Failure of a pharmacy. If you have serious medical issues and need your medication in a timely manner, absolutely do not come here under any circumstances. you WILL have issues and you will NOT get your prescription. So unbelievably rude as well. CVS needs to clear out the pharmacy and hire new staff, its beyond repair.
I’ve usually had no problems with this CVS. But lately, they’ve been automatically filling prescriptions that I don’t want filled and this is the 2nd time they’ve filled a 3 month supply when I didn’t want it. If I wanted a 3-month supply, I would’ve asked my doctor to call in a 3-month supply. My prescription was supposed to be ready yesterday at 11 AM, came today to get it. Wasn’t ready. Came back this evening and it’s triple the usual cost because they wanted to fill it for 3 months and then said I would have to wait for them to fix it. I’m going to have to start looking for a new pharmacy.
The absolute worst pharmacy that Ive ever been to. Prescriptions take forever to get filled. Prescriptions are never ready when they tell you that they are. Always feels like theyre understaffed. Awful.
Pharmacy is full of rude individuals. Ive worked in customer service for a long time, so I can identify when I am receiving good customer service. I wouldnt have left the review, if it wasnt a constant issue at this pharmacy. My mom has experienced the same thing. Ill go to Walgreens going forward, its literally across the street.
If I’m not mistaking, I believe the pharmacy assistants (cashiers) skipped their customer service orientation. Very impolite and unprofessional service I received this morning. It was like I haven’t been getting my prescriptions filled at this locations for years and treated me like I’m some person trying to get a random prescription filled. No assistance, no further information, pretty much just nope nothing, sorry bye. Take some pride in your work people, no one forced you to take the job. You chose to be in the industry that prides itself on customer service.
I went to the ER a few days ago and was prescribed some medicine to pick up here. When I went, they did not have it ready through insurance yet, and was not explained well to me. I called my doctor while I was in CVS and trying to ask a question my doctor told me to ask the pharmacist, and he was EXTREMELY rude multiple times, along with laughing at me when I was asking him a question. Would NOT recommend using this pharmacy!
Road 25 minutes to discover the 24 hr cvs was closed with a sign that said will reopen at 6 am!
Pharmacy has some of the worst employees I’ve ever talked to. My existence was a pure inconvenience to them, they even asked a lady next me “can you read?” In response to her asking about safe locations for disposing of epipen needles. I will never come back to this location. Ever.
I have to wait every time I come to pick up a prescription. They don’t know what customer service is. They keep customers standing and waiting or sitting in drive through waiting. I can’t for the life of me why would you have one person working the drive through when you are also doing COVID testing???? They don’t care if you wait just standing there counting pills. SMH
Slowest Pharmacy drive thru! Have to wait at least 10 minutes every time even if it’s only 1 person in front of me. If you go inside, still a wait. Usually 4-5 people back there so not sure why
Hands down, one of the best CVS stores around! Fast and friendly checkout service. The staff is amazing here! They always have everything I’m looking for and in stock. I love their weekly deals combined with the app and in store coupons.
I visited with my mom after being in the ED all night and hospitalized several days before that. We were both exhausted. First time visiting this location. Just wanted to grab a few items. There was a clerk in the aisles (brunette, glasses) stocking shelves. Asked her about anti-nausea meds location. She directed us to the aisle and shelf. We searched, but only saw pills related to motion sickness, which was not quite what I wanted. By this time, the clerk was in our aisle, so I asked specifically if they had any natural anti-nausea medication in elixer form. The clerk decided to repeat her previous instructions louder. When I responded, “yes, thank you, we looked there,” she immediately hurried toward the location and grabbed some Emetrol that was occluded behind a big yellow sales tag. (That’s what I wanted.) My mom & I both thanked her profusely. But the clerk said nothing, just turned her back to us and kept stocking the aisle. It was quite obvious that in her mind, we were keeping this young lady from her “work”. So I guess CVS did not include customer service in this clerk’s job description???Other than that, this location has a nice variety of items and everyone else was pleasant.
Usually good, Brunette with glasses in drive through tonight was RUDE... we didn’t “GET THE CALL” because it never works right, also answer the PHONE because we still can’t verify if medicine is ready yet, you never called! automated says it is ready, but it said the same thing before we came the 1st time!
Upon trying to make an appointment online for the MinuteClinic at 9:20, the website provided an error message and continuously suggested I try again to reserve the 9:20 appointment. So I call the store to hopefully set it manually through the minute clinic. My fiance is crying and in excruciating pain while I argue with the individual at the front desk after hearing automated messages (none of which could provide me any resolution in any conceivable universe), he pushes me beyond the appointment time. Thanks for wasting my time and exacerbating my stress because your employees arent trained.
