All round caring staff. Dr. McCluskey does thorough eye exams and explanations.My eyesight is in good hands.

The entire staff was extremely friendly, helpful and professional from the time I entered to the time I left. Dr. Shah performed the YAG Laser procedure on both eyes. He explained every step of the procedure to me. He was willing to answer any and all questions I had and encouraged me to take as much time as needed to understand the procedure and after care.I most definitely recommend Beach Eye Medical Group.

Dr. Semaan was so helpful by explaining everything I needed to know after I got some liquid in my eyes. He was fabulous and eased my worries while checking if I had damage. So pleased with his help!

I had to have scar tissue removed from my eye that I had put off. Dr. Shah removed it painlessly and swiftly. He told me what to expect (true) and do a follow up in a week. I can see perfectly. Dr. Shah is a treasure and is everything you would want in a physician. I came to the HB office and his staff are wonderful too. Thank you Dr. Shah.

The office area is comfortable and the office well organized. My handicap status was accommodated through the exam and test rooms. The Dr was knowledgeable and shared testing results as they were conducted. Advise was forthcoming for future care. I couldnt ask for anything more.

Dr. Dru-Ann is thorough and personable. The rest of the servicing staff are efficient, no nonsense and caring. Front office staff very pleasant.

I saw Dr. McCluskey as I do periodically for care of my Glaucoma. She noted how red my eyelids were and she brought their eyelid specialist, Dr. Liu who carefully looked at them, then diagnosed the proper immediate treatment, and provided me with options. I intend to see Dr. Liu again for a longer term solution.

I recently had my eyes checked with Beach Eye Medical Group. Theres not a thing wrong with this facility. The people there are wonderful to talk to and Dr Semann was patient and understanding. These people are highly professional yet caring. Ive been going there for years and will not change.

My visit to Beach Eye Medical Group was excellent. I was kindly greeted upon arrival and when it was time for my eye tests my nurse was very friendly and nice and explained everything to me. My Dr. was Dr. Dru Ann McClosky and she was very caring and kind as well. I had a great experience and I look forward to my next appointment!

Dr. Seaman is great! He’s very patient, very kind, explains things well... in a way that I can understand. I felt so comfortable with him I asked him if I could make him physician. Two thumbs up!!!

Dr. Jwo called me back twice to help me get a medication for my Glaucoma I can afford. I really appreciate him taking the time.The girl at the front desk didnt want to take my name or let anyone know I had arrived. I had to wait 1/2 hour to get taken back. I finally went back to the desk and asked her if she wanted my name. She took it, and i got called back pretty quickly after that.

Classy and friendly people make the patient feel totally relaxed, and they handle the visit with a tough of humor and fun to make the atmosphere very comfortable. From the greeter at the desk to the tech to Dr. Shah, I was so relaxed and thankful for such a wonderful experience.

Complete inspection of eye beside getting glasses. Optometrist found retina tear and referred me to primary. They then checked to see I was followed-up. I had not, and they intervened. Just had laser surgery yesterday and was told serious and could have led to retina tear! So grateful for the optometrist.

Beach Eye Medical Group is all you need to get your eyes checked. The place is clean, the staff is really friendly and helpful. I saw Dr. Khalil Semana he was very clear, friendly and have me a peace of mind on my worries being a diabetic type 1. As a diabetic it is extremely important to have a group a doctors that will help you and give the right treatment if needed to have a healthy life style. I recommend anyone to go to Beach Eye Medical Group if youre in need to have an eye check.

My visit was very good. Staff was excellent and Covid safety measures in place. Dr. Liu was clear in explaining the surgery to correct.

I wasnt pleased with the over 1 hour wait to see the Dr.I arrived at 8:50 AM & I saw Lilly at 9:00AM for the pretesting then I had to wait until 10:15AM to see Dt Jwo.

When my left eye was done, there was no lasting visible effects. When my right eye was done, I was left with both a black eye & a bloodshot eye that is still in the process of clearing. How come?

