thanks for excellent service John. I appreciate it!

Asst. GM Allan Taylor greeted us with a friendly smile made the search for a cart easy and was willing to see if other stores had similar carts. Selection at store is not huge but they are very knowledgeable and know where and how to get what youre looking for.

I took my cart In to be repaired and found out the speed controller needed to be rebuilt. I knew this would take time because the controller has to sent off to be rebuilt. So there is shipping time, rebuild time, return time, and installation time. It should have been two to three weeks. Over seven weeks later I called several times and was told it will be ready tomorrow and then it went to it will be ready in 45 minutes. After a few days of that I called them and told them I am coming to get the cart.When I arrived I was told the tech had blowed out my headlights and that they were waiting for them to be delivered. I told them I would replace the lights myself. I was only charged for the speed controller and $25.00 for miscellaneous parts no labor charge. When I arrived home I found that the voltage reducer had been changed, the radio and horn not working along with the blown headlights. It cost me $200.00 to get the damage repaired that they done plus the cost of another radio. So needless to say I wouldnt recommend Golf Carts of Houston uless you want a ton of aggravation, being lied to and maybe having your cart destroyed.
They came and picked up my cart over a week ago. Called today to see what was going on because I hadnt heard a peep from them. My $11,000 cart is just sitting out in their yard. They could have waited to pick mine up and it could have stayed in the garage. The service woman on the phone was irritated by me asking questions why. Terrible place to buy a cart. Avoid!
These guys are waaaayy over priced and the staff there is kinda sketchy. Not very friendly, certanly dont act like they want you to spend your money with them. Would never deal with these folks again. This review is for the humble location.

Horrible parts and service department. You will never get a phone call returned if your cart is here. Its a golf cart not the space shuttle but to them it is, super complex and parts are impossible to get our cart took 2 months to get fixed and was damaged in the process. Left outside for weeks rusting

Took my cart in for repair, was told its around 10 day turn around. A month later they still havent diagnosed it, very difficult to get an answer out of them, very rude and irritated if you have any questions. Lesson learned, would not recommend anyone waste their time or money on this place.
I went in and ask for a f and r switch for ezgo they gave me one told me that the price was 329.00 i went in sticker shock told them ive been researching them it was 125.00 on line so. i called there store in woodlands they told me the price was260.00 what the hell i order on line for 125.00 and it was an oem part ill never go back

Took my golf cart in for new batteries and a charger....get it back...batteries die wont charge...hired a different company to come look at it....they unhooked wires and didnt hook it back...cost me extra money...wont go back
Hands down the worst place to go if you need a cart fixed. Brought two carts in for service. One never got fixed after spending hundreds on them throwing parts at a cart. They stripped the fasteners on the rear end in the process of making repairs. Asked for part A to be ordered and installed and they decided to go with part Z instead. No calls or communication, ever. Anita and Denise are the most clueless and untrustworthy people in the store. Called before showing up (minutes later) was told we are working on the cart now, but in actually the cart never moved from its spot outside, have tires and batteries stacked on it. Both carts were there for two months. Its always parts will be here next week. And to add insult to injury, my charger was lost! They sent it out with one of the rental carts. They looked for several days and never found it. Beyond pissed off.
This place is pretty sad. Sales team if that is what you call them are funny. No real selection on the show room. I am also of opinion the rebuild a lot of carts. They are a red flag for me.
