Just seeing everyone reviews. if this place was such a 4 star store why dont they have trailers to rent like the other home depots?
The staff is never helpful here, but then again its always the same at any home depot you go to. Most of the staff there are un-aware of thw products they carry.
Worst customer service in this store. I waited 45 minutes to get help in lumber ASM and other employees said they will call someone to help me out and still no one came this is shameful for this store to have customers wait this long. DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE IF YOU NEED ANYTHING WORST HOME DEPOT IN THE STATE....
This home Depot has been there for many years and its a very good place to go and find tools I bought my set of DeWalt tools drill bits and all sorts of stuff its a its in a good location that has a lot of parking and it has all the stuff you need its its pretty good with prices I mean it might be pricey but youll figure out and youll find out what you need and if you have the money youre more than welcome you know to spend that theyre in a good way or whatever you want to do so check it out
Home Depot is a nice improvement store for your home. This one shouldnt let you down. For the hour I was there shopping, the employees were stocking and re-stocking the shelves. I found this Home Depot to be very clean and the employees were very helpful. Lines are long, no way around it.
Less than 0 o/o, no help, no structure, A total disgrace everyone standing around visiting with each other. I asked for help, I waited 1/2hr. No one came, I looked to the I look 1row and 2 are there, I asked for help, well call someone to row 4 to I stood an waited, no call went out on the mic. After 30min.i went to the door to leave, short slim young lady 👩 asked was everything ok. She said Im sorry about that, would you like me to call my manager, I said if you think that would help. I explained everything I asked for help no call went out over the intercom, yet in the time I was there, I heard other calls assistance needed on row......Im sure you can fill in the blanks. Im sure nothing will be done, after all everyone much to busy, OH! And by the way Ive been in the business a number of years....started in places....sure as TARGET,level #3 BIG LOTS,K-MART, AND MANY MORE, EVEN MANY DIFFERENT STATES. The young lady 👩 was on the door entrance by returning an exchanges, I mentioned to her about being a VIETNAM DECORATED VET. IM SURE THEYRE SOME WHO TRULY CARE, the time was between 6 and 7pm...someone outside had stated, we have 2hr i think they close at 9. My phone was in the trunk,,ANYWAY B BLESS D.....YOU ASKED I SHARED.
Find the location of what you want on the app or website; Don’t count on the employees help you find ANYTHING. The short girl in the entrance that’s supposed to great you looks like she had her soul sucked out of her. The floor employees are dragging their feet, looked freaking DOOOOONE with life. The store is pretty stocked thought which is why I bothered to go here
I really enjoy shopping at Home Depot I always find what I need and if I cant find anything their employees will cordially help you find what youre looking for. At checkout All their tellers greet you with a smile 😁 and assist you with all your needs.
I love to shop at the Home Depot for my home projects and plants . Its sweet meditation to me...but its sweeter when I come across amazing, sweet souls such as Manny ( the supervisor). You sir, are the best ! I love your attention to detail and charisma ♥️😊
All machines out of service. We ask for help and all they do is page each other but no one ever comes. Five associates joking around at entrance while there are approximately 40+ customers in line waiting to pay. Management should be replaced or trained to run a store efficiently. Any other Home Depot is better then this location.
I just wanna share that today I was in a rush to get some shower stems at Home Depot before they closed. A gentleman by the name David I believe last name is Aceves helped me out. He had the best customer service and I could feel he was really genuine about helping us. He took the time to explain how to do the work and he made me feel really comfortable. It’s an experience that makes you wanna go back to Home Depot. God bless David for his help. And god bless south central that’s where I live
Checkout lines moved like pond water. IT WAS 97, tropical and all. It could be that everyone has been trapped inside for 18m and now all these style stores are challenging. Logistics are lagging, quantity and selection can be limited. Good luck
What a waste of time. I needed someone to help me in an aisle, the girl at the register called anyone to the aisle I was in. I waited for 30-40 mins and No one showed up to help me. I had to go to a different home depot.. ugh what a waste of time!!
They only have self checkout plus I counted 4 regular service cash registers. The pod setup was the most no efficient setup for fliw of line traffic. They only had 1 cashier and the line for self checkout stretch the entire length of the main drive aisle running fron contractor desk to returns desk. Terrible design.

Johnathan from the electrical department was very helpful and knowledgeable. We (customers) need more like him. I was looking for the correct wire for the 4 Halo Ultra Thin Downlight LED and he knew which correct 14-2 NM-B W/Ground 100ft I needed to complete my DIY project.

Went for a curbside pickup and sat in my car for 40mins. I had to walk in to find the employees just sitting around them after day ohh were on it. 3 mins later my order finally came out

When we need to improve for our house we go to Home Depot for material we need to make improvements to our house. The Home Depot we always fo to for things for our house. The staff is friendly and nice.

They have no customer service in all the stores..you ask workers were the stuff is at & they dont even know .. come to this home depo at your own risk or if u know what your doing.

I want to give a huge shout out to Otis (name on his orange shirt) who helped me and my mom find what we were looking for. It was almost closing time and we had last minute DIY project shopping. Any and every question my mom had Otis was knowledgeable and was able to answer her questions. He was above and beyond with his customer service.

