Ive always heard that you should never go to a dealership for maintenance and repair, they will over charge...blah blah blah. I must say that my Experience at Norm Reeves, Huntington Beach has been great. I bought my car there and I have never been anywhere else. The service department is great. I trust them with my car. I never feel like Im being pushed into unnecessary services. Actually after going there a few times for standard maintenance, I started getting coupons via email with great deals on upcoming maintenance and services. Benito Torres was my service representative today and hes knowledge and pleasant. I got thorough information and I was given options of what should be done, he was not pushy just in formative and friendly. I will continue to take my car there in the future.
My husband and I went here after going to a few other places. After going to many dealerships, where the dealers were trying to strong arm is into buying something we didn’t want. It was refreshing to go here where they gave us the tools we needed to find the car that met our needs, was within our budget, and also gave us the space to look around the lot and talk it over privately. Gilbert was fantastic. He really worked with us to made sure we left happy. As well as Ryan. Everyone there was very nice. If I or someone I know is ever looking for car, I’m definitely referring them to this location!

My experience was less than stellar. I dropped my car off in service on Saturday. I was told my car would not be ready until the end of the day, so I was given the option of picking it up on Sunday. When I arrived to pick it from sales, because Service was closed, I was told by one of the sales associates, “My boss said we are resurfacing the lot and you have to come tomorrow”. I said no I need my car today. I work on Monday and was told by Tony Logos that I could pick up my car. I could see my car and thought it was so crazy that I would have to come back on a weekday if the car was ready and I had no idea that I wouldn’t be able. One of the sales associates was extremely rude to me and filmed me with his phone as I drove the car off of the lot. I was told to “please leave”. None of this was my fault. I spent $1077 in service and have purchased two cars from this very dealership. This place will get their wish. I will leave no problem and I will take my money somewhere else. The sales department needs to learn to treat their customers better. They could have offered me a “loaner” or helped me but instead they offered me nothing except aggravation that I didn’t need and was told to “just leave”. So, check in with sales. They will remember me. They followed me out and recorded me with their cellphones. Good job, Norm Reeves Honda Superstore! You lost a loyal customer.

I recently bought a car at this dealership, and I had an excellent experience. I was greeted as soon as I pulled into the parking lot and escorted to my appointment with Ted. Ted is a great salesman that is easy-going and knowledgeable about the car I was interested in. He is a nice guy and a good conversationalist. I then met Connie that handled finance etc. She also had great customer service and got me through the process quickly and accurately. I recommend this car dealership.
Dont waste your time with these bait and switch scam artists. Looked at a vehicle and was extremely interested. Let them know that I was available 2 business days later to take a final look and likely purchase then made an appointment. Hours before my appointment, I get a text informing me the vehicle was sold and I was welcome to come look at some more expensive poorer value vehicles. I will never give my business to these con artists.
I have not bought a vehicle in 21 years. Needless to say walking into the dealership was scary. My experience turned out to be so wonderful. From the 1st phone call to actually walking in, I was treated so nicely. My salesman Jonathan was just fantastic. I am an old little Italian grandma and he just took his time, treated me with such respect, that I felt so comfortable. I am very satisfied with my vehicle and with the whole experience. Fair price, honest answers and good customer service. Have zero regret on my decision to go with Norm Reeves.

I came on the property with a mindset of wanting to buy a new Honda CRV and was never greeted by anyone. I walked around outside near the glass windows looking at the two 2021 Honda CRVs parked outside for 15 minutes and had a honda sales guy pass us to go help someone else look at a car without saying hello. Then we walked inside to look at showroom models and were not greeted again while walking inside including the woman at the front answering phone calls who wasnt busy at the time. 3 sales guys were working with 1 person on the showroom floor and never said hello to us when we walked past them to look at the 2022 red Honda CRV touring hybrid model. Then we went to the book to look at interior/ exterior options and even waited around to speak to someone to ask a question. We never once got to talk to someone and decided to leave because of the poor customer service. To top it off the dealership lot didnt even have alot of CRVs to look at. We will be going go purchase a 2022 Honda CRV at another location.