Drive thru is horrible, always has been.
The pharmacy is providing very poor service to the customers. I only used the pharmacy section in this CVS & had worst experience . There are lot of pharmacists over there in the morning time but there is no synconization of their work . I waited for long time to have a flue shot but doctor wasnt available or what was the problem, they werent let me know clearly. Will tray to use other CVS next time.
This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. The pharmacy manager Amanda has an attitude that is very condescending and dismissive. Her attitude is so poor that my family will no longer be filling our prescriptions at this location. Looking at previous reviews, apparently this has been a continuous problem with her. I wonder when corporate will address this??
This CVS is the worst. I waited on hold for the pharmacy to answer the phone for 30 minutes. They also told me my prescription wasnt sent there when it was. So I had it sent to another pharmacy only to not be able to get it because it was at this sorry place. Never again will I be using this CVS or any CVS. I spent 2 and a half hours waiting. NEVER AGAIN
The best CVS by far! I take a lot of prescription drugs and sometimes it can be hard to manage coordinating doctor scripts and refills. The staff has always been helpful and caring. Right after the death of my husband, they knew me well enough to understand my loss. I wouldnt want to go anywhere else.
Manager was extremely rude!! Acted as my cashier but he never made eye contact, ignored me and never responded to anything I said. I will never shop here again. I prefer Walgreens anyway. Better prices and much nicer staff!!
I have been using this pharmacy for years. I have always found their employees to be helpful and polite. Today was another example of their staff going out of their way to provide great service. However, I agree with the other comments that the time waiting in the drive-thru lane is frustrating. It does seem like there are often not enough staff members to handle the workload.
So, I just talked to the pharmacy. They said that my expectation should be that I give them 1 day to fill a prescription and that if I really want to know if they have it, I should call back and talk to somebody in the pharmacy to make sure its done. I have not been able to get my prescriptions in a timely manner from them at all lately, even when I give them a day or I submit a pickup time in their automated system. And mothers, you know this can be particularly frustrating when you have little children who either need you back at home quickly, are waiting in the car with you, or - heaven forbid - need a medication that they must take quickly!!! I just want everyone to know that they need to have very low expectations of this pharmacy and their turnaround time.
I’d give it zero stars if I could spoke to two different people and both were really rude. One lady acted as if taking our insurance was the end of the world and after she did she was like well I guess it brought you down but you’re still paying .34 cents as if I’d rather of paid the 15 without my insurance... avoid at all costs.
Bad services and racist. The manager amanda with bad attitude nothing professional and I pay 2 time the medicine very rude, crazy and very racist that is very horrible education
Turned in a prescription at 6:30 and was told to come back at 9. Returned at 9 waited for 20 minutes and was told to come back at 11. Returned at 11 and was told to come back the next day because they were too busy. I’m sorry are you passing a kidney stone. I waited patiently for 5 hours. Called to beg for it to be filled and was put on hold after 1 minute without the girl taking my information only for her to never come back to the phone. Walgreens you got my full service
Great crew up front! Very courteous and willing to help out the best they can. I cannot speak for the pharmacy because I dont have my prescriptions filled there (I go to Walgreens across the street for that) but from reading these reviews, it sounds like people should do the same! I love CVSs deals though.
Up front everyone is great. But the pharmacy has hands down the rudest employees I have ever encountered. Ive given a few chances and have returned with the expectation that maybe the last time was just an off day for them. But its every time. They are miserable people and wasted their money on schooling for the wrong profession. Not an ounce of sympathy is expressed to customers. They have an attitude that gives me the impression that I am bothering them just to do their job. Dig into some of your inventory and pop some happy pills.
Worst CVS Pharmacy I have ever been too. Drive thru takes years. I have been given a prescription in a ziplock bag with label on it and another time they gave prescription with no label at all. Would not recommend this location.
Everyone in the pharmacy has always been very personable and helpful. Pam has helped me quite a few times and always has a smile on her face. I usually do not have to wait for prescriptions very long at all.
I always have to wait at this pharmacy location. Today, my doctor sent in a script, they said it was ready so I came by. After waiting 10 minutes to get through the drive up line, I pulled up to find they had decided my doctor had made an error so they didnt fill the script as written. I explained the situation and they asked me to come by in 15 minutes. I sat in parking lot with my 4 kids waiting it out only to pull back into line and wait another 15 minutes at the window. This kind of thing happens over and over again at this location, so I guess its time to pick a new location to have my scripts sent to.
