I had an IID device installed in my car that started to give me some issues at the end of its cycle because of a faulty device that a private company supplied, and I really could have gotten into issues. I purchased a Kenwood audio system and a rear view camera for my 2005 Dodge Durango, a year later I had a problem with the rear view camera not showing up on my radio’s monitor.I scheduled an appointment to service it with AP and they finished the service in half a day and there was no charge.These folks are really professional and care about their work and their customers.What else could you ask for?Highly recommended!

Great experience with these guys. Got an automatic starter put in, and they upgraded me for free. Called me and said the distance my original starter would work was very short and I would have to be close to my car for it to start. Definitely would have been a huge inconvenience and defeated the purpose of having it. Very appreciative they were looking out.

The worst experience i had with a professional alarm /audio store. Omid the so called brother of the owner said he regrets doing business with me..because i told him the truth.8 hours to install and alarm / remote start and the shock sensor still dont work, after changing them 3 times,huge delay..the worst $1200 i regret. There over priced on labor for the amount of time they take and the product barley works.

Very professional, went in with blown speakers not knowing what the issue was and were able to diagnose and replace them. No work arounds and straight to the point would definitely recommend.

And recently became aware that they install and replace upper tier headlights.. i.e. LEDs and what not. Mike and other staff members are always helpful and easy to work with. If you cant afford something outright, they offer layaway plans. I wouldnt recommend any other establishment.

I had my factory door speakers replaced I put a five channel amp And a box (10,) A few days later I went to turn my volume up and my whole system shut off. I Took the car back to the place and they replaced a speaker from the door they never figured out why the system continues to shut off and on once when the volume is up on April 6 I had another speaker replaced and now I have no speakers playing right now but the speaker that they replaced this is unacceptable I spent close to $2000 and I am not able to listen to what I paid for

Shopped around for awhile before choosing to have Some work done on my Toyota FJ cruiser. Audio Planet had the most competitive prices out of all the places I researched. Service was excellent and I was in an out within a few hours. Had my radio swapped out for a unit with Apple car play and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done! Since this last weeks cold snap I also decided to install a remote start which has been amazing. Don’t have to even leave the house to start my vehicle. Now a days it’s rare to get excellent service and great price but this places delivers on both. Looking forward to having a back up camera installed soon to complete the job.

The team installed LED lights for my stepson and when he picked the car up it had and issue with the accelerator. It seemingly was just a coincidence, but they fixed it no questions asked. Theyve been in business for awhile for a reason.

When the radio on my car shorted out, my dealer referred me to Audio Planet and told me to talk to Mike. He was honest and friendly. He did the best he could to see to it that my needs were met. In the end I got a much better aftermarket system than what I originally had and it cost me less than half of what I would have paid at the dealership for a replacement.

Just got a new car stereo and auto start installed. Very, very happy with the excellent customer service and fast turn around. The owner and staff went above and beyond making sure everything I wanted customized was done to my complete satisfaction. My install was difficult as the car is 11 years old and some parts needed were very hard to find as they are not made anymore. Additionally, keeping the back window going down with a button on my remote took a long time to code. The owners and staff went to great lengths to find all the parts needed and ensure they all worked perfectly. Very happy with my decision to use Audio Planet for my new car stereo. I visited due to the Groupon special on remote starter installation. The rep there was friendly and explained the difference between the special (a lot of cutting wires) vs. the actual remote starter hosing for my Nissan. Although the cost was a bit more, I went with the Nissan specs. Quite pleased to this date.

I scheduled an appointment to have a new head unit with satellite radio and to upgrade the amplifier in my car. My father had gotten work done in the past so I knew they were honest and reliable. I dropped my car off and received a phone call about an hour or so later informing me that the stock amp in my car was more powerful than the amp that I was going to get installed in my car. They asked me what I wanted to do, and obviously I told them to leave the amp that was already in the car. I was so surprised by their honesty in choosing to inform me of this. You just dont see that kind of honesty in businesses today, and I greatly appreciated that. They saved me over $150! Money that they could have easily charged me. I would recommend Audio Planet to anyone that is looking to get any audio work or exterior cosmetic work done to their vehicle. They now have a customer for life in me, and I hope this review will be able to get them new customers as well. Honest, reliable, what more can you ask for when dealing with a company? I brought my 2015 BMW 435 in for a rear camera install. I was nervous at first given all the work required to wire this up correctly. The owner of the firm gave me total comfort describing in detail how they would do it. they even called bimmertech where I purchased the camera and spent the time to understand the nuance for the work.It wasnt an easy install given my BMW is a convertible, but they got the job done and the quality of the work was fantastic. Its as if this was a factory install. I highly recommend Audio Planet because they are professional and dependable. They stand by their work!! Great company!