This dealership is almost out of new cars, with very few selections. I tried to work around my requirements about the car which I was looking for, but it’s really bad when you’re about to finish a deal and find out they changed the prices and tried to trick you that this is what you agreed to. I had an unfortunate experience with someone by the name of “ZIGGY” the sales manager, he almost kicked me out and his attitude was really bad, once I re-read the deal and realized it had been changed. I wish the Honda Dealership, to investigate if they care about customer service. Unfortunately, they wasted my time, and attempted to change prices behind my back. The customer service was very unsatisfactory, that is why they have a well deserved one star.
We needed to upgrade from our two extremely old cars and Mike Lott at Norm Reeves was a terrific help. The only dealer to try and sell you a car with 4k miles and say its new.When we asked why the car had 4kmiles on it they said thats the car the manager uses to drive around and takes home...they said not to worry about the 4k miles because on paperwork the car would be ZERO miles...we left to Scott Robinson Honda and picked up TWO Honda Accord Sports Touring that were actually NEW!!

Bought certified used and at my very first scheduled maintenance at another norm reeves I was told it needed about $750 worth of work. As it happens, they didn’t even put the plastic clips back in the splash guard after changing the oil. I’d go to a private seller before ever coming back to these cheapskates

I recently sold a leased VW Jetta to Norm Reeves Honda Huntington Beach. I had issue when VW Credit played the game regarding the lease payoff amount for Customer and VW dealer is much different (less) than if i sell the car to any 3rd party on Non VW dealers. I never heard of this game before despite i have leased many cars before including VW. Luckily, Kevin Olive, Norm Reeves Honda Used Car Manager, stepped in an went out of his way to resolve the issue for me. It’s a lengthy process but Kevin thoroughly followed up to get the help resolving the issue, and today I received my equity difference check. Kevin is an example of great customer oriented type of Manager and have demonstrated his professionalism in handling transactions with customer. I recommend Norm Reeves Honda for their customer oriented policy, especially with Kevin Olive and I also want to thank Krystiana, the ICO coordinator whom also helped me communicated with Kevin in the beginning part of the transaction. Experience started out as great, young guy was very helpful in getting us in a test drive. We wanted to get a price for the package we were interested in so they took us inside. After we confirmed more than two times that we didnt want to go home with a vehicle today, they had us sit at a desk for almost 20 minutes while he talked with his manager. After all that waiting he came back and said his manager was too busy to give us a price unless we committed to purchasing and to come back when we are ready to buy - how can we be committed without knowing the price? Terrible experience.

This dealership provided an incorrect vehicle history report (CarFax) so they could sell me a car for more than it was worth. I paid for a CPO vehicle with no damage, but later found that the car had been in an accident when another dealership ran the VIN #.

I just recently traded my 2015 Honda Civic in for a 2018 Honda Civic as my lease ended. I have had a great experience with Honda for 3 years, but Connie Borja, Mike Lott and Jesse Martinez made my experience with Honda 10x better. Very bad service today I took my car to change some parts of the bumper and they gave me a bad job instead of fixing it they left it worse the car the bumper was badly assembled instead of fixing it the service person called ivette rodriguez no longer wanted go back, remove the bumper to be able to adjust it too, another person came with her a man knows her name and almost got to discuss with me what bad service they give no more, I never go back to that honda reeves from Huntington beach

This was my first foray into me personally getting a car, and honestly thought it was going to be completely different compared to the horror stories and tropes of car buying I grew up hearing. I walked in, was greeted, and the dealer (Art) I was exchanging emails with came out and we started the whole process. I knew what I wanted, a Honda Civic, but I was flexible on the color. I ended up with the Steel Metallic and a dark interior, so I am enjoying the goth mood extending to my vehicle. Art was friendly and straight to the point, and everyone there was so nice. While Id like to see more masks being worn by the employees/customers, I felt relatively safe being there as the cubicles and offices are naturally separated by high partitions and glass doors.Overall, this was a really good first time experience and I am so happy to be driving again after 8 months when my first car out of high school ran its course. Thank you for helping me, and thank you for your kindness during this trying time.
I just got played! I should have known better. I called on a vehicle, came to agreement on price, had contract filled out by Fortino and sent to me. Even though I was going to pay for vehicle outright I was made to fill out credit application, after filling out application I had received phone call from another sales person telling me I was approved. Approved? I was buying vehicle outright, I want looking for someone to try sell me a newer vehicle. I was called by 6 different people on this vehicle, they all telling me something different. But finally I got everything straightened out, set up next day delivery. Then within hours Ted called me (whom I already spoke to about vehicle, who already new I was purchasing vehicle) and told me the vehicle had been still that morning! It is very hard for me to believe they have such good reviews on Google. Typical salesmen, hustlers. Stay away.