The pharmacists are nice but there is almost never anyone at they front registers. I was waiting to pay with my cranky two year old by empty registers. An employee, I think a manager in a vest and tie, came by, looked at me waiting and then walked away to do something else. After waiting 5 minutes with my would-be purchases on counter, I just walked out. I guess they didn’t want to sell me about $50 worth of stuff.
Their pharmacy is TERRIBLE!! They are unprofessional and rude and 100%treat you like a number and not a person. I will NEVER go there again!
I came to this pharmacy after my daughter was in the ER across the street. I went to pick up two perscriptions. I got all the way home and noticed I only had one. So after checking my car and triple checking the bag I called the pharmacy to make sure I didnt leave it. When I told the associate I didnt receive it she responded didnt you get our text? To which I I answered no because I obviously wouldnt be be calling if I did. She stated that they were out of the the missing perscription and the earliest I could get it would be the next day. Here are my issues, I was in the store in person picking up these perscriptions why didnt someone think they should tell me in person that one of the perscriptions the ER just perscribed was out of stock. And why did the associate think asking if I received a text was an acceptable way to relay a message about a clearly necessary medicine. This location will be the first stop for many patients and their families after a hospital stay and the least they can do is be professional and use basic customer service skills to inform a customer of an outage so that they arent just waiting around and not able to benefit from the drugs they were just perscribed.
I dont mind waiting on drive thru but they could at least acknowledge that they know am here. Other than waiting time good service
Always the best customer service straight from the front door. Anything Ive needed was always in stock...
When I was sick and came to the drive through window to fill my script they told me it would be $170. I realized I hadnt checked with my insurance or anything. I gave them my card and they went through all the hoops and called my insurance for me. My two scripts went down to $10. I was so thankful to not have to deal with calling insurance when I felt so sick. Thank you to the Rosedale Pharmacy staff!
Pharmacy: I arrived at 2:35 PM about 10 minutes after I leave the doctor’s aware they may not have my subscription yet. Once I was at the front of the line to ask about my subscription, I was told they had it and would try to rush is since I was in the store (I did not ask for it to be rushed, they offered). As I watched several people come and go that were doing the same thing as me I sat wondering what was taking so long trying to remain calm. Then at 3:15 PM, I’m called back to the pick-up counter and told they need to now verify my information after I’ve been waiting 40 minutes. After which I’m told it’ll be another 10-15 minutes. At 3:30, I got in line to just check on the status since I hadn’t heard any updates and needed to get back to work. Once I was in the front of the line to pick-up, I found out it had been ready without any telling me, and not one of the pharmicists that had talked me or looked for information even offered me an apology. This town is full of options for Pharmacies, and this will definitely be the one and only time I use this location and perhaps CVS.
Always a place to rely upon, for last minute help! The pharmacist was truly helpful, in rectify a situation!
The absolute worst pharmacy to go to. I’ve had multiple problems so now we are switching pharmacies. Between texting me and saying my prescription is ready and then making me wait 45 minutes because it wasnt, to not calling to let me know my sons prescription that was called in was not in stock, I’m done. Awful service.
Best, but very busy pharmacy
Have to sit in the drive thru for a minimum of 20 mins to pickup prescription. Switched to Harris Teeter.
Extremely dissapointed with the lack of customer service and incompetence I experienced today by the pharmacy tech today. I will probably never go to this location again.
I have been stopping in every so often for small things, never had to wait to long in lines, staff is always friendly, glad to have them around
Had a prescription called in twice and they never filled it! What an inconvenience
The pharmacy here is a painful experience. They are obviously overworked. But they never have prescriptions ready when they say they will. If just seems like an unorganized mess back there. The rest of the store is nice enough.
Ignorant rude condescending dismissive pharmacist with smarmy disposition made tonights visit very upsetting. Questioning insurance and prescription requirements should never be met with this kind of rotten attitude.
Who ever is the female that works in the Pharmacy department is HORRIBLE. Constantly puts me on hold and gives attitude every time I call. Probably going to find a different CVS.
24/7 pharmacy is useless and pharmacists are rude.
I was put on hold for literally 12 minutes to talk to someone about refilling a prescription for a patient, we always have problems with this cvs
The service was average. The manger however had some items labeled wrong and would not give it to me for that price and was not customer friendly with an oh well attitude.
Same as it ever was
