Dan McCann, the design consultant, was absolutely fabulous. He was totally in-tune with what I was trying to accomplish, which was to maximize the space of our closets. We went through several design iterations together, which was a fun & collaborate experience. The final product was exactly as I had hoped it would be. Every inch of the closet was utilized and beautifully done. I. LOVE IT!

Our designer Lori did a fantastic job in designing our bedroom walk in closet and our shoe/miscellaneous closets. She made excellent recommendation on materials and hardware. In addition, while we were dealing with a medical issue she worked to accommodate our schedules and made herself available to cover for us while we attended to medical needs.The installers were also professional and efficient, and did an excellent job completing our job.Overall, it was a very positive experience from start to finish. We had known for some time that we needed some kind of shelving in our living room but beyond that really didnt know what we were looking for. Ashley explained what was possible, then helped us with every step from the design plan to the fine tuning following the installation. The shelving is perfect and we owe it all to Ashley and the California Closets team. They are highly skilled professionals who make it their business to be sure the customer is happy and satisfied with the result. Ashley and the team also did some work in our walk-in closet, installing a set of drawers and that came out just right too. Claudia Zelaya, the excellent designer for California Closets, worked with us to create the media room of our dreams. We had some definite ideas and Claudia ran with them and provided some wonderful suggestions that enhanced our concept. This is my second closet remodel. Upon purchasing a new home, I called CC to schedule a consult. In the midst of the world falling apart, I was able to meet with a consultant, pick out my ideal closet and schedule installation. The technician was top notch! He did such an amazing job! California Closets built a wonderful closet in our newly remodeled beach cottage. The most important thing for us was to have every space used. We have very little storage. The closet is amazing. I am so impressed with this company. I wish they could do ALL my closets. I will use them again and again.

While it was a pleasure working with my sales associate, I was disappointed with the manufacturing of my closet system. I had specific requests that I was told wouldnt be a problem, but werent done when it came time to install. At install, closet options indicated on my contract were not included, hinges on the doors didnt align properly, etc. They had to come out repeatedly to correct these issues. The one design I specifically asked for I had to abandon. The closets look great, but overall for the price paid I was left somewhat underwhelmed.

Design consultant was very professional and creative, installers battled tough weather and closed roads to get up our mountain. Installers were friendly, clean, efficient and did a terrific job!(Score 10 out of 10)

Purchased a walk in closet install about 10 years ago from California Closets here in OC. Had a small issue recently and they came out and fixed it same day at no cost. Pretty impressive. Highly recommend.

California Closets did our master bedroom closet. Though it wasnt cheap, and there are lots of add ons that you just cant say no to, our closet looks like a million bucks and is so much better organized and fits so much more stuff. It was definitely worth every penny and I would do it again in a heart beat.

I’ve used California closets many times over the years and they never disappoint. Lori, the designer, had great ideas for my 2 hall closets making them functional and pretty. The installation is top notch. Clean and professional. While they aren’t the cheapest out there, the value is in the product. I wouldn’t go with any other closet company. Can’t wait to use them for the last closet I have left to do!

Perhaps not the least expensive option for a renovated closet, but in my opinion, the best choice for me. Heather designed the perfect closet for my needs. I absolutely love it! Money well spent. They were professional, and quickly fixed a couple of minor issues. The installers were clean and efficient. Very pleased I chose California Closets.

We had California Closets build our walk-in closet. The designer came up with ideas we didnt even know were available. They were quick, clean and very professional. The cost was affordable, as we chose the mid-range product. Its been a almost a year and we are still very happy with our new closet. Or i guess I should say My wifes new closet! Happy wife, happy life.

We had a wonderful experience with California Closets updating our garage. Allisson was very helpful in the design, on time and accomodating. She made it clear the job would not be finished until we were satisfied. All the work went according to schedule and really couldnt be happier with the quality of the work and the end result. HIghly recommend California Closets and would use their service again in the future.