Purchased a used 2016 Accord Sport in February. I was pleased with fast service and the hassle-free test driving experience. Showed up to the dealership after making an appointment with Youssef, and he met me without any wait time. I was given the keys to the vehicle and was able to take a test drive without the awkwardness of having a salesman on the car with you trying to convince me “why I needed that car”. After a quick test drive, it was back to the negotiating table. I liked the car due to the amazing like-new condition of the vehicle, the extra bells and whistles, and the price. After a brief, and usual, back and forth with the finance company, we agreed on a deal. I was able to finance the car through my credit Union right on the spot, instead of using Honda’s bank. The final paperwork took longer than expected but I was pleased with my purchase. I was able to purchase an extended warranty that protected the car for the next 4 years. As I walked out to receive the keys to my newly acquired vehicle, I was surprised to find out the car only came with one key. Being a used car, I guess it’s normal for cars to come with only 1 key. I just wish I was told this information beforehand, instead of being surprised after I had already signed all my paperwork. Overall the buying process was very smooth and the service was excellent. I would recommend Tame Youssef as your point of contact when buying a vehicle from this location.UPDATE: after having the car for almost 1 month and less than 1000 miles, I got a check engine light on my dash. Took the car back to the dealership and dropped it off for inspection. Turned out the car had a faulty catalytic converter and needed to stay over night for a free warranty replacement. The next day, I received a call from the service desk telling me they had received the wrong part and needed the car for another day. While I had the service tech on the line, I inquired about a price for a spare key. I was advised the key would cost $192!! I called Youssef (sales person) and expressed my dissatisfaction with the inconvenience of being without a car for 3 day after only owning it for less than a month, and about the price for a key I didn’t know would cost so much money. The next day, I picked up my car and paid for a new spare key minus $50 off. The car has been running smooth without any issues so I’m happy everything worked out but I was disappointed I had to go through 3-days of car repair less than a month into owning it. Also, was not happy about the whole spare key price, I wish they would’ve just thrown in a free key for the inconvenience. I guess it’s a lesson learned on my part. This would’ve been a 5-star review if it hadn’t been for the 3 days car repair, and a very expensive spare key. Aside from the minor hiccup this place is very clean, friendly, and professional. I would still recommend this dealership and Youssef as your salesman, and I will come back next time I’m on the market for my next Honda.

If youre doing your best to not get covid, dont come here. Half of the employees werent wearing masks. Some had their masks pulled down, some were holding them in their hands, some had no visible mask at all. It was a very uncomfortable situation to be in while waiting for the finance department. It was ironic given how many signs there were telling everyone that Norm Reeves cares about safety so please wear a mask. The only positive thing about the experience was that we were only there for 15 minutes.