I walked into Audio Planet today just looking around for a new set of wheels and tires for my car. Once I walked in I was greeted by Michael almost instantaneously. Once I explained what i was looking for Michael quickly recommend a new set of wheels and tires that best suited my car. After purchasing the wheels and tires Michael and I started looking at the AWESOME selection and packages for car audio. I purchased the kenwood system he had sitting at the very front of the store and quickly informed me of the accessories and equipment recommended for car. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!My husband and I bought truck rails and had them installed here, was told if there was any issues to come back and they would replace them though warranty. They rushed within 7 months we went back to Audio Planet and submitted a warranty claim to get new rails. When the new rails came in they installed the new rails but charged us to reinstall, that should all be covered under the warranty which we were never told they dont cover. I would have not ordered theses rails I would have ordered them directly from Dodge which would replace at absolutely no cost to me. Absolutely ridiculous. They just lost us as a customer and we will spreading the word not to us Audio Planet for any of there services.

Have been doing my tints, remote starts for years. They do quality work, just make sure youre getting a good price. They will negotiate and sign in window says they match internet pricing. Installed a relay switch that costs 5 bucks online before asking my friend, and wanted to charge him 50 for it. Was able to get them to honor original pricing and match online pricing, after a bit of a verbal tussle.

I took my new Colorado pick up truck in to get new hid headlights in. Mike has always done a great job for me. He has serviced my Range Rover, Mercedes and is the best in the business. He does quality work and always does the right thing. There are few people today who stand behind their work. I had an Alpine radio installed that malfunctioned and he fixed it with no cost or questions asked. After years of good service I was impelled to give him a good review. I do home improvement and I am going to refer mike to do home audio for my clients. Give him a shot!

Recently purchased a new Murano and decided to take them up on the offer for a Viper Security+Remote Start System. Everything from purchase to drop off went well and as expected as I just got home. I would have given four stars, but I just noticed some visible scratched/dings around the push start ignition switch which I wished they had been more careful with. Other than that, good service and friendly folks.1/5 Edit: They were able to order and replace the bezel at no cost. Good customer service.

Great Place, as soon as i walked in, i knew i was dealing with knowledgeable guys. Michael made me feel that i wasn’t getting ripped off. In fact he helped me get an upgrade to a remote starter i needed. After it was installed, they came out in the cold to make sure I was comfortable with operating the starter. Such a friendly place that I’m coming back within a week to have them install a remote starter on my Acura. Which by he way, no on the island had the time to call the manufacturers to find out if they had any products for my 2018 MDX. Michael got it done. They are great!

Had new JBL speakers installed in my 2006 Landcruiser. the sound was a huge improvement. The speakers they recommended were expensive but worth it.Problem comes 16 months after installation when 3 of the 4 speakers go out. They diagnosed the problem as corroded speaker wires in the door creating a bad connection. Charged me $150 to fix. How can an 11 year old car that did not show corroded wires in the door when they installed the speakers 16 months ago, get corroded speaker wires in 16 months?Go to Central Sight and Sound who guarantee their work for lifetime rather than a place that only has a 1 year warranty.Wanted to put a remote starter in and Central was $25 less than Audio Planet with lifetime warranty on work vs. 1 year!!!

Let us start with the fact that I live in Glen Cove, and I took my car to Huntington to get work done because this place does such amazing work. Mike, the owner is very patient and pleasant and never makes me feel as if I am wasting his time with a question. He and Danny were extremely helpful to me and the system (remote start) works very well now. I had to bring it in after having it installed because my car is a push-button and that causes some issues. I was not charged for them diagnosing the problem and the second time when my dealership actually BROKE the switch, Mike was very accommodating and did not make me wait long at all. I will always have my equipment installed with AudioPlanet! There is no better place on Long Island! Thanks guys and keep doing the awesome job you always do!

I had a remote start put in recently, I dealt with mike and omid. The remote start works great uses factory remote. The only issue was that my auto headlights would remain on when canceling remote starts at night but I went back and they fixed the issue. Other than that I would recommend this place to friends and family.

The worst place ever!!! I had a remote start installed from there a couple of months ago. Recently there was a problem with the remote start and my car wouldnt start. I brought my car to this place and they made me wait 3 hours. After 3 hours the guy comes up to me and told me my car was working which is did. A week later my car wouldnt start again and when I brought it back the guy made me wait 2 more hours and then told me I have to pay $100. Why should I pay if I have a lifetime warranty through you guys??? The guys that work there are veryyyyyyyyyyy rude and DO NOT care about their customers!! Dont ever go here or you will do nothing but regret plus waste your money!!!

Just had my third very positive experience with Audio Planet. I was really happy with the information I was given regarding back-up camera/rear view mirror for my Honda CRV. They had it installed within 48 hours and were most accommodating. They also did a great job installing my Sirius radio. Returned to them two days ago with a rattle coming from somewhere in the front of the interior of the car. They took a test drive with me, heard the noise, and scheduled an appointment to find out what it was. After checking all the previous work theyd done, found out it was a loose panel under the glove compartment. Problem solved!!! All of the guys are really nice and very knowledgeable. Its a pleasure doing business with them.

Had a great experience at Audio planet to get the remote start installed and configured for my car.

