The office is well run and I had a seamless check in. I even got to see the doctor before my actual appointment time. She was great too! Very considerate and thorough. She explained everything so that I could understand and even sent me home with extra support to explain to my family. All five stars were earned!

My mom and I were greeted immediately by the receptionist. We were informed the of the small wait time then brought back immediately. Doctor Tameka Ford was EXCELLENT!! She was very patient and answered all of our questions . She explained the process to my mom as the visit progressed. She reviewed the hearing test results and offered hearing aid solutions. I have had my hearing aids for almost 3 years from Northeast Houston Hearing. I am overjoyed with them and also with the excellent service from Dr. Temeka Ford. She is the best Doctor of Audiology I have ever been to and the staff at Northeast is always kind, caring and ready to help. I have been going here for a couple of years and its always such a wonderful atmosphere in feeling welcomed. Mona is the most sweetest lady I have ever met and even though when I went in the other day it had been awhile since I had been there she remembers my boyfriends name. And Dr Ford is great and makes it even more special that she is from the same area in Louisiana I am. Its more like going to see friends than a doctors office.

Excellent visit! Dr. Ford is a great communicator, asked questions and listened for my answers. I came in for an annual hearing test as required by my employer due to the industry I work in. Front desk staff is very organized and friendly. They were able to quote a price range for my routine check up. I was able to pay at the desk after my visit. I was first appointment of the day, so Dr. Ford had time to complete my visit report. I left with report in hand and a smile on my face.

I had bought 4 sets of hearing aids before coming to NE Hearing. None of them were worth a 2 star rating. NE Hearing earned the 4 stars I gave them by providing effective hearing aids and great service. I drive about an hour each way to see them; time well spent.

Helped me understand the severity of the hearing loss I suffered from the accident by showing me what is normal and whats not. She then proceeded to tell me what would be the best hearing aid to meet my level of hearing loss. She also helped me with a payment plan to get me set up with payments I can make. I have had issues with it and she has been nothing but the best to get them fixed and in working order. Dr. Ford is my number 1 go to audiologist, I would recommend her to everyone who has a hearing problem. She is a kind, honest, straight forward person who will go in depth to keep you informed.

Northeast Hearing is a top notch facility. The staff is very friendly, compassionate and caring. They take the time with you and dont rush you in and out and make sure your questions are answered and our needs are meet and we are satisfied. Other facilities should take notice to how they run their facility. I love how the appointment is all about me and I am not sitting in a waiting room full with of other people, ever how they are doing this, they should be commended. I cant believe how well I can hear now with my new hearing aids and Miss Ford made sure I was comfortable during the process, shes such a Beautiful person inside and out. Dr. Ford did a wonderful job in helping my wife and I with our hearing aids. She helped us select the units that were covered by our insurance. Then went through the testing and adjusting process. Its been 4 months and we are both very satisfied with our hearing aids.

Went in for an ear fitting for custom in-ear monitors from Westone. Process was super easy and Dr. Strafuss was nothing but helpful. In a couple of weeks, my custom in-ear monitors showed up and they sound fantastic and have been using them now for a better part of a year. Had friends and fellow musicians go there for their fitting and monitors as well. I would not hesitate going back.

I have been a patient of Northeast Houston Hearing Services since 2012. Wearing hearing aids was nothing new for me. I had worn them for several years prior to my first visit. The experience I had with them far surpassed any other. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted by a very friendly staff. They are genuinely warm and caring. That really means a lot! Not only is the initial visit top notch, each and every visit are treated with just as much importance as the first.Doctors Strafuss and Ford are so knowledgeable with everything concerning hearing impairment. I recently purchased my first set of hearing aides, Signia 7NxS, from Northeast Houston Hearing Services and was very pleased with their excellent customer service and support. The testing was easy and comfortable and helped to pin point the frequency range(s) where I had less than stellar performance. With the Signia line, they were able to program a 7NxS test pair (they can also be programmed for the other two NX lines{5Nx & 3Nx}) for evaluation using my specific frequency losses. I was able to evaluate them before purchase which allowed me to one: determine if they were more of a bother than I wished to experience and two: if it really did help me understanding (hearing and understanding) both the environment at work as well as at home. The time period was long enough that I was very comfortable when I finally purchased them that they would met my needs and expectations.I really liked the ability of the Signia Nx series to interface through the Signia iPhone applet, Signia MyControl available through the Apple store. Using the applet I was able to control volume, bass/treble balance as well as focus the directionality (they call it Spatial Configurator) of the hearing aides from very narrow frontal focus to sides to all around me. In addition, the applet can allow me to use the iPhone microphone instead of the hearing aides but I found the hearing aides handled the frequency response better. In addition I purchased the TV adapter which plugs to the TV using either RCA jacks or a digital audio cable. It allowed the control of the TVs remote control volume to be totally independent of the volume that I heard through my hearing aides. I simply brought up my iPhone applet, connected to the Signia TV box (single touch point) and then I controlled my volume through my hearing aides via a slider bar (or a couple of taps on the hearing aide itself). As a side note, with the Signia Nx line, when my phone rings, I can hear directly through my hearing aides the conversation. I have not noticed any significant battery charge loss on the phone as the Signia utilizes the BlueTooth low power channel for communications.In addition, there is an additional applet (Signia MyHearing) that allows Dr Strafuss to remotely tweak or remotely program my hearing aides without having me to come into the office. This allows NE Houston Hearing Services to support me remotely if I am out of town, out of state or even out of country (assuming I have a phone connection with my iPhone) if issues arise.The only technical issue I have had with the Signia 7Nx line is that the battery life of the actual hearing aides is, for me, less than stellar. My personal usage experience with the 312 batteries has been about 3 days while I was hoping around 4 days. I hope one day they will have rechargeable batteries in the 312 size. There is a rechargeable model but I wanted the smallest footprint as I also were glasses.Overall my experience with NE Houston Hearing Aides, Dr Strafuss and the Signia 7NxS has been stellar ( with the exception of I wished the battery lasted 25% longer).

Have used this place for years and love to go and see the people there . They are great and always have a smile on there face and willing to help. I would not use any other place.