My wife and I bought a Certified 2017 Civic yesterday from Art. We had a great experience with both him and Ed, the manager. They were patient with us and didn’t pressure us into buying anything that we didn’t want. Earlier that day we had gone to a dealer in Pasadena and had a pushy salesman, who didn’t have any knowledge on the car we were trying to buy. Art was knowledgeable and helped get us a good deal!
Buyer Beware! Dont ever use this dealers pricing sheet for accessories. It includes charges like $100 to install floor mats.As a three-time customer, and a customer who came in through the Costco pricing, I could not be more disappointed in this dealership. Not only did I not receive the 15% Costco guaranteed discount on accessories, I discovered that I was charged over the retail price listed on the corporate website. When I reached back to notify the salesman of the error his response was, I do believe that I had no wrong doing in this matter and if you do have concerns regarding the pricing the GM may need to hear it. WOW! You may want to find a dealer with a little more integrity.
Avoid this dealership like the plague to save yourself the headache. In short, I purchased a brand new 2020 vehicle here and have brought it back more times than I can count for consistent sensor failures. I think Ive been to Norm Reeves HB over 30 times in the last year.At first, they got me on a lease. The salesman, J.C., knew next to nothing about the car he was selling me & constantly had to lookup answers to my questions on his computer. We eventually agreed on a lease, and I drove off with the car that evening. A week later, I received numerous phone calls from the financing manager, Delphine Smith, who said the bank did not want to take on the lease, and that I had to return the car. Essentially, they let me drive off with the car before securing the financing. How professional.Still eager to get behind the wheel of a Honda, we decided to go with a regular financing loan for a new 2020 Honda Civic. Admittedly, I was naive, but they ended up sneaking in so many add-ons and hidden fees that I was left in the dirt with a $45,000 sale price on a $24,000 car.I thought that was the end of it when not even a week later, 3 sensor failure lights lit up on my dash. I took it to the service dept at Norm Reeves, who cleared the lights and sent me about my day. They came back a couple weeks later. Same routine -- dropped it off, they couldnt find anything wrong with it, and returned it back to me only for the lights to return again. Eventually, they replaced the Brake Switch Circuit (on two occasions), which did not remedy the issue. They sent me off with the car suggesting I was driving it wrong & that there was nothing else they could do for me.Im left with a defective car & a $45,000 tab. Im sure Paul will reply with his feel-good Public Relations response when he has no intention on actually making the situation whole. So save yourself the headache & shop elsewhere.
I used Kelley Blue Book’s instant cash offer tool to advertise my car to local dealerships. This dealership reached out to me interested in buying my car. This review is not aimed towards that process or the associate who helped me out as they were both great.My review is aimed towards whatever process this dealership has in place to purchase used vehicles. I sold my vehicle on a Saturday and was told that due to it being a weekend, they did not have any finance people in to process the check I’d be receiving, so I would likely be able to pick it up the upcoming Monday or Tuesday. Weird, but understandable. I call Monday and Tuesday but no check. I call Wednesday and my advisor was off. Again, understandable but why not have another person who could help me? The advisor went out of their way to call the dealership for me to find out about updates.It’s Thursday and I call them to hear that not only was there no check, but that they’ve recently developed a new process whereby the check needs to go through their corporate offices and then it gets sent to my address. Why was I not told about this on the Saturday I sold my car to you? I’m willing to give people the benefit of the doubt but why couldn’t this have been said before I signed off all the documents?At this point it seems like no one at this dealership knows when I’ll get my check or how I’ll be able to track it once corporate decides to send it. I don’t feel like I’m being unreasonable or impatient here. I give you car and you give money. It’s that simple.
Buying a pre-owned vehicle here on December 20th was a good experience. The salesman and finance department were easy to work with.Unfortunately, this is where the good feeling ends. As a condition of the sale, 2 speakers were to be replaced. I had to return Monday to finish paperwork and have the issue resolved. I was informed on Monday that because it was a different make and the holiday, it would be a week to get the parts. Appointment scheduled for following Monday. I drove to the dealership that Monday in a rain and hail storm. After about an hour in the waiting area I was informed that the parts werent in. A Phone call wouldve been great. Told me to call on Wed. Nothing. Told to call Friday..Nothing. Call Monday. Nothing. Call around noon tomorrow, it is scheduled for delivery. At noon I was told to call at 3. At 3pm, the part is in! Someone will call you back in 5 minutes to schedule installation. You guessed it. At 5:30 I went down and picked up my speakers and am installing them myself January 5th. No calls ..No follow-up..Nothing. I am so angry and frustrated that I would return the car and buy one somewhere else if I could. ☆ NEVER AGAIN ☆
I purchased a 2007 Honda CR-V. Everyone who helped me was very friendly. Kevin went over and above to make sure everything was in perfect condition and taken care of efficiently. I’m so happy with my car.
Be cautious when buying a car from this dealership!!! I recently purchased a used vehicle here, and I’m far from impressed. The salesperson was very friendly and courteous. The problem that I have with this dealership is they are very shady with the cars. After a few car washes that I hand washed myself, I started noticing a ton of scratches on the paint. There was also some touch up paint work that was done to the car, and after about a month it all started to come off. Make sure you have them thoroughly wash the car before you buy. Total scam artists here I’m very disappointed in my experience with this car dealership.

