Came on Sunday at 12pm- posted opening time. No one inside, no one answered the phone. Waited 15 minutes, still closed, many customers also tried to go in. Pretty disappointing since this one of the few music stores in the area.
Any time I have called or gone in the staff have been super nice and helpful. Glad to have a local place that has what we need.
Very helpful staff, helped me from over spending on stuff I didnt need. Will come back again!
I called through out the day and they did not answer
I recently stopped in for new strings for 2 violins that had not been used for several years. I needed help selecting the strings and reassembling the bridge and parts of one of the violins. I found Stacey to be very helpful and friendly. The store had a great selection of instruments and accessories and the staff seemed very knowledgeable.
We bought my sons drum kit for school from music and arts at his school in the beginning of the year. One of the screws broke on his drum set and we took it in because we thought they could do a simple repair in the store. They said that they would have to send the drum kit off to the manufacturer and my son would be without his instrument for several weeks. We ended up going down the street to Humble Music and they fixed it in the store for very cheaply and had it back to us in two days. In the meantime they gave us a loaner so my son didnt miss any practice at school
You know what? I work at this store. I have been working here for about a year now and read all the reviews. Our staff has been changed so many times and each manager had different ways of handling things and we had to go with the flow. Yes, certain things were done to satisfy customers and keep them happy; personally, i try to be flexible but when someone becomes very rude you cant always keep your mouth shut, especially when you are doing your best to be friendly. I have never hung up when someone asks for my name, i simply give them my name and if i have to, i will let them know who my district manager is. I have regulars and lesson parents that i absolutely adore and have customers who are very kind. I appreciate that they come back, i really do. I do my best smile and be kind because I know what it is like to wait in line and have to return things when they are not working. If the store did not meet your expectations, i understand. You dont have to stick to us. Our prices may not be the same as Guitar Centers, and i dont know who has quoted that in our store, but we do price match. Either way, you are not forced to shop with us. I really appreciate those who have come by and gave us a shot. We are growing and building ourselves back up. Ive been through 2 to 3 managers now and things are trying to pick back up. Sorry for any issues guys. Thanks for the business and reviews.
I have now dealt with this company twice. Once at the 6th grade try outs and the other just now. When my son signed up to be in band he was going to attend 1 school and we just recently found out we have been zoned to another school. I called this company, not having my paperwork with me, not even sure if this was the right company... I spoke with Stacy and she was so nice and professional. She confirmed that I did call the right company was able to find my contract and made notes to have the sax delivered to the right school. I was very pleased with my interaction both times I have dealt with them.
The prices are a little expensive, but their customer support is very good and they can make repairs or adjustments to instruments very quickly. Highly recommend!
Cashier was ok..some wierd dude that works there does not have any customer service though. Learn to return a greeting when spoken to man! and stop staring at customers like theyre not welcomed, oh I guess I wasnt huh...Very pricey and I couldnt find what I was looking for since I was running out of time had to settle for an over priced lesser quality item... No I will not be going back.
Very helpful staff.
Nice staff good quality too you should check the place out not that far either.
Since I was running low on guitar picks and strings, I stopped by to have a look. The selection was alright, and the store is well organized. I Am slightly annoyed that an employee kept letting me know that their prices were lower than guitar centers - which they are not.
We had a terrible experience with Arts and Music. My grandson was given a gift card for guitar lesson and was told he could use the gift card for lessons. My grandson took lessons from Crash who was an excellent teacher before receiving the gift card. The manager told us along with the gift card they needed my credit card on file . I asked why and was not given a reason. I told the manager I like to pay with gift cards rather then credit. I would pay in advance . The manager argued with me, he became disgruntled . I will never do business with this store . Very unprofessional .
We needed to have an acoustic guitars strings replaced so called the store at 822pm. Stuart not only replaced the strings but he cleaned and tuned it also.
HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! Never a good experience when I come to this store. I have been here at least 4 times in the past year and they NEVER HAVE WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR. I know that percussion is a very popular instrument but to come to a store and no matter what item you need they NEVER HAVE IT is crazy. Completely lost for words.
The customer service reps seem really incompetent. I normally dont do reviews like this, i try tyo give people the benefit of the doubt, but i had to say something. Ive signed up for auto pay so i dont have to worry about making payments, they come out AUTOMATICALLY. They cannot even do this right. I received a letter just last week saying past due, i called and the idiots told me that EVERYONE was mistakenly sent this letter. Before that an auto payment did not come out, i noticed it called made a payment over the phone. Low and behold the auto payment came out right afterward with a late fee attached so i ended up paying double plus a late fee. So after telling these idiots its their fault they refunded me the original amount. I tried to explain to them how do i owe a late fee for a payment that wasnt late to begin with. I signed up for auto pay tht was the whole purpose. If the payment came out late how is this my fault? Example: lets say my payment is due on the 25th in the amount of $25. On the 26th i noticed that it had not come out of my account, so i call & tell them my payment through auto pay did not come out, and right then and there they take the $25 payment out of my account. Im thinking okay problem solved. The next day i see a $30 payment taken out. Another $25 plus a $5 late fee. I call, AGAIN. Explain that ive made 2 payments. They refund me $25. Why not refund the $30? And just keep the $25? Why should i have to pay a late fee for a payment that was not late due to any fault of my own? That makes no sense.
This company is horrible!!!!!! Multiple times they have taken money out of my account unauthorized and refuse to refund the money. I have had to do several disputes with my bank because of music and arts. Customer service is a complete joke. I would advise to stay clear of this place and use another music store....
Awesome place to shop for your musical instrument i play percussion and i got everything i needed for my percussion
Girl in charge so rude not helpful all all even curse at me cause she was getting upset! Spoke to maneger all he said sorry...😦😠😡after been a costumer for over a year and never paid late....I would never ever purchase an instrument from there and will tell all friends and family, that are also Band moms!
Horrible service i would give this place 0 out of 5 stars if i could
Worst customers service if you call and ask question on your account. Ask for there names and they hang up on you
Totally recommend!
Terrible service.