Very very disappointed and disturbed with the customer service from the hardware dept (supervisor).I was ignored and side eyed the entire time that I was waiting for help. By the (supervisor). Then to not get the part was very disappointing. Never going there again.

Shopping carts were never seen around up until a few days ago, it took a genius to figure that out. One day I asked for a shopping cart and I was told to go find one in the parking lot, very unorganized at this store. Needs new management and employees. Get it together Home Depot at Huntington Park.

The home depot is ridiculous. They have 4 people standing behind the credit card application desk and only one cashier at the returns desk. They have one customer in the credit card desk and about 6 people wanting to return or exchange merchandise(including my self). What kind of logic is this? Does home depot approve of having 3 extra employees getting paid to just lounge behind a desk? Besides that they employ a lot of high school students who know nothing about hardware or tools. Ive encountered 2 employees who actually knew something.

If youre like me and you keep forgetting where your house is, come here. The name of the shop can be very confusing, but dont worry. Although they do not sell Homes, they do sell everything you need to build one.

I dont know if its just me but I dont like waiting in long lines weather its when waiting to pay or waiting to enter the actual store. If you like waiting in a long line to pay then go to Home Depot. Honestly though it can sometimes be worth the wait depending on the time you have or what you are getting in Home Depot. Overall, Home Depot is a good store to shop at when looking for paint to plants to restroom and bedroom items.
I have a mobility problem and they had the entrance locked where the electric cart was so I had to walk all the way around just to get in store then all the way back to the cart by the time I got to it I was covered in sweat & in pain
Flooring department and customer service were amazing! Helped me secure the turf I needed and a truck to quickly move the turf. Easy! Thank you Home depot.

Very disappointed because I have been shopping at this location my entire life with my mom. As I entered the store I asked for help when it came to purchasing some new lights for my living room. The employees were on there phone ignoring me as I asked some questions respectively. Other employees did nothing to support the line as it got bigger and bigger.The regulations when it came to COVID were despicable and individuals walked in without a facemark. Other supervisors instead of helping the clients flirted with other coworkers. Many clients waited along with myself as we were ignored and not really helped as we stood patiently for about an hour. Luckily an employer called Gabriel made the difference by actually helping me with a product that I was looking for. A big shoutout to Gabriel as he made my day. But the store needs lots of improvements along with guidance to foster and enhance a better experience to clients very disappointed.

Disappointed they are not proving hand sanitizers around the store..I personally touched items only when was sure I was buying it. Other customers touched different items to make a decision and some did not even bought them.If you paid with credit card keypads dont get cleaned after each purchase so everyone touches everyones germs. Obviously not right given the current covid-19 circumstances.I got in my car and immediately sanitized my hands... Again, I hope everyone else is doing the same.Stay safe all!!!!

Great store but customer service is horrible. Wanted to buy a tool could not find it where the app stated it was ask for help twice nobody ever showed up. Waited 20 mins for help. A store can offer great products and deals but if their customer service is no good why bother. They keep dropping the ball.

Did not have what I wanted at the Downey store
The staff is friendly and I always seem to run across 1 or 2 team members on the floor or walking through the aisles. They are helpful.
I had a question about a termite product an employee who was passing by the aisle mentioned it was not his area but would call the person in charge (usually that person doesnt come). To my surprise a young gentleman(I didnt get his name) did show up within minutes and was knowledgeable about the products and assisted me with satisfaction. That saved me time and changed my impression about the customer service at The Home Depot.
I come here often for diy projects. The store is always organized and the employees are really helpful and knowledgeable. There is a long line because of precautionary measures but surprisingly enough they quite fast.
I gotta say most home depots offer the same service. A balanced mix of young people learning and old people that have alot of knowledge. Customer service is whatever. They expect you to know what youre doing or youll have a difficult time finding someone willing to help without obligation. I personally found myself helping paisano out with soil and nutritients for his trees and chilies. He couldnt find anyone. There wasnt any language barriers, everyone around spoke Spanish and could assist, but nobody acknowledged his need. I was looking at gates and was in no rush so I helped the guy out finding right fitted soil and nutrients he was looking for. I shouldve grabbed an orange apron while in was at it....... But i gotta say again overall home depots are typical as corporations get. But what you do want to look out for are the people trying tkk make a living vending theyre own. Theres lady selling the freshest avocates, warm and sweet curros, homie with the water less car detailing, and kids hustling the candor bars and gift cards. Not to mention tacos y más posted around the block. Come for the community and get some plywood while your at it.
Fully stocked of cleaning supplies. Feels safe during covid-19. Everyone was wearing masks and 6 feet distance signs were placed around the store. Customers were also friendly and respected the guidelines while I was shopping.
I was looking for help to find some items... Actually young workers in home depot are good to say this is not my department. They never help. They never check or surf in to their small and ineptness brain looking for a solution. Customer not import for this new triple zero generation. I ask for a mosquitoes net, using that information the small brain young inept told me. Isle one... That isle is for products to kill insects.... Raid and others like that... But God was with me... A Young Angel named RACHEL, take care off me and help me in the best way at old fashion Customer Care, like the home depot I knew 30 years ago. Gentle helpful. She check online, even help me to find a Round Lock... There is a potential great Manager for Home Depot... My experience in Slauson branch Huntington park was great thanks to Rachel. The home depot haves to put attention on this younger people 90% is not good at all.