I loved my visit at Beach Eye! Everyone in the office greeted me and welcomed me when I came in. I felt like everyone knew me! Dr. Shah is amazing he made me feel at ease because I panic when someone even gets near my eyes. Overall I loved everything about the practice. Both the Huntington Beach and Irvine locations were great. I was so very thankful that the staff was able to get me in quickly to be sure shingles hadnt spread completely into my eye. Dr. Shah and Dr. Jwo were awesome. I highly recommend for all of your opthalmological needs.

This is a very professional medical group. Dr. Shah is amazing. He performed cataract surgery with great success. Lorry Duncan is the wonderful Practice Administrator and meets with the surgery patients to clarify all procedures. Dr. Semaan is fantastic! I am a new patient and everything from making my appointment to the services I received were phenomenal. Once I arrived, the staff was very courteous, timely and welcoming and the office space is very clean and inviting. I went in with no appointment because of an emergency. It was nice of them to see me (I am a regular patient.) but the wait was 2 1/2 hours. Some patients with appointments had long waits also. This has happened to me when I had an appointment but not quite so long. Once I finally saw the doctor the treatment was excellent.

Luckily, Ive only had to come here for yearly checkups, but both times Ive had nothing but professional, efficient service. I was sent an email reminder to make my appointment, I was given a date very close to when I called, and when I showed up, the front desk was super quick to get me processed with my new insurance. Dr. Semaan is very friendly, professional, and never makes me feel like Im taking up his time. He answers my questions, no matter how silly, and explains things to me with graphics on the computer and examples using the machines. I really enjoy coming here.

Great front office staff and talented medical professionals. This group is well staffed and managed, with a state of the art facility operated very efficiently. The only downside is the filmy eye shades they provide for patients that have had a pupil dilation for a retina exam. The thin plastic sheet is ineffective at blocking sunlight, making driving after an exam quite a challenge. With other doctors I received wrap around sun glasses that fit over my normal glasses. Other than the eye shades, the service was impeccable.

They were very efficient and knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed my condition and offered treatments. I will continue to use them as my sole vision care providers.

Just left our appointment. First time at this office. Highly and pleasantly impressed. The front office staff was very nice and approachable. Got all the needed info from our previous Optometry office. We saw Dr. Semaan. Very friendly and down to earth and professional and knowledgable as well. He gave me more options and updated info regarding contact lenses that is of benefit to me. Erica was also helpful and patient in showing us our options for glasses. Absolutely loved the place & its staff! Would highly recommend to family and friends.

I have had more than one appointments when I have had to wait 2 hours beyond my appointment time before I get to see the doctor! One such visit was yesterday. They seem to have no appreciation for the value of the patients time. No word of apology from anyone including the doctor. It seems to be the way they do business. There were plenty of (lame) excuses but I saw no desire to correct things. I asked loudly why would you give me a 1:30 pm appointment when I would get to see the doctor two hours later? Just give me a 3:30 pm appointment instead. I hate it when doctors pack in patients like cattle to maximize revenue. Very unprofessional in this respect.

Everything was fine. I had to wait a long time past my appointment and wonder if appointments are scheduled too close together. Time needs to be allowed for the personal touch which Dr. McCluskey givee.

I found the staff to be friendly and courteous. The flow through testing was fast and efficient. Dr. McCluskey has a great chair side manner. I highly recommend this practice for comprehensive eye care.

I am upset with this location because today I had an appointment with one of their doctors for a follow up appointment. I had called them a couple days ago because my insurance had change. Well, when I came they did not called to verify my insurance. They told me that the person that verifies insurance wasnt in on Fridays, so they could not verify my insurance. They told me that may insurance may not be accepted and I may receive a bill. So, obviously I was not going to see the doctor until they verify my insurance. I had to reschedule my appointment to another day. My question is why couldnt they have checked on my insurance prior to my appointment rather than making me drive one hour to their location. Stupid! Dump! Pretty mad.

Dr Shah is absolutely amazing!!!!. Ive had laser work before with another ophthalmologist and it was incredibly painful. This was NOT the case with Dr. Shah, there was no pain at all!!!!