Recently my dad, who is elderly, was having a problem with his car which we thought was the 12 yr old remote system. We brought it to Audio Planet and they explained if the car had other issues they wouldnt install a new system, but would be happy to check it out. Their tech discovered the problem, diagnosing a failing BCM (a main computer affecting windows, door locks, trunk etc. and eventually starting). They couldnt have been nicer, charged Dad only half of what it would have cost to install new system, and said they would charge him the other half to fully install after we had car fixed at dealer within a 30 day window. Ultimately they saved Dad the diagnostic cost at the dealership, and they never charged him for their diagnosis time. Yesterday we went back to have them install and they kept to their word, charging the remaining half. Everyone at Audio Planet was friendly, informed, honest and respectful of my 92 yr old Dad. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!Thanks to everyone there...highly recommend!

Highly recommend this place, installed my remote start for a great price. One year into it my remote stopped working and was out of warranty they still replaced it for free, they are much more than audio.

I have been to Audio Planet over 5 times, and every time it has been a pleasurable experience. They ordered and installed my brand new TSW rims in under 3 days with delivery included. They also took money off for me as I had to take a taxi to drop my car off and pick it up, talk about a company that is there for their clients. I had purchased a kenwood head unit from them and after about a year it just stopped working woudnt turn on at all. Of course I no longer had the receipt so I thought for sure I would have to buy a new unit. When I walked in to there store they remembered exactly who I was which and pulled up my purchase on there computer with out hesitation pulled a new unit right off the shelf and handed it to me I was in and out of the store in less then 5 minutes with a brand new car stereo. This was by far the best store i have ever been in as far as customer service, even when i was making my purchase the year before they spent a lot of time with me and had a lot of patients with me i had a lot of questions and they are very knowledgeable. i definitely recommend them.

I went in the other day with my friend who is looking to get a remote starter for her car and her mothers car and Guy was so helpful and honest that Ive decided to go back and get 1 for my car too!

I brought my 2011 BMW 535 here because the factory subs stopped working suddenly. I asked mike for some advice and he told me he could install the amp and sub i had sitting in my garage at home rather then wasting loads of money fixing the factory subwoofers that didnt really even pack a punch. Mind you, another place in hempstead said he couldnt install after market stuff in my car because it was too new and BMW makes things difficult....??So i went home and picked up the old stuff in my garage. I brought it back on a friday morning and within 3 hours my car was ready for pickup! When i picked up the car everyone made it a point to tell me my subwoofer and box were in terrible shape and i should replace them asap. The car sounded great to me and i figured when i have some extra cash ill replace it. The install was super clean and neat. The amp was so nicely mounted and wires were all hidden. I also had a universal knob to control the sub installed near my right leg in the front. This too was done very nicely and clean.Fast forward 5 days and my newly installed subwoofer stopped bumpin!! I was bummed. I called audio planet and they were nice to me even though i used old equipment that wasnt purchased from them! Surprise! And they were gonna check it out and fix it for free if possible! Even bigger surprise!I brought the car in and they checked it out while i waited. Turns out my box was super damaged and it blew out the fuse. They set me up with a new box at a super CHEAP price. Not reasonable.....CHEAP!!! and it sounds even better. The recommendation they made initially was spot on! I am very happy with the service and finished product i received from audio planet! My car sounds way better then stock and I am excited everytime i jump in! Thank you Mike and audio planet. I will be back and will refer everyone i know!

Just spoke with a gent on the phone at Audio Planet. The CD/NAV unit on our 35,000 mile Mercedes just failed - radio/nav/camera works but cant eject any CDs. The dealer is great but their cost is 2K to replace; they recommended a used unit from SoCal Mercedes Parts, which I bought for 475. HOWEVER, just after ordering the unit, I remembered that Audio Planet is nearby and called them. He told me to stick with the deal I got because an aftermarket unit would require bypassing the factory amp and therefore involve more labor cost. How NICE to deal with an honest business.

Had an alarm and auto start installed on my company vehicle after I got my truck back I was missing several tools and the autostart that they installed would not keep the vehicle locked while The autostart is running therefore leaving thousands and thousands of tools open to the public owner states that the vehicle will not stay locked because the previous owner meanwhile they charge me $500 to install A whole new system and will not warranty The work that he has on my vehicle and stated it was not his problemVery poor customer service would not recommend you waste your money

Bluetooth, Aug, USB, SD, and the amazing CD player all connected flawlessly. Picked up Alpine CDE-HD138BT Receiver and had it installed, The unit was on sale, Omid assured me it was well worth the price. This stereo really woke up my speakers and power amps! The sound is awesome. This Alpine unit does everything I could want, Bluetooth I pod. BT phone, BT Pandora, HD radio, XM radio, CD and USB. Fabian did install, very neat and orderly. Fabian obviously takes pride in his workmanship and it shows. He used proper adapters so job was professionally completed, The price of install is a steal compared to the quality job done.Make sure to read manual provided on CD as this stereo is easy to use once set up but has a lot of audio features that brings the most out of OEM power amps and speakers.I would recommend Audio Planet for install and will use them again.Steve
