I have been dealing with TJ Brutal for several years for not only customer bikes but my own. I find the quality of his work and service to be exceptional and his prices are more then fair. As for some of these bad reviews I see, it looks to me like a botched review, the one picture looks like either the person who installed the pipes does not have the capability to line them up correctly or purposely took the photo that way. I know for a fact if there was any issues the owner would have made them right, however I dont believe he would have ever let them go out the door to begin with
This guys work is shabby at best. It looks like a beginner welder that has never touched a TIG torch before could have done a better job. Welds were cold with horrible flow and consistency. Not only were the welds horrible, the overall flow of the pipes are disgusting with dents in the tubing. Maybe thats why most of his pictures have the pipes heat wrapped to hide the shady workmanship. If you want horrible quality for a high price, hes the guy to go to. If you want good quality work, I would suggest going somewhere else and not wasting your time and money with this guy.
Ive ordered my gas tank, brass velocity stack and jet kit from TJs brutal customs, about to order my seat and rear fender, he does good work and is very helpful with anything Ive needed. I recommend his page to anyone I see inquiring about Honda Shadows.
Tj might be a legend in his Honda Shadow knowledge, but he lacks in the quality of his craftsmanship. It took 8 weeks to receive my boot burners. Opened the box expecting perfection, but this was not the case. Sloppy TIG welds and horrific transition from one hand shaped tube to the other . Not only was I disappointed in the pipes, he managed to not ship the other flange needed to install the pipe. When spending $400 for pipes you should include new copper exhaust washers and mounting hardware. Ive posted photos of the above comments as well as what a real TIG weld looks like. Or #bootburners, #tjbrutalcustoms to see additional photos of his doings.
