Update after 2 years. Had a leak due to freeze..it took them about a month to come out. They fixed and the tech said theyd bill me. My bad for letting him do the work without knowing the price.. I get a bill a week later for $300. Pricey repair.Great team to work with. Had a new system put in and they could communicate clearly what to expect and did a great job on the install.

This is the side of my house after a $3,000 job with Texas Rainmakers. I was having the same issue seen in the enclosed pictures and videos prior to the drain work. Reasons why I thought water was accumulating on the side of the house were shared in detail with the owner Ed Julian prior to quoting and starting the job. He reassured me the issue would be resolved with drain work (shown on attached email). Drain work was completed on July 10, 2020. It rained about 2 weeks after his crew completed the work and as the pictures clearly show, the issue was not resolved. I immediately reached out to Ed to let him know what had happened; the attached string of emails shows his response. I’m sorry but this is not a way to run a reputable business.

I made an appointment two weeks in advance for a flooding issue in my in ground wires, which I noted to the company 8 months ago. They were due here between 12-6. When they arrived I explained the issue again to the workers that the wires are constantly under water and are starting to rust. I informed them I’ve had the sprinkler system purged and off for four months now and I didn’t think the system was leaking but a low area and it needed to be moved a few feet up to higher ground or leave it above ground. I then get a call from the company telling me they can not leave the wires above ground and I informed them to move it to higher ground, which would be a few feet away. I was then informed they would need to schedule it another day due to not having the time and it would also cost $450 for the move.The issue here is two problems. 1. I was booked for the time 12-6 was allocated to me. I waited two weeks for the appointment.2. Then to want to charge me the outrageous price of $450 with all the business I have given them and it was their error planting the wires in a low area on my yard that gets no water from this sprinkler system.

This is the company to use for any sprinkler system work! Ive used them multiple times now to repair my system and they have always had excellent service and excellent pricing.

I needed to improve the sprinkler system that was installed with the home. I wanted the heads raised and rotors put in where possible versus the basic spray heads. I called Texas Rainmakers as they had installed a sprinkler system at a prior home. Ed came out within a day, assessed my system, provided a quote a day later and we agreed upon a date to perform the work. Ed and his team arrived on that date and installed the rotors and raised all the heads. The team also found and repaired a leak I didnt know about. I now have no un-watered areas in the lawn and am very pleased. The price was fair, the job performed professionally, and fixing the leak demonstrated the care they have for their customers. Ill always use Texas Rainmakers for any sprinkler or irrigation needs.

They even came in cheaper than what my builder wanted from when we had our home built.The estimate was really quick - Ed came out and had the estimate done in less than half an hour.He had his crew doing the work in about a week. They were able to complete all of their work even while my wife and I were at work. Work was done in one day.They handled all the permits for the city of Houston.Im 100% satisfied with Texas Rainmakers.

I was extremely disappointed in the sprinkler repair. I would not recommend this Texas Rainmaker to any one.I was going on vacation so needed the sprinkler system fixed immediately so my lawn would be there when I got back.A wire was cut to one zone when a water filter was installed by another company. Five people showed up and I explained a wire had been cut. Rain maker found the wire that was cut immediately. Rain maker then proceeded to cut all the wires and install a six wire bundle which had to be trenched and buried; after being told to simply splice the single wire. Rain maker then found a bad valve and replaced the valve. Cost was $300 versus an estimate of $160.If the wire had been spliced as directed along with replacement of the valve would have been much less than $300.

My wife an I bought a house with a Hunter sprinkler system back in August and you could tell that the system had not been ran or serviced for a really long time. I called Texas Rainmakers and they came out and got it running like new for a very reasonable price. Texas Rainmakers will be my go to for all my sprinkler needs.

I was extremely disappointed with all aspects of Texas Rainmakers and would not recommend them. The owner does not take the time to listen to what is being requested and then writes up a vague estimate. When I asked for clarifications on the esimate, his responses were just a couple of words and still vague. In the end, he did not do the work I had asked and refused to complete it.

Today, I contacted Texas Rainmakers and explained I had a problem with a valve not shutting off and continuing to run. I spoke to the owners son and he told me he would come out and take a look at it. Not only did he come by within the hour, he came out and fixed the problem without charging me. He was polite and professional young man and people like that deserve to be noticed. These days professional courtesy is almost a thing of the past; however, that young man was a true professional.
