When I married my husband in 2006, I was worried I would have to give up my Volvo mechanic where I lived. Not to worry. For each issue my 14 year Volvo, Ara, the co-owner of G&A, has been spot on to diagnose the problem almost instantly and tries to choose the repair option of least expense.Today I took my Volvo in for inspection. I was worried this time. Every panel light had come alive on my car for several days and the car was sluggish. After describing the issue to Ara, he immediately said, before his car inspection, It sounds like a power problem. He pulled his mechanic off another job and asked that he run a power test on my car. Sure enough, the problem was the battery. My husband had installed a new battery about 8 weeks ago and Ara and his mechanic found the battery had not been correctly bolted down. This could be the cause of all your issues, Ara told me. Now, take the car, drive it and call me if you have any other concerns. There was N/C for his inspection. Any other mechanic may have seen this as a wonderful opportunity to run up a huge bill. Not Ara or George. I believe this could be their slogan as Ive heard them say this over and over again, We are always fair to be people and sleep well at night.