The work turned out nice. We had three closets done. It was done by one person in a few hours. The person that came for the initial consultation was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. My only disappointment in the product is that the imprecise initial measurement created approximately 2 plus inches on each side of one of the closets between wall and closet. You don’t see it face on because of the facing but on top there is a space on each side where stuff can fall down and never be retrieved. That’s happened already. I really feel if they were going to leave such a space, on each side, that they should have covered it. Otherwise they have created a beautiful product.

Top notch work from California Closets. From the early consultations, communications over email tweaking the designs, to the delivery and install day. The team at California Closet does great professional work. Would definitely look at ordering another closet system from them again. Which reminds me, our garage could use something...

Moved into a new house and California Closets helped us design and install a new media center in our living room. Start to finish they were great and an awesome experience - designing something that tied into our existing finishes, checking out some of the elements and hardware at their Santa Monica store, and the install. While there was a delay in getting a few fixtures due to materials being unavailable, they communicated this timely and followed up as soon as it was ready. Easily recommend.

Allisson was fabulous! We have a small home & needed every inch of space & she came up with innovative ideas & we were able to do a few virtual calls to design them together. Our closets are now one of our favorite places in the house!!! We highly recommend Allisson & CC!!!

Had a great experience throughout the whole process. Scheduled a consult with designer Michelle Gillespie for our master walk in closet and loft area. She incorporated everything we wanted and more in both locations. The installers, Juan Hernandez and Emmanuel, did a wonderful job with the installation. They were very professional and kept the area clean.Everything looks absolutely beautiful. Our master closet is definitely the star. Michelle made great use of the spaces. We honestly have more space now than stuff to fill it with. Lol. 1000% would recommend to everyone.If we have any future projects, would definitely use CA Closets again and have Michelle do the design and Juan and Emmanuel install. I visited the showroom many times to view different finishes and colors, etc. Great showroom, the best colors and finishes of all the vendors. The scheduler was on top of everything, the installers were so exacting and pro - and fast. I am very impressed. Very important - the detail and trim pieces and caulking of the seams on the installed closets are so well done - it becomes immediately apparent to any viewer - especially my wife - that these are now high-end great looking closets. All the CALIFORNIA CLOSET people who I came in contact with are totally pro, mature, understand the value of pleasing the client. Im really happy we had our closet built by California Closets. The whole process went easily and smoothly. Their designer came to our house, measured the closet, and asked us a few questions about what kind of space we need (bar, shelf, drawer, etc). Then using her laptop and their special software, she dragged, dropped, and sized all the components quickly onto a drawing. We discussed special items like jewelry drawer, shoe shelves, belt/tie racks, baskets, laundry hampers, etc. and those were added. She had samples of the wood and cloth to make it easy to pick. She was immediately able to show us a 3D view of the closet and look at it from all angles, as well as the exact cost. We made a few adjustments to the design. We were done in about an hour. The order was placed, and a few weeks later they came out to install our custom closet. They did a very nice installation, and left the site completely clean. It couldnt have been a better experience.

The entire process from the design consultation to the installation was just what I would expect from a company of this caliber. My installer even noticed that my hamper door was warped and not up to their standards and let me know they would take care of replacing that. I didnt have to wait long at all to get that corrected. When they did come back, I shared that the hamper door seemed hard to pull and they made an adjustment that fixed that issue right away!I couldnt be happier with the quality and service. I cant wait to do my next space!

I came here to look for ideas for our master closet, we didnt have an appointment nor talked to anyone before heading in . My husband and I were greeted promptly by front desk. As stroll around we were greeted by Valerie as senior designer. Valerie was able to walk us around explaining their promotions as well asking us what we wanted. We set an appointment for an estimate. Valerie remember every detail we were asking about when she came and mapped it out for us. Their system is sophisticated and I love the 3D pictured that helps it really visualize what may go into your closet.So far we have not committed but still exchanging emails to see other options.Friendly and great customer service.
