Good selection of meats and chicken fresh for the day. They have a food area where you can actually sit and eat. Customer service is good.

Been here a bunch of time for different things. Now every time I get meat I must smell before I leave parking lot. I have received spoiled meat 3 times. I even told them thAt meat smelt funny and next day I sent wife in to get same meat and to our surprise it was still spoiled. I now only go there to get avocados and tortillas.

This store smells really bad, the meat tastes old and smells old too therefore it must be old. Wouldn’t recommend this meat market to anyone

They have a mini restaurant inside that always has such delicious food. I wish the portions were better though. The store is clean.

Someon showed me a beef rib and man did it have MEAT on it. He said he got a slab of beef rib from here. He was not jaw jacking. Man some BIG beef ribs. Cost me $60, but it is worth it to me. Waiting til I bbq.

Sells old items. Purchased a Caramel mexican candy that was hard as a rock, went back into store to let them know and exchange to be told they were all like that you cant brake a piece out much less bite yet they are ok with this being on their shelf. This type of candy is gooey and is not suppose to be hard. No exchange even given

Caution! Please make sure the meat you purchase at this meat market is not spoiled! I have visited this location twice in the last few months and purchased chicken wings and legs. When I opened the bag, the smell was horrible! We took the chicken back and the butcher explained that the owner expects them to keep selling the chicken no matter the condition! This is very unsanitary and a lawsuit waiting to happen. They clearly do not care of their customers safety.

Best place to get fast Tex-Mex in the North Houston/ Humble area in my opinion. Also a nice market to find authentic Latin food products

Even though I live in the neighborhood, I just discovered this place. I am now addicted to their breakfast tacos, made with fresh flour tortillas. Ive also had their tostado...a crunchy treat not to be missed. Im not Mexican, but the food looks to be authentic. Finally, the ladies there are very nice, and quite attractive too!

One of my go to places in humble for tacos and last minute needs in my kitchen. Theyre hours of operation are fantastic.

WHEN I CAME HERE IT WAS DURING THE WEEKEND, THEY HAD A DEAL GOING ON IF YOU PURCHASE CHARBROILED CHICKEN IT CAME WITH SIDES...WELL ONCE I WAS AT HOME UNPACKING THE FOOD, GETTING READY TO SERVE, I OPEN MY SIDE OF SMASHED RE FRIED BEANS AND WALLA! A ROACH COMES CRAWLING OUT THE CONTAINER OF FRESH NEW BEANS THEY COOKED!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. IT GETS BETTER....I WENT BACK SPOKE TO THE MANAGER ABOUT IT. THIS LADY TREATED ME AS IF I WAS LYING TO HER!!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW UNPROFESSIONAL SHE WAS. I FINALLY GOT MY REFUND. NEVER WENT BACK. YOU HAVE BETTER LUCK GOING TO A LEGIT STORE LIKE, KROGER, FIESTA, EVEN LA MICHOACANA THAN THIS ROACH INFESTED PLACE.

If you order food CHECK YOUR RECIEPT! I stopped to eat on my way home from work with my work crew and I was overcharged for everything that I ordered. The sign above the taqueria area is not up to date So BEWARE YOU WILL BE OVERCHARGED! The food was good. The lady cook was nice. But I have a problem with seeing one price and being charged another.

El Toro meat market was great. Its super close to my house and they have fresh produce, lots of groceries cold and dry, and the meat counter was beautiful. The staff was lovely and the whole store was very tidy and clean. The hot food service counter looked good and the lady cooking had ganas. Way better than having to go to Walmart for ingredients. They have a great selection of authentic Mexican ingredients and spice packs.

Been coming since it opened food great place always clean. Meat market fresh. They offer barbacoa and carnitas so good made fresh highly recommend if you like real Mexican food.

Came to buy cheese and the guy who works at the meat counter helped me. He handed me the cheese and put it in a plastic bag and tied it I was suspicious and could also see the yellow on the cheese. I grabbed the cheese and told him that cheese was not good and gave it back to him. He then gave me another one and same was also bad. I just walked out and not coming back there again. I dont have the stomache to even eat at that place plus cant stand that chorizo smell that sticks all on your clothes. Just an advice if you do shop there check the food and make sure its not expired or anything bad with it.

Just purchased a bag of Mexican flour come to find that out of 20 bags they all were infested with bugs. I give a 3 star rating on this purchase due that I have purchased here before, but something like is to much to go unsaid, these bugs could very well be in other articles inside this store may already be an infestation of the store it self.Please note this review is only for this purchase with a focus of other items being infested.

Marinated fajitas have good flavor and dont break the bank. Basic meat selection but the carnitas are on point. And the chorizo suelto is not greasy. Chicken tacos on Saturday morning are awesome. Barbacoa is so so and the produce is not always reliable.
