Extra Space Storage was clean and easily accessible. The unit size is perfect for my items. However, during the inquiry and set up process, they were not upfront about the fees added on top of the prices quoted initially. For instance, they wanted to charge me for insurance on the unit when my renters insurance already covered it. I felt this was intentionally misleading.

Show me exactly what I needed. She even stayed late while I attempted to get in touch with my bank. Excellent support staff whenever needed. Clean, secure with easy access. Never a problem with the payments being messed up. The staff was very helpful when I needed to combine two units.

Their prices are higher than other areas due to their proximity to a major college. Also, I have other Extra Storage units in other cities, but they were not able to link my accounts. Instead I was forced to sign up like an entirely new customer!

Storage here is good. It is clean and safe. Sometimes it is difficult to find a cart. Overall it is nice. Pricing is decent.

If I could give zero stars I would. We were excited to find a storage facility that was indoors, climate controlled and close to our home. However, after only a very short period of time we began noticing mice droppings all over our items. We brought this to the attention of management twice. Both times we were assured that they had addressed the issue and the mice were no longer a problem. Unfortunately, the droppings in our unit only increased. It was disgusting. We had absolutely no food in our unit so nothing in our unit attracted the mice— they were clearly already at the facility. We only had furniture and a few rugs In our unit. The infestation was never properly dealt with, so we removed our items, did some deep cleaning of our items and cancelled our rental unit. A few weeks ago, I read some reviews to see if we were the only ones with this issue. There were multiple other reviews stating there mice droppings. That’s when we decided to get out. However today, it seems as if those reviews have completely disappeared. I didn’t realize those reviews were removed so i edited my post to show that whatever they did, it feels dishonest. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Reserved a 5x10 unit only to find out they gave me 2 2.5x5 units next to eachother. They arent connected and you cant even fit a mattress in it. When I questioned the unit they said thats what I was getting and they didnt have another one. I discourage renting from here online. What a joke.

My experience thus far with Extra Space Storage in Huntersville, NC has been great! The staff are extremely friendly and personable. They have made me feel comfortable through my transition and allowed me to tour the facility after making knowledgeable suggestions regarding how much space I should invest in. I have primarily worked with James and he has been a great asset since this is my first time utilizing a storage unit. I am looking forward to moving my items into my unit this weekend and am confident that my experience will be nothing less than five stars with this company.

We absolutely love our experience at Extra Space in Huntersville. James was amazing and very helpful! We enjoyed his humor and willingness to answer our questions and help us understand how to get through the facility. Stephanie was also extremely nice and welcoming when we came in. Security is great and the place is well lit.

This is a great facility. It is very clean and well-kept. I especially like the covered driveway. It is great for loading and unloading even in bad weather. James helped me find the right storage unit for my needs. He was very patient as he explained all my options and let me see all my choices so that I could pick the storage unit I wanted. He was so friendly, patient, kind and helpful. What an awesome employee.

I was able to get a unit same day, and pricing was very fair compared to others places in the area. Heres what I didnt like....locks there should be a rental option or maybe key code. You are mandated to have insurance so it increases the price of your unit. Staff is very friendly & helpful. You feel like youre talking to family.

Sharon was great! Explained the process and got the signup completed quickly! The building is well secure.I would have appreciated the option of 24 hour access or at least granted temporary 24 hour access. But I didn’t think that was going to be an issue.Well I had already signed and paid at that point. My stay here will be short because of this time restrictions.The company should consider changing the access hours if only by each clients needs.

Great building manager. Very clean facility. Easy access. Paperwork is very easy and quick. They sell locks there if you didnt buy one. Very secure facility with the multiple key pads. I rent two units here and have done so for the last 9 months. One thing people need to understand, there is only one building manager and he/she is probably walking another client around if you arrive to the office and no one is there. They cant be in two places at once. Be understanding.

We are moving soon from a few states away and needed to store some items for the time being. I was hesitant to use CubeSmart because the units available were on the third floor. However, they have a large cargo elevator and flatbed carts to use and they assigned us a unit near the elevator. The facility was clean, in a nice area and secure. I felt totally comfortable leaving our items in storage with them. The associates were friendly, welcoming and courteous.