Had a good experience with Nik Kharb. The process was smooth and simple with quick and clear answers to all the questions we had. We had no trouble and it was a lot easier than I imagined it would be.
Last night I completed the 4th lease from Norm Reeves Honda since 2014. This was the 13th Honda for my family from all dealers and the 34th car I have leased or owned in my lifetime of driving from the age of 15.HUNTER from mgmt, Frank from sales and Bre from the transfer team, all worked extremely hard to please this committed Honda guy! Had a great experience here. I worked directly with Chris Momo and he took great care of me. These guys honored their word on the deal we struck over the phone and did a great job of getting me out as fast as possible. Stand-up guys (and gals) who keep their word. Danny (Sales Manager) was great as well. I will absolutely go to Momo and Norm Reeves Honda for all of my future Honda need.
I had a smooth buying experience at Norm Reeves Honda in Huntington Beach!!!Bo Sepehri, Joe Harper and Amit Chopra took awesome care of my needs.Dustin Sava had the financial paperwork together which expedited the process, which always makes it nice.There were only two things I wasnt very pleased with 1) I asked if they could fill my tank with gas and was insured they would, but it was only half way full, 2) I didnt receive a hard copy of the owners manual only a DVD which isnt helpful if Im on the road.Im sure they can correct these two issues. Other than that, it was a great experience!!!
Came in to see if this honda would beat the best price i got from 4 other dealers, Jonathan helped me out as soon as i came in the lot, he was busy helping another customer but offered to help me as soon as he was done. After a couple minutes he showed up and helped me out. They closed at 9pm. But he helped me out till 12:30am to get my car that same day left at 1:30am with my new 2018 Honda Civic Ex-T
Came in for a recall on my CR-V and the gentleman that helped me (I think his name was Benito), was super helpful and very cheerful! Thanks for always taking care of me!
Two things to say. 1- Barry was my salesman whom Ican not say enough good things about. Selfless attitude and very attentive. 2- I have been in the auto repair industry for 32 years and the used Honda we purchase was in top shape, everyting I would have wanted to be serviced on the car before purchasing it was done, from the transmission fluid to the wiper blades and brakes were serviced. I would trust this dealership and I am looking for a second car to purchase from Barry and this dealer ship.
My family and I had a great experience. We are very grateful with Michael Lott, he went above and beyond our expections. He went over every detail, most importantly paying close attention to my mothers needs. Thanks to Michale’s help my mother was able to drive out with a brand new car, that fulfills all her needs. But what meant the most to us was seeing that priceless smile on her face .. words can’t describe how greatful we will always be to Michale and the Honda team for making this happen.

Was in the market for a pre-owned car, but after weighing the options, Norm Reeves offered a great deal on a new 2020 - Couldnt believe I was getting a new car with my more than bad credit. Art worked with me for over two weeks over the phone on getting me my new Honda Fit. I had my previous one for 10 years, and it was time for a new one. He was very flexible with all my changing work schedules and self quarantining! I never felt rushed or hassled. I took my 2020 honda accord that I bought new in for warranty work on the front seat due to the stitching separation they took over a week to fix when i was told 6hrs by the service director Anthony I go to pick the car up and the workmanship on the seats was horrible they look nothing like a new accord that I took the gm and sevice director over to compare they responded this is the best we can do the factory seats in the car on the show room floor accord are done at hondas factory is why there perfect and mine are not going to be the same the gm stated i said i bought a new car the seats should look like the new accord on the show room floor basically told me i can take my car and are unwilling to make it right and finish the job they started the gm and sevice director
This was one of the best shopping experience I ever had. No pressure, no games. Jonathan gave me the best price right off the bat. I came in and had a pleasant experience test driving the car with David and going through the finance process. I would buy a car here again.
HORRIBLE PLACE TO BRING YOUR CAR.THEY YELL AT THEIR CUSTOMER, AND ALSO DO NOT TRANSFER THE CALL TO THE CORRECT PERSON. ABSOLUTELY MY MISTAKE TO BRING AND TRUST THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT.I will be also very concerned before you bring your car here for service.Added note: I did call plenty of time, I did state on my original message this place do not transfer the call to the correct person, in the end they do not even answer my call... Jonathan was great, he helped me find the right CRV and had great customer service. The finance and service department were also fast and efficient, would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family.
This review is long overdue, but my husband and I would like to give big thanks to MICHAEL LOTT! Michael was extremely professional and gave us the best no-hassle price on our 2019 Honda Odyssey (he’s firm on his quote because it really is the lowest price quote that we got from multiple dealers in the area). When we met up with him, we chatted and he’s really the funniest salesman we’ve met. When it was time to sign the papers and put down our cash down payment, he even let us know that we could put up to $5000 on our credit card to get points (we had no idea we could do that!) and then just pay that off with with our cash. Double win! Dustin, the finance manager, was so nice and personable as well. Dustin was knowledgeable, gave us all the choices and discounts available for warranty packages, but when we declined to buy the warranty, he did not pressure us at all. The process was extremely quick and efficient, we loved them both and highly recommend you work with Michael and Dustin if you’re looking for your next Honda. Michael even followed up with us a couple days later to see how we’re enjoying our car. We will definitely return for our next car and will recommend them to everyone we know. Thank you Michael!

I am so happy with my purchase. I purchased a 2019 Honda CR-V from Art Munoz at Norm Reeves Honda. He was so great at explaining the specs of the car and walked me through the process. He answered my questions and I never felt rushed at all. I was hesitant but he put my concerns at ease. Once I agreed to purchase, Delphine in Finance was great in explaining all the details of my purchase. My friend came with me while we negotiated the purchase and now shes considering purchasing a car with Honda. Great experience all around!
