Fresh, funky, and fun atmosphere at Strange Cereal. Dont let the rough interior fool you, it is a hidden gem thats in the midst of being polished into a diamond. The employees are helpful and friendly. I have been a frequent customer for the past few weeks and the Strange Cereal shop feels like a community of like-minded and fun people who have similar interests.If you spend the time to look through the comics, you can find hidden treasures, from variant covers to original first issue comics from 20 years ago. The pricing of the comics are all based off of fair market value and comic grade values, so the prices are reasonable along with the comics conditions.In addition to comics, Strange Cereal offers community events and a location to hang out and play tabletop games. I havent tried the other things in the shop but I look forward torwards to trying them in the near future.

The look is amazing and has such a great selection. Its pretty cool how all the displays have been comic themed and personalized.

A real diamond in the rough. I would have never seen this place if I didnt have to travel down Gothard. Nice place and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The atmosphere and decor really set this place different from other comic book stores. Ironically they sell Laughing Man coffee, so it is coffee shop also. They do have a book club that meets and a nice size back room. Since this type of shop is a bit hard to find these days I would recommend stopping by and checking it out, you wont be disappointed.

I love the custom decor. Its obvious that a lot of work went into it. Friendly service and a pretty good selection. Gonna pick up a Strange Cereal Box next time Im in there.

Hipster ran coffee shop maybe??? They are all about the atmosphere pretending to be a comic book store... but no new comics sold here just dollar bin junk at marked up prices. Avoid this faker!!!!

This place has a large range of back issues but prices marked are a bit odd, some things you can find in any dollar bin are marked 3.99, but other things that are a bit pricey are cheap. This is a good place to go if you want something specific and cant find it else where. The clerks were very hospitable but mainly the prices are why I gave this a 3

Unfortunately Strange cereal closed down it was a nice store filled with vintage comics.However inside Westminster mall, there is a big 4000 sqft Comics and Anime store,They are next to JC Penney, they do have new comics every Wednesday and over 10000 vintage comics.They are famous for being the largest funko pop store in orange county.

Strange Cereal is a fresh take on comic book stores. Im pretty casual when it comes to comics, having said that I have visited a few shops in the past and they all have the same stereotypes... having cramped spacing, low ceilings, and depressing atmosphere. This store is a breath of fresh air, and the custom decor brings the store to life.If comics are not your thing, its a chill place to study or have a cup of coffee and a snack. They also have booths available if you want to come in with friends to play Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, or DnD. I usually drop in weekly since I live near by, and the store is always getting an update or expansion. Its very exciting! I overheard that a cafe and bar are in the works, cant wait to see that happen!I definitely recommend coming in to check this place out!

Strange Cereal is welcoming, fun, friendly and super quirky. I love the atmosphere that they’re going for; a chill, cafe style environment to hang out in, play some board games, and to meet new friends in. They have all sorts of comic books, ranging from number 1 issues to variant covers as well as other comic related collectibles. The decor is fun, fresh and customized.I attended their Pokémon Go PVP event, and let me tell you, it was amazing. The entire place was full with friendly and cool people, and the venue had food and drinks for a reasonable price. Not only that, you could pick up customized Pokémon coasters at the event. Talk about fan service.Wether you want to make new friends or meet with old ones, Strange Cereal caters to all, welcoming you with open arms into the comic book community that is Strange Cereal.
